Azunara and Kozi

Azunara still looked rather doubtful. Kozri guessed it would be a good idea to step in for the kid...But this was rather interesting. Besides, she had to be exposed to alcohol sooner or later. Azunara added, "But...what if it's poisoned? Then I'll die." She sounded rather proud of herself. Let Decay figure a way around that.

Decay - Ironforge

"You won't be poisoned.", Decay said. The waitress came over, and after receiving a few coins from Decay she walked over to the bar, bringing back a rather large stein filled with cheap alcohol. Decay took a sip, and then handed the stein over to Azu. "Ain't poisoned.", she said.

Azunara carefully made her way out from under her table she had been, and shifted, sitting in a chair. She looked around warily, then looked back at the beverage. "If it's poisoned, and I die, Kozri's going to have to kill you." The druid said seriously, and Kozri blinked, saying, "Don't drag me into this, I'm innocent."

Azunara replied with sticking her tongue out at him, then carefully took a sip of the beer. She paused, a look of confusion crossing her face before deciding that this was a horrible flavor. Coughing and spluttering, she placed the beer back down. "Blargh! People -drink- that stuff?"

((Not surprisingly, Azu shares my take on the alcohols I've tasted. Stuff is nasty.))

Decay - Ironforge

Decay blinked at Azu confusedly, and then muttered quietly but with a slightly angry tone in her voice. "Drink it."

The druid protested, "I did! Tasted awful." She took one look at Decay's expression, and winced. She muttered, wincing as she drank more. She tried to keep a disgusted look off her face, adding, "Better?"

((Huh. AFK a bit for early dinner.))

Decay - Ironforge

"Yes. But drink all of it.", she said sternly, and then realized that she might be being mean. "It always tastes odd in the beginning. It gets better."

Azunara made a brave face, wincing as she drank more. "Still don't like it...But Decay kinda scares me more than the taste is bad. Seriously, Koz. How do you stand the stuff?" The druid asked the rogue mentally, and he looked up from his tea at her, replying, "Erm. Practice?"

Azunara seemed unconvinced, but managed to swallow more. She looked down to see how much was left, and despite her efforts to take huge gulps to get it over, it was a huge mug and she still had a good bit to go. Muttering, she chipped away at the rest of the drink.

Laure, Dalaran

Luare blinked at Azu and unsuccessfully tried to hide herself under the table, growling at how her cat form had to be so big. She ended up huddling half-under the table, intending to stay as far away from alcohol as possible. Yet again, the only run-in she'd had with it was with poachers who smelled drunk, but those ones had been serious problems. Either screaming about randomness, getting extremely angry and attacking, or just collapsing, she had always hated dealing with them.
Winter's Bite stayed outside the tavern.

Rassaa, suddenly in Ironforge for some reason!

Rassaa looked up in surprise as she saw the cat druid enter the tavern. That was the one she had spoken to not long ago. She shrugged, until she heard that they wanted to drink. She wasn't fond of drinking. A little now and then was okay, but too much was always annoying. She sunk into her chair, ignoring it.
"'Oy, lass, yer not chickinin' out are ye?" asked a gruff voice beside her. She looked up and scowled. Great. Standing, she walked over to the table. "Ah heard ye be wanting ta drink?"

((Yeah, completely hashing something together for her. >.>))

Decay - Ironforge

Decay grinned slightly at the look on Azu's face when she drank. Ah well, the girl needed to learn eventually. She looked up as a dwarf sat down at her table. "Ye heard me right.", she answered in a poor imitation of the dwarf's accent. "Indi, be ready with my money.", she said, not turning away from the newcomer. "I win, you pay, you win, I pay?", she asked, and waved over the waitress.

Rassaa, Ironforge

Rassaa shrugged. "Ah got gold." The dwarf in her kicking in, she asked, "What's th' brew o' choice?"

A large, happy grin split across the druid's face as she finished. She immediately shifted back into cat form and hid under the table, sitting close to Kozri and muttering to him, "Never again, okay? Never, ever, ever again." She tilted her head as she listened to their conversation. Seriously. How did they drink the stuff?

Decay - Ironforge

Decay shrugged. "You decide that. I'll drink whatever."

She grinned slightly as Azu crawled under the floor. She'd learn eventually.

Rassaa, Ironforge

Rassaa sighed, trying to remember what the best beer around was. Public opinion was leaning towards Wildhammer brew, but she wouldn't touch anything Wildhammer made with a ten foot pole.
"Wildhammer Battle Brew!" shouted that same dwarf from the other table. She clenched her first, sighing. She would have to kill him later.
"Ah think someone chose for us."

Luare, Ironforge

Luare eyed Azu warily. "You okay?" she asked quietly, hoping that Decay wouldn't get the idea that she needed to start drinking too.

"I'm not dead yet, so it wasn't poisoned. And I don't think I'm loopy or nuts." Kozri muttered something under his breath about Azu always being nuts, but Azunara didn't hear or ignored it. "The stuff tastes horrible. Like fish. I hate fish."

Luare, Ironforge

Luare shrugged. "Fish is okay. I like bear better, and moonkin is okay. Never eat Chimera though, it tastes like poison and I think it is." She blinked, realizing she was off-topic. "I don't like the smell of this place..."

Decay - Ironforge

Decay nodded towards the waitress, who came over with two huge steins. She put one in front of Decay, and one in front of Rassaa. "Bottoms up.", Decay said, and started drinking.

"It's too hot for me. The smell isn't too bad. There are worse out there," The druid remarked, now content in her hiding spot.

Rassaa, Ironforge.

Rassaa decided that this would require an old trick she had learned. Her mind always got in the way when she tried to drink too much, so she just used her spirit bond with a pet to let her mind detach itself. At the moment, her lynx was laying by her old table, being fed tidbits by the other dwarf. She lifted the beer and began to drink, then strengthened the spirit bond. Her mind shifted more towards her lynx, letting her watch half through his eyes. It helped immensely.
The battleworn red lynx twitched his ears, flashing a quick grin towards Decay. Even though his mistress didn't drink much, when she was forced into a drinking contest, this was always the plan. He knew what was going on.

Luare shrugged. "I'm sweltering, but at least I'm not drinking too."

Azunara made a sound of disgust, "Blaaargh. It tasted so bad..." She buried her face in her paws, and Kozri from where he was snickered. "Right then. You can just drink tea with me, Azu." He said with a grin.

Decay - Ironforge

Decay finished her drink, slamming th stein onto the table. "I assume you can handle more.", she said without showing any particular interest.
