You know... looking at the arcane wyrm head, though. It's so finned and ornate... imagine if the hydra model was based on that. It'd be so beautiful.
With smaller fins, though. Otherwise it'd keep poking itself in the eye.

Maybe they are teasing us with a placeholder model--the hydras are in the shallows, about to surface!

Wait... so... it spawns right when it died... it's like hydra threads! A new one always seems to pop up when another dies.

Yeah, I thought of that and wondered if maybe I killed three of them then maybe I'd kill all the heads and it'd be gone, but you can kill an apparently infinite number. Maybe it needs to be killed with fire :/

Though this has nothing to do with new beasts or nothin', I do like how hyenas now have a new ability in the next build: the cackling howl. A nice little melee/ranged haste buff is always handy. *nods* It makes a mediocre pet now become another viable sort of pet that can provide a new sort of utility.

Serpents got it too! I like this change for both families - with the changes to hunter buffs, we no longer have to go survival for our own windfury buff.

if they do indeed make this into a 3 headed hydra model im hoping they put the currently unused orange azeroth skin on it because that one was lost to us in the cataclysm's radical changes to azshara (darn you goblins and your explosives)

So, at some point Mushan Nomads were changed from yellow to green!
Now they just need to be tameable... =/
