I'm a little disheartened at the lack of pink pets this time around, I have to say. :(

Wain wrote:With the latest tweets indicating that stags, talbuks and clefthooves are likely to become tameable (but not 100% confirmed) I've added them all to the OP under a "rumoured" heading. Hopefully we'll know more about their confirmation and family structure very soon :)

There are other models, like rams or gazelles, that may be included, but I'm not aware that anything has been said about them and have left them out for now. Only the groups that have been mentioned explicitly are listed. Please let me know if any other models have been specifically mentioned as potentials.

The main thing I wonder is whether Mushan and Kodo will also be tameable, because not long ago, Jeremy asked what the name of a Rhino, Clefthoof, Mushan and Kodo combined family would/should be called. Now he's heavily implied that Clefthooves are tameable. So does that mean that the Mushan and Kodo are, too?

That's really my only question right now. While I'm happy to see Clefthooves, it's Mushan that really excite me. :)

Another kaliri skin! This one is called SunGod.

Image

(Technical note, it was also a little harder to find: the file name has 'i' missing and it's called "DraenorKalirSunGod")

Whoa. That one is ballin', ballin'-ballin', Jarl ballin', ballin'-ballin'.

Hmh.. could that perhaps be.. eh..

Some kind of beast god of the Arakkoa? It was already mentioned that at least one Arakkoa god (Sethe) is a primal god, kind of like a loa. So..

Very pretty, just wish the head was like the rest of the body and not so dark. And the one thing that bothers me about all the Kaliri (and the new wolves, actually) is how large their head seems. But I still love them and will definitely be taming one. :P

That would be Bendak, who posts here too :)

I keep forgetting to check that one up. I can never find it. Is it still around and tameable?

Hmmm... this might be something to keep an eye on.

When I entered Nagrand I noticed some green makrura who were classed as beasts (they're traditionally humanoid). I figured this was just a bug but then I got one as my Dire Beast while in the zone. So it seems like it's more than an accident. They aren't tameable, but who knows, maybe they're going to use them as lobsters or something!

This would make for an excellent non-ethereal spirit beast. :)

I know we've razed the subject to the ground, but as I was releveling my hunter through Tanaan after the wipe (build 18612), I noticed that the Void Wolves in the Umbral Halls in Tanaan are classed as beasts again, not aberrations. Still marked as not tameable, but I wonder why the switch back (to pave the road for that "one saveable" one, maybe? I dunno, man!)

No...please don't do this to me. I need a void wolf in my life  I was so disappointed when they changed them to aberrations. Hopefully, if it's in the starting area, then the savage void wolf could be like that white lion quest (you either tame it or kill it) and have a short respawn timer, along with the other elites you have to kill there.

I'm desperate for it not to be a rare spawn with a long respawn timer. It could be like that Ghosthowl in Mulgore. Can't remember if he's tamable but I tamed him on my hunter and when I logged back onto my druid on whom I spotted him, he was wandering around again.

Might just be me (even in past builds, sometimes the rylak wouldn't take off every time), but it seems like the rylak's ability to fight enemies in the air is gone. ;-;

Edit: Hmm, scratch that. It seems like the twinbreath skystalkers are still capable of flight. But other rylaks, like those flying over the crackling plains, can't fly.

Makes It pretty apparent it's a bug, which is a shame because it's so much fun. I wish blizz would implement it as one of the neat perks for rylaks. :(

My new favorite Wasp! :o

Notice the electricity arcing on their backs?

Electrified Stingtail in Spires of Arak. Not flagged as tameable yet.

In Spires of Arak, I round a few things... none tamable (yet), but some are. White wasps (tamable), brown boar, black and red new bat, blue plant-hydra, blue wasps (untamable). Also a rare that's a moth with blue body/white wings in... uh. Whatever they're calling Terokkar these days.

Found this hydra with spores growing out of it (vignette rare). Not tameable yet... not sure if it would keep the spores anyway (probably not). Like the color though.

Hmm, also found some raptors in Gorgrond I swear weren't there before the new build. Called Jungle Wastetalons, using the OL model. Will likely use the new model we've seen, but would still be cool to see another raptor model more true to the OL one.

Tamable.
