Just farmed some dungeons to get the last bit of rep I needed to get exalted with the Pandaren faction.
... 12 mounts! That dragged my mount collection from 125 to 137.

OMG FINALLY. I decided to do a bit of farming today since I never got a thing while doing the Golden Lotus dailies and in less than two rounds of the sprites... IT DROPPED.

That's funny, I just saw this post and someone in my guild just announced they just go one too

Problem is I don't wanna get too caught up in farming them cause I'm not even exalted with the August Celestials yet. xD

So I haven't posted in forever. Here's why.



Yes. She's my first panda. A warrior panda. Her name is Xianga and she's adorable and I luff her.
She's the reason I have no new mounts. Besides the fact I've also been ill and generally not in the mood for even my weekly runs. Bah.

She's gorgeous I love my pandas <3 The moment I could faction change Cas from a Tauren to a Panda I did!!!

Oh, I couldn't turn Soph into a panda, I still love my Tauren's too much, but I have rolled a Panda monk who I need to level lol. Just finishing up getting my tauren paladin and my alliance priest up to 90 (both at 89), then I'll probably work on her a little more.

Nice work on getting the turtles too! They are a huge boost to mount numbers.

I honestly can't even touch Tauren right now. As someone who's in uni making 3D models as part of her course... the Tauren models... are horrific. D: Sure, in their time they were pretty good, but until they get a model update I can barely look at them without twitching slightly. I love their lore though, so hurry up Blizz, model update asap so I can play a druid or something.

Seriously I've... lost interest in it somehow. Right as that exciting patch appears too! And I can't even be bothered with it. Every now and then I go on and do my weekly runs but that's about it, go to the Isle of Giants and kills a few direhorns before getting bored because even the baby ones take so damned long to kill. Urg. I dunno, I was so excited for the dinosaur patch, now I couldn't care less apparently. :/ I really wanna get back into playing WoW again!

Edit: Oh yeah, TCG. I bet some people are wondering what's going on and why I haven't got the newest set and why there are no free pet giveaways. Well... Money. Hopefully eventually though!

Sometimes taking a break helps to reinvigorate your interest.

Well I've been killing some of the Warbringers but I can't seem to solo them like other hunters can. Yesterday was depressing though. I sat and camped, waiting for one to spawn, and right before it did this group of four or five flew down and got the tag almost instantly. Some druid came along eventually and they invited him, but they didn't invite me at all. :/ I just watched them steal the spawn I was waiting for. Urg. I think I've killed four or five Warbringers now and I haven't seen a single mount drop. The other day I was two-manning them with a friendly mage I met though and that was pretty fun.

... Oh but the spawn they stole from right under my nose dropped a mount. Yeah.

Still no egg drops though. I killed a few big direhorns yesterday with the help of another hunter and when he left I killed the babies for a few more hours. Nada.

Since for some reason I was avoiding my weekly raid runs though, I did them yesterday, which means I did them right before the reset and now I can do them two days in a row. Woot. All I'm currently hunting for though is the Blue Drake, Ashes and Fiery Warhorse. The day Ashes actually drops I think I'll cry. It's been one of my most wanted mounts since TBC.

Well, there was that whole thing with making them very hard to solo recently. Maybe that's your problem? From the time of your last post, that seems it might be it... Don't give up hope yet! You'll get them.(:

Right now my best suggestion for the Warbringers would probably be to find a person or two from your guild or something to kill them with you. Maybe work out something for if the mounts drop? If not "so and so gets the first one", then definitely "if you already have one and not everyone else does, you can't roll, regardless of the colour". If I was on your realm I'd definitely help.

For now, just take deep breathes. They probably knew the druid; it may've even been one of their guildmates on an alt. You'll get all your mounts. I know it's very, very frustrating, especially with how difficult these guys are to kill. But you'll get them. It may take a while, but you'll get them.(:

Aww thanks Aela. (: My guild is kinda dead right now. There's no raiding going on so no one's ever online and my boyfriend has given up playing for now. >.< Every now and then I find someone who wants help so we team up together and that's not bad so I can deal with that. I haven't even been getting that frustrated to be honest, just kinda irritated a little, mostly about the fact that those guys didn't invite me to their group even though I was there like 20 minutes before them all and they tagged the mob and got a mount.

Soloing Vortex Pinnacle at loooooooooooooooong last for the North Wind Drake. Wanted that thing since forever. I do it too quickly though so I keep getting told I've done too many instances. xD

There ARE times where having shitty DPS is beneficial after all!

GL snowy! That one only took me 71 runs so hopefully you'll get him quick!

Finally seen one of the Direhorn mounts drop at last, I think it was the slate one. Didn't win it but it's nice to know they exist.

In other news, 30 runs of Vortex Pinnacle complete. It takes me roughly five minutes to get to the boss and kill him then reset. This is so damned easy.
Should not have said that. Now it'll take 200+ runs.
