I found another trick to taming the rat, and it's not easy as it took me many attempts, here it is step by step, no need for gliders here. I used mark map location for the steps on my map shots
1. Use your G-99 Breakneck to help you jump on to the pipe from the Junkyard, it could take some attempts to make it, if you make it on the pipe past the designated target, you can easily disengage on to the pipe as pictured here, here is the location for reference

2. Once you're on the pipes, traverse using your most comfortable way of transportation, also use disengage on places that can't be jumped on once until you reach this location, follow the direction of my character up on the pipes more, there's a closer area to jump to the rat, but it's nearly impossible, unless you have a glider

3.Once you go up to the pipe on this location, jump down and walk on the pipe back down

4. Once you get to this marked location, you can easily jump down then tame the rat, round of applause

Just remember i made this based on what I did, this is not an official guide, it did take me numerous attempts of falling off and failing jumps until I was successful

I'm surprised your car even worked. Everyone kept complaining that the thing barely works right now. Either way, that explains how to get on the pipes. My pal and I were trying all sorts of stuff, but we couldn't reliably get onto those pipes. I feel like that's PROBABLY the intended method, not the silly parkour we ended up doing lol.

Same for the Bombshells. The pictures that I have posted are just examples of new variants that were added. There are many, many more.
Grimewick is now tamable and retains his name.

The Escaped Bombshell currently holds the new record for the most variants on a single npc. A total of 36.

The Rusty Trashnester has all red cave crab variants. The Crusty Litterpicker has all black and pearl cave crab variants. The Fluorescent Trashpicker has all purple, blue, and green cave crab variants.
Also, the black crabs are meant to represent crabs that have been corrupted by the Old God blood, and the black shells on Bombshells have the blood oozing out of the bolts as part of the texture.

The Pterrordax Matriarch had its level lowered to 80 and so it is now tamable instead of only being tamable in the next xpac. This is the first armored Pterrordax to be tamable.

I feel that pain, I'm a tauren player and am constantly stuck with teeny weeny pets.

Don't mind me, just using a devilsaur because it actually fits my toon's size...

Many beasts like some hound models, boar models, coursers, scorpions and spiders need a size boost for some races. There are many giant pet models too, like dread rocs, bruffalons, tauraluses, cloud serpents, and of course the winner is the furry kodo which stays giant and doesn’t shrink, they should definitely add greater proportion for those who want it

Bomb crab update: it's very likely these are now going to be classed as Crabs, not Mechanicals.
(They're still mostly mechanicals in the current patch)

There's hope for crab shanks yet! This is good news.

As much as it’s nice to have the defensive ability on the bomb crab, they are better off in crabs as they look too lifelike to be in the mechanical family, sometimes things like this are too good to be true, but either last or change fast. I’ve checked up on the sunken river eels on the last couple builds, they are still tameable, if they stay tameable this long we might as well get the other colors

An easy way I found to get to the Undermine rats is the Back-Strapped Missile
https://www.wowhead.com/ptr-2/item=2310 ... ed-missile. I've found several of these in delves in the mislaid curiosities and in the chests at the end. It's reusable so you only need one to get around.
It launches you straight up and then forward. Pair this with disengage to avoid fall damage, or even better a goblin glider, and you can get on top of anything in the entire zone.

Wow, thanks for this find! I'll try it later and see how it goes but it seems a more stable way of getting on the building.

I really wish there's a way to make it fly when it moves, even at the cost of reducing its size.

The rockets and / or parkour are only required for the Radioactive Subject (rat), yeah? There's nothing else that is that hard to get?
I wonder if this was the intended 'trick' to the tame or if there's some other more straightforward way we're not aware of.
