Nightmare nodded, "I thought not..." She paused, thinking, then added, "Well...these things are amazing?" She said, holding up one of the cookies. "And...Everyone seems nice. If loud and big and scary looking...."

Chomp offered, "Want me to take you around to meet everyone?"

(( I have a pokemon related excuse for not posting! Aeris is Finally EV trained, level 100, and has her full moveset in my Diamond version! Yaaaaay! ))

Aeris felt her tail thump behind her, setting the egg down as it began to glow. A sharp 'Crack!' came from it as a pair of brilliant white pinsirs erupted through the shell, only to retreat back inside.

Daray was speaking with his child, telling stories already and generally just having fun. He always wanted a kid, even when he was alive.

Pinsir put an arm around Aeris as he watched the miracle of life present itself in a new child.

Nightmare flicked her tail at Chomp, tilting her head. "If you want. I don't want to be a bother," She added hastily.

The little egg sat still, listening intently to its daddy. It sent him a questioning message as the sound of the cracking of Pinsir and Aeris' egg, wondering what that sound was.

Daray blinked and glanced up, paying more attention to the egg than anything else. "Oh that..that's the sound of someone hatching. You'll make those kinds of noises too, when you hatch."

Aeris smiled, keeping her tail still.
The egg went still before it wobbled, then broke apart as the little pinsir inside burst out. She landed on her face with an indignant little growl, then pushed herself up to look up at her parents. Instead of a normal pinsir brown she was a soft blue in colour, with a white stomach and a little while spot on her forehead.

The egg seemed to consider this for a moment. There was a soft, experimental tapping on the shell from inside. It stopped and the egg sent Daray a message, as if asking "Like that?".

Daray smiled and nodded, then realized he was speaking to an egg. "Just like that. But it'll be a lot louder when you want to get out."

The soft, thoughtful tapping continued as the egg seemed to consider this. Though it wondered exactly when it was a good time to get out. It was feeling a little uncomfortable, a bit cramped. Maybe that meant it was time to get out soon? The egg let out a thoughtful hum and wiggled slightly as the little creature inside moved to try and get more comfortable. Also, those cookies-things daddy promised. It couldn't wait to see what those were.

Daray tilted his head a bit and stared at the egg for a moment before he gave a little shrug. He sat down for a moment, resting his back against the wall. "I'm already so proud to be your father...I never though I'd get the chance!" He grinned and then glanced around for a moment. "You're going to be spoiled little one...so long as mommy doesn't find out."

Pinsir looked at his new daughter, big smile on his face. He lifted up the neborn.

Chomp nodded, picking up Nightmare.

"So long as mommy doesn't find out what?" Molly piped up, having sneaked up as Daray was talking to the egg. She smiled as the egg let out a wave of happiness upon hearing its mother's voice. The Gardevoir tipped her head at the little tapping sounds coming from the egg. "Hm. Sounds like someone is getting eager to come out."

The little Pintini blinked at her father, then let out a little growly squeak and wiggled in his grasp.
"Do you want to name her?" Aeris asked, her head tilted a bit.
Hiban stared at his little sister, blinking. "She doesn't look like me at all."

Daray squeaked and then smiled innocently at Molly. "Noooooothing." He said cheefully, looking back to the egg. "They head Aeris and Pinsir's egg hatching and wanted to know what it was."

The egg gave a wiggle as if nodding, then demonstrated by tapping loudly a few times. Molly regarded the egg with a smile.
The Pokémon in the egg tapped again, louder this time. This time, it gave the shell a hard pound. There was a startled squeak from inside as the shell let out a snapping noise. A thin, spiderwebby crack appeared along the side of the shell. It was silent for a long moment before the baby sent a message to its parents, thrilled with itself. It continued to tap at the crack that had appeared.

Daray blinked a few times, his eyes on the crack in the egg. He titled his head, then glanced up at Molly. "You don't think..?"

Pinsir thought for a moment, ".....Sandy....."

"I-" Molly looked down, interrupted by another loud crack followed by a muffled squeal of delight. "...I think so." She seated herself next to her mate, watching the egg anxiously. It wiggled a bit, several new cracks branching out from the first one.

((*blinks tiredly at people but gives a haphazard wave.* I'm alive. Just sleepy.))

Nightmare blinked, ears pricked as she was picked up, listening to the sounds of more people coming into being. So many kids.

Chomp walked over to Lilith, "Hey Lilith....this little one's going to be living with us!"

Lilith smiled at Nightmare, "Hello there!"
