It was more relevant to the fact there were numbers. And I wanted to be special. I ended up failing. That happens a lot. :D

O_o

IT WAS 3.1415 other numbers. I AM AMAZING.

Uh... I know pie is delicious. ((Moonlost loses 500 points for making an obvious joke))
I'm not very mathematically minded. >.<

I love math. Knowing math is the key to knowing everything. Everything is math.

My math teacher ignores me...

And then when I get the answer to test problems, she says they're wrong and I get to spent five minutes correcting a problem that was right, she just couldn't read my zero. I was trying fifty different methods to find the stupid volume, always came with the same frikking answer. >:(

I have one worse for you Azu,

Here in Australia, we have two rounding systems in use. Over in the eastern states, they're taught to round down (Which I believe is what is taught over in the US, no?). But here in Western Australia, we're taught to round to the nearest even.
So, I'm in year 11 of secondary school. It's the first week of the year and our regular math teacher is off sick (he was an awesome teacher btw). Our substitute hands us off a test of pretty routine questions. We power though with no real hastle. That is, until out subsitute notices that all of us got the rounding question wrong.
We didn't, by the way. We just used different rounding rules that what she was used to.
So the rest of the lesson was her trying to go over primary-level rounding, while we tried to tell her that we have a different system here. I think eventually we just gave up and played her way.

In Sweden we round to the nearest even, with five rounded up.

I had a perfect test once... but I got 49.5/50 because he thought my angle mark (A < with a little curve through it, how he prefers them drawn) was interpreted as a little triangle sign. >.>
I like math well enough. There's something satisfying about figuring out an equation or problem and getting a number at the end.

For us, we round to the nearest even with five rounded up. Like Satu. (I'm in Michigan, US.)

Ah, I'm not sure by nearest even or down.

What I was taught to do is if it is 5 or above, round up to the next 0. (As in, I would round 56 to 60.) If it was 4 or below, I round down to the nearest 0. (As in, I would round 42 to 40.)

For comprehension's sake, here we're taught that if it's 4 or less, to round down. If it's 6 or more, we round up. On a 5, we round to the nearest even number. It's just a tiebreaker rule.
Because WA has to be different or something. XD I like the system myself.

A day to break from the RP for a little is not an unwelcome thing, I think. *Goes back to trying to finish second part of Outcast*

Ah noes! Without the RP, I'll have to be productive. I might even go to sleep earlier than usual because I have no RPs! Noooooo!

Just being silly. Sort of.
