I hope The Black Stalker becomes tameable as well. I understand the final boss argument, but I just don't see that being much of an issue with outdated content. Most of the people who want to tame it will not be using LFD to do so. Not even sure you could still use LFD to queue for the heroic at level 72.

Plus most dungeon groups would just kill it while you were trying to tame it anyways. Unless someone went afk itd be pretty hard to tame it if the group didnt want you to

Yeah, just a speculation on why the Black Stalker may not have been flagged yet. More of a "just in case" scenario.

Yeah, it's possible, but Boglash, Marticar and Marsh Walkers aren't tamable yet either.

Exactly, it's too soon to tell.
I'm still in shock that the SSC striders were flagged. They're kind of obscure!

Idd.. what strikes me as odd is that.. the two mobs with the word strider in their name were flagged as tamable while the others without it were left untamable.
.. Wordfilter at work here?
(Water Strider being the family name and all)

Maybe we can convince the programers to add in some black striders somewhere or change some of the striders that are in the game to the black ones so we have another easier source for them? Like they have done with some of the other skins for the other families.

It'd be nice if they made it a tad easier to get them, but It wouldnt bother me if it was only the ones in SSC. I want one so badly Ill go in there and get it lol.

That one is currently tameable in SSC during the Lady Vashj fight (though it's tricky since they fear). It's also the same model used by The Black Stalker in Underbog, but he is not currently tameable.
