i got the hyena and they are great pets, but since i have a wolf pet i couldnt seem to click with the hyena, they are very awsome cute pets though. when they hit 80 they are great in duengon and pvp, least that is my opinion i know i will get one when we get more stable slots.

Sorry you didn't like either the warpie or the dragonhawk enough to keep it Hopefully in Cata they really WILL sort out pet families. I can't wait to see dragonhawks, nether rays and rhinos regularly raiding!! I like warp stalkers myself, but I'm not a big fan of either of the two available skins. In fact, the only ones I think I really like are the black (Gezzerak) and the red, unimplemented Blade's Edge ones!

Here's the results of my experience with my Wind Serpent (Ehecatl). I was leveling, in Shadowmoon Valley, with my wife's Warlock who is the same level.

Try tanking an 80 elite with your pet
I was 68 at the time of my elite fight so i decided, as we were fighting him already, that Morgrorom would be his elite challenge. He was 4 levels higher than Ehecatl so I wasn't sure how well he would hold the agro, with my wife and me DPSing like crazy. He did, with very little help from me, hold agro for the whole fight.
Level it a level or two
Currently level 66 so gained 3 levels so far.
Do a heroic
Not done a heroic.
Do a battleground
Not yet.
Check the pet out in different lightings
He looks good in the couple of zones we went through.

Your Review:
This is one of the wind serpent skins I like so that was a bonus. Food was not a problem as I already carry around some Mag'har Grainbread for Slurm. I have "Count" Ungula who I havent really been to happy with so I was a little unsure of how this would go. But after playing for a little while this morning I have decided to keep my new little friend as he has done aswell as or even better than my other pets at holding agro while myself and my wife kill things. Sadly I will be letting the Count go back to the wild.
What was suprising about getting a Wind Serpent as my RPC was that, the day before, my wife was talking about taming one for her little hunter to use.

generally i'd try them again, but after trying them once, you kinda get a feel for whether you'd want them or not of a different color.

i'd never knock em till i try em though haha.
except bears though. something about the way they run...
