I wasn't even apart of wow's population when this guy was available or I would have snatched him up as soon as I could <3 so I'm happy to see this guy around for late arrivals like me.

Devilsaur spirit beast now plz????

I'm really so excited about this beast that it's taken me this long to compose myself enough to write a response. Thank you for finding this, Wain. I will love you for ever and ever. In a non-creepy, non-stalker way, of course. Promise.

Hope it gets turned into a normal wolf rather then a spirit beast , for me its a OOOHHH .....awww moment seeing that i would love to use that pet even if every other hunter had it but in any spec rather then bm, which for me atm is just a soloing/pvp spec.

Acutally, I kinda hope that they use a new model if this is going to be a SB. I dont mind if the current skin become tamable somehow, it would be great, but to have a new SB with a very, very old model, thats blocky and low res is not really good enough.

I mean, I understand making the old model tamable somehow (concidering the reson they gave for removing it's tamability was that it looked to much like a spirit than a beast... then they introduced spririt beasts lol) but I just think they can do better than this for a SB. Well thats just my opinion anyways, would be a bit of a waste of a SB if you ask me

New spirit beast could have any model for all i mind as long as the ghost wolf skin is turned to a wolf and tameable by any spec otherwise he will become just another pet with a really awesome skin that sits in the stables as bm raiding for me is stupidly boring compaired to sv for example;-)

The spirit wolves in duskwallow marsh are still ingame right? so wouldn't they have a different ID then this new rare SB tamable wolf? So, if tames keep the same ID...Blizz would have to cange the ID of hunters exsisting pets and/or the ones already ingame, to change current tamed pets into SB's...Hopefully they will honor the Hunters who have had this pet for years, and keep them as wolves, while allowing those of us who missed the chance for this skin to have it. (albiet in a different family).

I'd prefer if it was a white ghostly hue than blue to differentiate it from shaman pups now that will be a far more common skin.

It's been said in the thread that the old GTSW (AKA Spirt Wolves) stay wolves, it has been tested on the beta by people who have the old model.

And for everyone who is saying they don't like the new (but old) model... Blizzard could have not given it to us at all. I say be thankful for what you get, because it can always, ALWAYS, be taken away.

If you don't like it... don't camp it... it'll give the ones who really want the skin a better chance to get it sooner.

As someone who was lucky enough to be able to tame the original Spirit Wolf when it was a bug, I am so happy they've reintroduced the skin back in game for all those people who never got to tame it before they retracted it!

I get whispers regularly from people who see me running around with mine, and everytime I have to say "oh thank you, but its not available anymore !" and then explain it for those who ask.

Now they'll be able to get theirs!

And I will say that when I started reading the thread I was worried they would change the old wolf into a SB and I'd lose my wolf. I've raided MM all through Caty and Darsha, my spirit wolf, has raided with me as I was able to use him (my stable being 2 spirit beasts, rhino exotic, and the hydra-lisk) and NOT be BM!! I love wolves and I love the wolf special ability far more than my SB's, and I already have two SB.

So I'm hoping he stays a wolf, as he is now on Beta. Though honestly, after living with this pet for years and worrying after every patch I'd login and he'd just be *poof*, switching from wolf to SB is at least an acceptable alternative to knowing now I'll always be able to keep him.

Cuz there would also be the worry that hey would remove the old "wolf" version from current hunters who have him!! Or change the model!! NOES!!!

So if they ultimately decide to change mine to a SB I'll be sad I can't use him in MM, but at least I get to keep him forever.

I know Blizz could change that "wolf" to "spirit beast" now at any time in the future - ultimately they could switch it in a future patch after launch. I am not really reassured it hasn't changed in beta cuz I mean I would see that as pretty low priority at this point - something someone goes "oh yea, and we been needin' to change this forever.." one day...lol.

I tame my pets because *I* like them, common or special doesn't matter to me.

But I won't be taming the SB version too - I don't LIKE camping pet spawns at all...lol.

(and for the record, I would also love if they reintroduced tameable hydras too - at least then maybe the hissing noise they made would be brought under control. I can't use him with groups because people get so annoyed by the constant loud hissing - if they reintroduced them as spirit beasts even they'd have to fix the constant noise lol).

So yea the skin is back! And even better if they decide to never bother to "fix" the two types co-existing...lol.

Can confirm Karoma spawns in that location just tamed him/her myself a moment ago.

Didn't even notice the bush at the time of tame.

Scale of Karoma at 85 against original GTSG at 80. GTSG is slightly smaller but may scale with level.

As a hunter with ghostwolf on live I am VERY happy with this spirit beast

Finally other hunters that wanted this beautiful model will be able to tame it, and I will be able to use mine in all specs
