Oh wow. Oh wow, wow. Totally in love with the Trolls, especially the females. My warlock actually uses that face and I was very worried about how it would translate onto the new models, but I have no fears now. Gorgeous work and I absolutely adore the warts!

I'm glad I boosted my troll druid to 90. She's going to look fabulous now...just lemme make a male troll. Shaman or Mage? Or warlock? Nah. Not warlock. They look ridiculous on horse, to me. I think I'll go with shaman ^_^ ohh levelling I love you so!

I may have to play my troll huntress on the petopia guild more often now

Maybe I will change my mind when I see them in action, but I'm not sure at this point.

I honestly want to say that the male troll isn't nearly as polished as the female. Would also be the reason they didn't show him off near as much as the female either, because if you really look at his textures and things...they aren't nearly as detailed. I'm figuring they just wanted to go ahead and show the progress on them.

Btw, for those who are worried. They are still canonically fuzzy! This -was- tweeted the week before artcraft, but yes...jungle trolls are still considered fuzzy.

Isn't the compendium's considered non-canon now?

Digging for an answer, it seems as though Bashiok [Archived here.] said in 2011 that the Alliance and Horde Compendium books were companion pieces of non-canon.

I suppose you are right, but I'm getting mixed signals then from this answer. From the way Justin Parker [Creative Development] answers, that, it is a thing. Either way, all my trolls are still gonna be fuzzy. If the Historian staff says they are, then that's all I really need. I think it comes down to...those of us who've been doing the fuzzy troll thing will keep doing the fuzzy troll thing canon or not. :3 I know I will. Heck, I draw my DK as a Drakkari and my Mage as a Farraki. Ahaha. I would totally kill for Farraki skins.

Not so sure about the males. They look somewhat unfinished. I really hope they'll be improving them.

My predicament now is, now that Trolls look awesome, should they adorn their tribalistic masks and hide their prettyfull faces>

Nah, just the RPG and the parts of the compendium that may have gotten retconned. Trolls also have fur in Shadows of the Horde.

I've been away for a little while waiting for WoD, to return. Unfortunately, I didn't receive beta access but I was wondering if any kind individual who DOES have access could do me a huge favour! I play an orc female hunter but want to ensure that the model for the new female orcs doesn't mess with my favourite x-mog.

The wowhead model viewer is showing the ears through the helm and I want to make sure this is just an anomaly with the wowhead viewer.

If possible could you make a lvl 1 female orc and take a screen shot of her in-game with this item equipped in the dressing room:

So I finally got to see my character in WoD style. I'm quite happy with her. She doesn't look as happy, but that doesn't bother me too much. I'm not one to walk around smiling all the time, anyway. I was looking at the new emotes (well, same emotes just updated) and noticed she makes a really weird, funny face while dancing.
