I really love the loam/flames scry, Vare! so much so I'm storing a variant of it here in case I get around to tinkering with it:

Made some new goals now that I understand color breeding (aka I'm just buying two that are as close to one another as possible). I actually already bought several dragons to make these, and I can breed both pairs in four days (my next hatches are tomorrow though, so I'll be waiting). I honestly should've just bought one of each and renamed them, but oh well. I like doing the breeding since I can flood the market with copies for people to buy if they want their own similar colors.
My first pair is White Chorus, White Choir, Grapefruit Soap:

Due to prices and/or availability, getting two White/White/Grapefruit was not exactly doable. However, I did get a White/White/Grapefruit, which is just one color off. Not only does this make my color breeding chances 50/50, it also has a nice alternate color scheme, so I might get another set of genes just for this one;

My second pair was thrown together after today's announcement of new genes being available to other breeds, and man does this color combo look nine on any dragon (except Veilspun, hate them). Coal Sailfish, Coal Marlin, no Tertiary:
Now, I know they're just using their obvious primary/secondary counterparts with the same colors, but man do they just look so good. First pair's hatchlings will look like glazed porcelain or something, while the second pair will just look awesome in general. If only the second pair's genes weren't so expensive...

I was selling off my fodder when I noticed I had
a very red dragon in the batch. Just for fun, I wanted to see how some genes worked on that color combination, and I ended up finding a keeper. Unfortunately, I'm broke as hell after all my other egregious spending, so I can't even afford to make this despite it being entirely marketplace-bought genes lol. I do not play hard enough to regularly farm treasure to buy stuff. Maybe I should start selling my fodder for treasure...
EDIT: A very generous benefactor gifted me those genes. Truly, I appreciate the kindness! Happy Holidays!

Two posts in the same day? What is wrong with me? I know; it's having zero self-control. I spent gems on another breeding pair, once more putting me below a satisfying threshold lol. However, this is reminiscent of my previous goal of getting a "zebra" Mirror. This time, it's with a Cirrus that has a Tan primary, Sand secondary, and Antique tertiary. Its Primary gene is Tiger and its Tertiary gene is Okapi, but I'm torn on what to pick for my Secondary gene.

Basic

Loam

Safari
Of course, this is a goal for later. I still need the cirrus breed change scrolls (2k gems), then the primary gene (67500 treasure), tertiary gene (95000 treasure), and if I don't stick with basic, the secondary gene (200 gems or 200k treasure, or 49000 treasure) as well. Maybe I'll start actively learning how to farm currency in 2026, because having no currency sure sucks lol. That, and I need to stop picking up breeding pairs. I only have 28 slots for fodder when I have no current fodder to raise lol. I should probably hibernate more of my dragons to make room at this rate.
Fortunately, now that I understand breeding, I have a pair ready that should yield the colors with relative ease; a Sand/Sand/Cream male and a Beige/Tan/White female. This means my primary color will be Sand, Tan, or Beige, my secondary color will be Sand or Tan, and my Tertiary will be Cream, Antique, or White. A bit more RNG than I'd like, but I chose the cheapest options with the least amount of variation in colors. I really need to stop buying breeding pairs lol.
