mmo-champ has MM artifact preview up, and its crossbow is almost a great gun, except that it's a crossbow. It has an animal motif, lots of intricate design without being too flashy and clunky. No giant skull or lasers.

How many people prefer crossbows that there's a crossbow option for both Beast Mastery (even if it's sideways) and MM?

Yeah I quite like that model and would have greatly preferred that for BM, in addition to a few other crossbows... Maybe one depicting a wolf's head or a bear.

The cobra gun we have now is just fine and would go well with the animal-inspired crossbows.

But... probably not going to happen.

That being said, I do like it, and I'm not even a crossbow fan.

I don't mind the first two models for the guns. Will fit with my new Human hunter mog very well with the blue and gold. But I do plan on specing MM so I can get the bow/crossbow as well hoping we can mog over between the two.

According to the Alpha you don't need to be certain specs to obtain the artifact weapon, just to wield it. The spec requirement is in the weapon tooltip, not the quest's.

They also stated that you won't be able to mog the look of an artifact weapon onto another weapon, likely even another artifact, but you'll be able to make the artifact look like other weapons.

but it dosent bother me with using *guns* i quite like a few of them xD

they are transmogable as the TARGET of a different look (ie: make your artifact look like something else).

the are not transmogable as a SOURCE for a look (ie: you cannot make another weapon look like your artifact).

They do look very Titan/Mech looking? Maybe they heard peps really wanted a bow option? That said, not holding my breath either... just case

That first one reminds me of the Loader from Aliens....

it's a gunbow. It has a revolver cylinder in the middle. I... dunno. On one hand, since I'm planning to main a gnome hunter in Legion, I kinda like it. But my noof is flailing his arms in the back of my mind going 'WHYYYYYYYYY?!'

From far away, I almost thought it was a troll-themed design >.<

I enjoy the colors on it.

It does look like revolver cylinder, but maybe that's just the can holding the "Thunderspark". I kind of expected something more like this:


But still they listened (assuming it is a titanstrike variant). I like the bronze coloration (4th) the best.

seems to be confusion on if it's MM or BM still... either way it looks gnomish.

the file name just says "bow". I think wowhead just assumed it was MM.

I certainly hope that new bow is a Titanspark variant for all the gun haters. Want you to have something that works for you.

What I really want to know is how these looks are going to be earned..

I hope it's not the Titanspark bow because it looks way worse than any of the guns.
It doesn't look like the same glowing powersource that the others have but it also looks nothing like any of the Windrunner bows.

My guess is that it is the Titanspark bow variant? I can kind of see how they'd make an electric-string/electric arrow sort of deal with that sort of a composition. Either way, I will take a Titan/Mech bow over the gun anyday; guns just don't fit my character in the least. So if this is true, happy change for me!

Yes if they have heard the many complaints over the gun and are giving us a bow variation-thank the WoW overlords!
