I would adore to have a Zoroark on my team... too bad they're event-only. And the events will most likely not come to Canada for either the Celebi that lets you get a Zorua or the Zoroak event. ;_;

Otherwise I think I'm set on having Pokabu as my starter for my first playthrough. Fire starters! <3 Also Zuruzukin. I'd have to say he's my favorite in this gen, along with Kojondo, Mebukijika and Erufuun.

D: That's the one thing that makes me sad about my country... (Well, where I was born. I live in the US now >.>) NO FREAKIN' POKEMON EVENTS!

But hey, Kam, once the events that yield Zoroark/Zorua come around to the US.. I'm gonna end up going crazy breeding a LOT of Zorua, so I could trade you one over Wi-Fi! :D

I like Rapidash! It's awsome, and very strong if you train in right. It just has a low def/S.def. but strong and Fast!

AMERICAN STARTER NAMES REVEALED!

Tsutarja is now Snivy (Snake + Ivy)

Pokabu will be Tepig (Tepid+Pig)

Mijumaru will be Oshawott (?+Otter)

Reshiram is no longer White Yin classification....he's Vast White

Zekrom is now Deep Black.

Isshu is now called Unova.

Oshaw is a coastal city in Canada, Ontario...Sadly I think that whomever named the otter was a hockey fan...since Oshaw Generals Beat the Erie Otters by 10-3...

Whoa. Those are some... unique names. They'll take a while to get used to. I'll probably slip up and call them by their Japanese names pretty often, because I'm so used to them. I like Snivy though, that sounds adorable! Tepig not so much, though. Sounds like a shortening of "the pig", heh.

Yeah, the names are...meh, I guess it's like every new generation, just going to have to get use to them.

I quite love these names! I mean.. They're a LOT better than what they COULD'VE been. I mean.. Mijumaru could've been 'Wotter', and Pokabu could've been 'Pignite'! I actually really like these names. Oshawott is just the cutest name EVER. Makes the Pokemon even CUTER than before XD <3 As for Snivy? It's my least favourite on the creativity scale, but on the cuteness scale? GAH IT'S SO CUTE <3

And with the new region's name? I honestly like Unova a LOT better than Isshu. Unova sounds a lot less.. Awkward than Isshu.

Aww, I actually like Pignite! Though I have to agree with you that Oshawott is cute.

I prefer Pigwarloc.

I liked the smugleaf and Emboar names.

Update for black/white:

Havent gotten very far in either, but have evolved all of my starters in bothe games to stage 1. White version, a shiny cannonball runner is still eluding me, I think If I wasnt playing black on my other DS I would go insane. At the pace that I am going I will probably encounter the deer pokemon in winter and hopefully get it evolved in the same season for an aswome winter dex picture.

Right after I EV train the current Aeris I have. And possibly a Pinsir. I made a promise soooo..yeeeeah.

But I will get my team up and running soon, hopefully!

I actually had an idea of putting together an interesting team in SoulSilver.

What would happen if I could get together a team for Double Battles with three tanks and three sweepers? My tanks would be there simple to try and draw attention away from my Sweepers (I actually wanted to teach them Follow Me till I found only a few Pokemon can learn it.) and inflict status effects. They wouldn't really be there inflict damage, but... just tank. XD My sweepers would be there to deal the damage with one stat boosting move for their best stat...

...Would it work? >>
