I definitely do wish they'd get the + magic damage debuff, or that this debuff was given to SOMETHING in Ferocity!

However I suspect that one was created for the people that managed to snag the ghost hydra (crocolisk) before it was "fixed".

None of the other hydra skins appear to be there yet, not that it means the pet is or is not tameable solely based on whether there is a pet image on the site.

The interesting thing is the ghost hydra has a diet on the PTR, cant tame it but it has a diet *thinks* did it always have a diet?

The Hydra page has been removed from Petopia's main page, though the link to it - http://www.wow-petopia.com/family/hydra.html - is still active.

I hope this doesn't mean Hydras won't be tamable after all!

MMOChamp put the hydra post up, then took it down. Now Mania put up the hydra page, and then hid it.

Does this seem like 'closing the barn doors after the horses already bolted' to anyone else?

I wonder why they're trying to be so secretive about it when it was all over the place within half an hour?

What Mania does with Petopia has no influence on what Blizzard decides to do. Since on the PTR, hydras are not currently tamable, it makes sense that she would remove the link from the main page. Hopefully the skills that MMO datamined up will turn out to be an accurate foreshadowing of the family being added, but until it actually happens on the PTR, it's just speculation.

Not sure if this has been mentioned already, since MMO Champion said some of these changes have been divulged already:

Hydra
Bellowing Roar: The hydra lets let's out a bellowing roar, increasing the critical strike chance of all party and raid members by 5%.

If this isn't confirmation, I don't know what is =D

Yeah MMO has the info back up so maybe Hydras will be tamable once the new PTR build hits the servers.

If your talking about the Blessing of Kings style buff....that's an Exotic ability. Those aren't shared.

I'm not seeing this information back up on MMO. Is there an updated link that can be used for reference? Otherwise, I'm inclined to wager that this information is just copied from earlier in this very thread.

Some pictures I took while checking my Hydra-lisk in the PTR .I noticed a few things and thought to share them...

Notice the new icon and how it says the slot occupied by my ghostly Hydra says"empty stable slot".


However there it is my croco hydra but now she is no longer a crocolisk, and is it tagged as an hydra. In addition,have a diet,and a pet action bar.however she dont have a talent tree.

Now draw your own conclusions.

It WAS there when the post was first made, under Class Skills, beneath the Lashtail Hatchling...but like the first mention of it, it's been edited out.
