I've preordered and am looking forward to this game Ranger actually really appeals to me (surprise, surprise) and both Norn and Charr females really look great for me. Considering making one of each, or maybe a Norn Ranger and a female Charr something else... necro perhaps.

Norn ranger <3 seconded! Ursel Baerenklaue is mine and my other definate character is Evelynn Pyke my human warrior. I dare say I will have many many more but those two are the only ones I know of off the top of my head.

Aysel or Aysu for my Norn Ranger... Or something else. I thought of something Nordic, but I'm lacking sites for Nordic names.

Yup, they emailed me that it was cancelled.

I called mine last night, I got no email. But since you are in Canada and I am in America the retailing is different even though they're run by the same company. What probably happened to yours is if you did not pre-purchase you just pre-ordered then someone else came along and bought out your copy. While stupid its the way retailers who sell this game are ordered to sell it, the ones who buy it completely get theirs first regardless. I'm going to pay mine off in full today and as of last night mine wasnt cancelled.

I bought it on the 10th (as in went to the website and filled out my order and paid in full, I dont do pre-orders) but apparently I bought it after the seeming 3ish hour window they had them "available" they closed the buy link and canceled a bunch of orders because they "oversold".

I paid in full, they just didn't process it fast enough. The issue is they are taking all of their pre-orders (reserve copies) and giving them upgrades to prepurchase (which imo is shitty, they reserved...if they wanted prepurch they should have waited for the proper date to do so). So that screwed people over.

And Canada had a far smaller lot of CEs available. Which was also shitty.

That sucks, I was told by mine that that shouldnt have happened... I paid off my CE just in case, so ty for the warning and I'm sorry about yours

Just a heads up, with how limited it is...there is still a chance you wont get one. So if you have a store pickup to go get it...I suggest you get to the store BEFORE they open so you can be one of the first people to grab it.

(If you don't get one they refund you, but that doesn't make you feel any better about it. )

Well, mines completely paid for(in person)so by MY stores policy I'm guarenteed it since only a few have fully paid for it. Idk how many your store had but my store still had plenty available.

This is just a general rule of thumb with gamestop/ebgames they're all like that.

I can't stand the EB games we have in NZ. They over charge so much XD

I thought this was covered earlier but now I can't find it - can you just buy GW2 (without owning any of the earlier versions), or do you need to buy everything the way it is with wow?

Yay! And yes it is Worba, having previous GW games though gives you Hall of Monuments rewards however.

I finally pre-ordered. Cannot wait!
