So a lot has been going on and its about time I gave an update. (image heavy) I found a cross sever Pug for ulduar 25 a few days ago and decided to join in. Our raid leader was simply amazing and everything was well organized and nearly flawless. He also got his legendary hammer just before finishing the run and getting everyone their mounts all in one go. =) This is probably my fav proto drake so big thanks to Thortok for the awesome run and grats on the hammer! ^.^

Oh and I hit 9k achievement points. Earning the FoS “Over Nine Thousand!”

Also got my TB mount and pet today. One more pet till 150! I was saving for the drake but I prefer my north wind drake and decided I would rather get the pet and the horse first. I was always jealous of this guy when cata first came out and I am really enjoying him. ^.^

I have also started hunting the ultramarine tank for the past week and I think I’m getting close to finding him. I have completed all of the night elf finds now and that really helped bump up the chances of getting a tol’vir dig site. (Yes! No longer shall I be tormented and hindered by the pointy-eared bouncy plague that is my own race!)
Just finished my last fossil solve tonight too so it wont be long now until mr blue bug is mine. (I hope)
Managed to luck out and get these two awesome pets on the first day of farming so I am quite happy with my results, so far so good!


It’s a frustrating farm but I think I prefer it over farming a boss since you can get other rewards for your time and can see and exsplore the world. Helps keep things from getting too repetitive. Tonight I found myself in desolace when my pet turned in to this guy.
"Oh yeah… I remember this buff."

"Hmm I wonder if I can mount up with it… nope….have to get sneaky…. Kill 4, set down explosive trap, mount up… woot."

"Then of course the lightbub turned on and all my attention became focused on my sandstone drake. Five kills later and…"

Ah well lots of fun. Hope to get the mount soon so I can start farming so I have some gold when MoP hits. Cant wait to see what its like participating in an expansion when it first comes out!

Fun! Cross-server groups are going to become quite popular I feel once Panda hits. I currently do a cross-realm Firelands once in a while and also for the past 4 weeks have been clearing ICC25 to continue work on my Shadowmourne Chain.


Just be prepared for a LONG and tedious grind for that Blue mount bug. If you think you're getting close, you're probably hex'ing yourself into many more hours of torment.

I hope cross-server becomes more popular. Arygos is not known for its amazing PuGs

So I get serious tunnel vision if I fly past a spawn point for something that drops a mount. After TLPD I have been avoiding spending much time in uldum or deepholm in fear that I will go crazy and refuse to move until I get my mount. I do however permit myself a quick flyby twice a day and the results were pretty good for uldum. I found three figurines all about two days apart from each other- adding up to about 14 in total if I count the ones found by my friends helping me at lvl 70.

So today I find another one, which is surprising since the zone had tons of people in it today. My jaw just about dropped when instead of getting a pile of sand this happened.


I summoned some guildies since it used to be that if someone was close enough when you killed it, they could get the achivment. Sadly it didn’t work for them but I still got my mount.
Such a refreshing outcome after the nightmare of my last two camps.

So then… I suppose it may be about time to work on Aeonaxx after I get my druid geared.

Grats! I'm trying to figure out if I want to do the camel or Poseidus next. XD

Well you could do both of them at once. Poseidus can usually only spawn on a Friday/Saturday so you could just do solid camping on those two days and then just do like two or three flybys a day in uldum during the rest of the week. You could still get things done but you wouldn’t have to spend days suck in the same spot if you have other things you want to do.

I suppose, already did one full flythrough of uldum today and with the restarts happening I don't have a proper grasp on when Poseidus will spawn next since restarts don't reset their timers. -weep-

Sylvi I still find it funny how LITTLE visable screen you actually have.

With the target of target, the Large UI, and the map, you can maybe see 20% of whats in front of you

All she has to do is scale down the UI and voila!

Scaling it down worked wonders for me when I got my new PC monitor, but then I ended up using TukUI and now I'm stuck with that... forever. Cause it's amazing. xD

If the restarts don't reset the timers, surely you should be camping at the normal times then? (Friday/Saturday for US servers?)

No, because if the timers aren't reset then they would still be ticking off meaning he could spawn at anytime (Depending on when he spawned after last weeks reset, and spawned again after that etc ) instead of being locked down untill friday. x:

Wow looks like the odds are in our favor. Friend couldn’t find his camel figurine so I came over and pinned it down pretty fast for him and wouldn’t you know it, a second lucky statue 24h apart from the last one. Grats to Powerhammer. =)


and yeaahh…. I cant see that much can I? >_> I did have a UI that I liked but for some reason no matter what I did I couldn’t lock my action bars anymore and I kept removing my spells >.> how would one go about shrinking their ui? /cough

I know how you feel about the seahorse- keeping track of his timer is a nightmare. If things line up just right you could easily go a week or two without a single spawn. =/ 72h+ respawn ftl
