Well, the dailies didn't change today from when I saw them at 1am, and as of yet I haven't seen any broodlings. I'll stumble upon them after Kirix's New Pet Smell has burned off and I'm able to bag him. I'm not gonna tango with him til then, though. It's why I want a little guy.
Heck, after all the effort, I'd almost PREFER a little guy.

Report from Elune!
Still got Broodlings up and making with the creepy skittering about the nest. Sorry your having such bad luck catching these babies, Monia and Worba.
When you DO get one, it'll make the tame that much sweeter. :3

Just tamed a broodling. Went up there and there was a pack running around. Chased them down, hit tame, and that was it. The seem to despawn and then come out again.
Now the question is, is green really the color I want?..

Last check of the day on Shu'halo, and yes - still no clutchkeepers and no broodlings, so that appears to be an all-day event.
And similarly when the clutchkeepers are up, they remains so all day.
Does anyone know if tamable broodlings last all day (up till soft server reset)? My suspicion is that they do, based on the reports I've seen... and if so, that would pretty much prove out my "green theme" theory, e.g. that you get a randomly determined "green presence" (clutchkeepers, tamable broodlings, or nothing) at each new soft reset, and then it's up for the day...

I had yellow clutchwhatevers and green broodlings. After doing a heroic, decided I liked yellow better...

Ahhh, crud, I forgot to get a daily list, but the broodlings were up on Dethecus today, whereas they hadn't been before this.

They're up on US-Shadowsong as well. Just tamed one, spazzed out cause I had its NPCscan id in, but there was no BR BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR in my ear when I saw a dozen red bars swarm me like an angry horde of Zerg.
They're not very eventful tames either. Throw a tame out, no need for traps. The little ones barely scratch me, and I'm still in crappy blues lol. Thanks to everyone for posting the info!
EDIT: A dude just freaked out and thought I tamed the green rare lol. I played along and said he probably had the wrong NPC ID. He's been standing by Skarr's spawns all day, and I freaked him out with it.

I just found these pathing around. I was tabbed out actually, was gonna look at this thread and "oh hey I have aggro HEY GREEN SPIDERLINGS

"
Tamed one with zero problems.
Oh and I'll be more helpful:
Found these guys just next to a druid of the flame (screenshot incoming). I don't believe it was server reset time when they crashed into me.
Quests I had:
Wisp Away
Harder they Fall
Hostile Elements
Burn Victims
Edit: released already cause I just wasn't clicking with it. XD Go figure.

Thinking about bribing the powers of my server. Soft reset, clutchkepers despawned! Start racing around excitedly!... Clutchkeepers came back.

so these kinda defeat the purpose of Kirix being rare. i know they dont spawn all the time but when they do there are like 10 of them and they keep re spawning making an unlimited supply to any willing hunters that want one that are logged on at that time. Instead of only one being up within a 8 hour spawn time

The purpose of Kirix is to present one of several new challenge tames.

We have other unique rares that can fill the purpose of being individuals, but right now these are paving the way for future tames that feel like more of an achievement or a thrill.

Both Anthriss and Skitterflame also have common counterparts, counterparts that are up all the time. It doesn't make their challenges any less challenging.

Just tamed a broodling on Sentinels (US) at 4am ST (7am EST.)
NPCScan blared at me and I decided to just face pull and hope for the best... aside from the hundreds of flaming spider bites, I got my pet! Looked all day yesterday for them, but only found the wounded druid with the wrong sort of broodlings mulling around.
Dailies were (including the regrowth) :
Between the Trees
The Protectors of Hyjal
Releasing the Pressure
Aggressive Growth
Burn Victims
Traitors Return
Hostile Elements

Reporting in from Elune!
Dailies
Wisp Away
Hostile Elements
Trailors Return
Burn Victims
Surprisingly, NO Clutchkeepers OR Broodlings.
Perhaps it's not just the Clutchkeepers that are tied to a daily, but BOTH. That would halfway explain the reason they are both gone at the same time if a third daily is present that does not require either. Doesn't count for the odd half spawns though. I'll keep you guys posted tomorrow when dailies roll over.

Well, from what I'm seeing, these things are about as rare and hard to get as Kirix... So I wouldn't worry. xD
