This just shows how flawed Garrosh really is as a leader. Pushing the Horde further into war when we should be rebuilding and recuperating after the last war is foolish. He's tearing the Horde apart! Not caring about much outside of the Orcs, driving off the Darkspear tribe so that Vol'jin is reconsidering his allegiances with the Horde, letting his temper get away with him and being manipulated into depriving the Tauren of a valuable leader, which resulted in the weakening of Tauren forces...
No, I'm not much of a Garrosh fan. Even though I'm Horde, I prefer Anduin Wrynn and Jaina Proudmoore as leaders!
But that's great writing. The WoW lore team is amazing, and I can't wait to see what happens when Cata launches.
The only thing that could make me happier would be hippogryphs. I hold my dream of tameable 'gryphs close, like a warm cup of cocoa...nom nom.

I'd like to be able to tame a clefthoof and they seem to naturally fall into the rhino family.

Hey, I didn't want to cause an argument on "Noah's" thread. I just wanted to make a suggestion and ask if something could be done, even something little, like showing a few Shatterspear Troll NPCs in Org or something, just some sort of reassurance that the
entire tribe hasn't been killed. If he can do something about it, that's great. If he can't, well ... that's life, and I understand. But I don't want to cause any fighting about it here. Besides, you can always go over to the
"What Happened to Shatterspear Village" thread in General WoW to argue.
Another, more on topic, request, Noah. I'd love to see a raptor or another reptilian, non-transparent spirit beast as well. Maybe the raptor loa that the Troll druid trainer mentions, or one of his kids or something, like how Loque'nahak is a loa's mate.
And I'd love to see tamable hydras.
Thanks again for all you've done.

I would like to add my voice to requesting a hydra family of pets (or officially as a crocolisk skin option). There are so many wonderful hydra skins in game, the awesome success of the ghost hydra-lisk as a popular pet, and some wonderful creative opportunities for a neat special attack and/or 'vanity" ability (like the foxes "play").

Firstly I am incredibly happy with the changes for pets for hunters. Getting 20 more stable slots is a dream, it's fantastic, the only thing better than that would have been THIRTY more stable slots. The patch has been out not that long and I already am having to abandon pets to save room for those that will be available once I start to level past 80.
1.) Improved wolf skins, they are really spiky, the graphics never seem to line up right somehow even with all my video settings up.
2.) I LOVE the foxes... but the teeth on them look really really strange. Maybe just let them have closed mouths?
3.) Pet collars! Oh dear god. Do you have any idea how much gold hunters will be willing to throw down to a Jewelcrafter to get The Perfect Collar for their beloved pets? I know I would pay a lot, I'd probably level a jewelcrafter just to be able to make them.
4.) More special pets, where we can see a fellow hunter's pet and know just how hard it was to get that tame accomplished, like The Beast, that is a hard tame, or King Krush. Where it's not difficult because of the spawn times + enemy faction + achievements, but difficult because we have to really work, figure out a strategy to get the tame done. I love those pets, where I really had to prepare in advance.
5.) More cat skins of varying kinds, would be really nice. I love loque'nahak's shape, it would be neat to tame a snow leopard rare spawn that had that similar shape, without the blue mist coming through. Loque is beautiful, but I don't let him out much because frankly he looks kind of weird sometimes with "holes" in his skin with blue mist coming through.
6. more devilsaurs, yes please? <3

Like many before me, I just want to express my gratitude to the wonderful changes. Some of the suggestions I want to make have been voiced before, but I feel strongly about them so I think they are worth repeating.
I'd like to see pet barding. After seeing the Bear mount from Zul Aman, I wanted to see my bear all decked out in cool stuff like that. Someone mentioned pet collars, and this is a similar idea. I don't necessarily want to have the items change any of my pet's stats, this is just for vanity purposes. I suppose it could be tied into the pet talent tree, since there is a Barding option there. I think there are quite a few of those talents that could translate into a graphical representation on our pets.
Another thing I'd like is to see some of the older pet skins get a little makeover. I think the level of detail on some of the newer mobs in the world is pretty amazing, but they make some of the original skins look their age.
One thing that I've been pining for since old school wow is tamable mounts. I would just love to ride into battle on my Devilsaur! I think though that this would have to be limited to just one or two mounts at any one time, and perhaps not tying it in with the mount achievement so as not to upset the rest of the wow classes. I don't know if this would be too much of a stretch. The Horde Raptor mount quest in Un Goro really got me to thinking about this again.
One last thing (I think). What about hunter specific quests that offer unique pet (either families or skins) as a reward. Even if this just changes some of the rewards from existing hunter quests as opposed to adding all new quests. Again, I think I was inspired by the Raptor mount quest. I really got attached to that little fella while questing for him.
Ok, that's all I can think of at the moment. Thanks for listening!

I think you already know what sort of pet suggestions I'm going to offer, O Lurking Dev...but for the sake of posterity, I'll go ahead and put them here.
-Either return Rak'shiri to her blue skin or give her a truly unique skin the same as the other rare spawn cats got. No other rare spawn got reskinned to share a look with any other cat, and no other rare got shunted into the category of "rare and unique...if you're Horde" or "rare and unique...in you're not a Night Elf." In every thread I've seen complaining about the color change, entirely apart from the fact the mob was changed in the first place, the commentary has been that she looks "plain." Please find some other mob to use the white striped riding tiger skin.
-Please, NO pet barding. As a raider, I don't want to have to run heroics or farm obnoxious amounts of mats to craft gear not only for me, but also for my pet, and not just one pet, but 25 of them. Not to mention that if I wanted a pet with armor on, I'd have tamed one to start out with. Please don't force me to have armor graphics on my pet I didn't want in the first place to have a statistical advantage in raids. Not to mention the bag space for carrying all my armor, all their armor, and my RP clothes that I keep with me. That almost sounds like removing ammo was a moot point because the bag space would be immediately taken back up with pet armor.
-I think it would be a good idea to try and figure out some way to alleviate the problem of people killing a pet a hunter is taming because it's rare/they didn't get there in time to tame it themselves/they enjoy griefing hunters in this way. Might there be some way for the pet to become untargetable while under the effects of tame pet provided the mob is already tagged to the taming hunter or something like that? I won't argue the decision for some rare spawn tamables to be included in the Frostbittenachievement/whatever the Cataclysm equivalent might be - but the mid-tame kills seem to be a recurrent problem that might should be looked at.
And as a side note...thank you in particular for the Sunwell dragonhawks becoming tamable. That's such a pretty skin, and I'm glad I finally was able to add one to my stable.

They've stuck a
Crystallized Tear of Loyalty in every new rare spawn that is intended solely for the taming purposes of hunters. This is a step in the right direction. Personally, I think that doing away with these tears and having empty loot tables on the meant-to-be-tamed beasts would be a better idea, since the tears seem like bait for antagonists and 'trolls' to grief hunters over chat channels with.
Not sure that we'll be seeing any safeguards against mid-tame kills being implemented, considering that it's not against the rules. After all, corpse-camping is allowed. What I would like to see, as someone else suggested somewhere on this forum earlier, would be more Ghostcrawler-type mobs - ones that will probably kill you if you aren't going to tame them within 10 seconds. He should prove to be a nasty surprise to the spiteful players who wish to kill the spirit beast just because he's named Ghostcrawler

People get raids together to kill Gamon. I can almost see the "LFM Ghostcrawler raid" in trade now. Making it a challenge to kill is just that, a challenge. Unless it is impossible to kill it in any way (and even if it's unkillable. People do kite unkillable things into big cities all the time after all) people are still going to try to kill it.
I don't see Hunters being able to get a grief free tame on Ghostcrawler on certain servers for a very long time due to people trying to be "world first" on killing him.

I too would love to see something put in place on at least the SBs so there is no want to kill a hunter's tame. Too many times had rares and even Skoll (only SB I've truly wanted) killed at the last second before the tame finished. My wishlist for our kindly "lurker" would be that and some more stable slots. I don't really want any more pets right now. I finally get to tame some that I've wanted forever but could not due to only having 5 slots. Only problem is now I don't have enough slots to get all the pets I want and that might come up in the future.
Thanks for all the pet love so far and look forward to any new faces/skins/etc we have to come this expansion.

Hello to everyone,
i have been pointed to this thread for suggesting a new pet for Hunter, which is watched by Blizz, I've been told.

Anyway, my suggestion is that you should make
Basilisks tamable for Hunter, as
Exotics. Since they are pretty much as Chimaera's imo...
I am sure Hunter players have suggested this before, so there is no doubt that many BMs would love to travel around visiting Azeroth and Outland places searching for old but still amazing looking beasts with hopefully something interesting in their talents. ^^
Make this possible, and many BMHs will be even happier with incoming Cataclysm expansion.
*Fingers crossed*

I would absolutely *LOVE* hippogryphs - Give them a wing buffet or thunderstorm ability ;_;! I long to have a hippogryph at my side and not under me as I fly around 3:
Also, pets running alongside you as you're mounted - Would LOVE this too <3

cnp from my pet bonus skills suggestions.
I find it unfair that only certain pets has bonus skills so here are my suggestions. feedbacks and thoughts are appreciated.
Bonus skill suggestions
1. Fetch
a. The pet loots nearby corpses(10 yards) and brings it to you.
b. Learnable by: Hyena, Wolves, Dogs, Warp Stalkers, Monkeys, Carrion Birds, Wasps.
2 Eyes of the beast
a. The hunters take the sight of the beast. Channeled. Last for one minute or until canceled.(like"eyes of the beast")
b. Learnable by: Birds of prey, Spiders, Bats, Moths..
3. Air bubble
a. Makes air bubble that automatically can catch whatever fish that the hunter caught while fishing. (Basically hunters that has these kind of pets out does not need to right click on the bobble.)
b. Learnable by: Crabs, Turtles, Nether Rays, Crocolisk, Serpents, Wind Serpents, Silithids.
4. Summon Tickbird
a. Summons a tickbird to groom the pet, slowly generating happiness. Once in combat the tickbird will fly off.
b. Learnable by: Devilsaurs, Rhinos, Gorilla.
5. Spitfire/Wildfire
a. The pet will automatically create a small fire whenever you are cooking and reduce cooking time by 5%.
b. Learnable by: Dragonhawks, Chimeras, Corehounds, Sporebats.
6. Dig
a. The pet helps you dig for artifacts faster.
b. Learnable by: Worms, Scorpids, Beettles, Ravagers, Tallstriders, Raptors.
Fox's play also now slightly increases the pet's happiness.

yeah basically nestle is bear's bonus skill. I just love how untamed carrion birds can perch and relax hence why I suggested it.

Ever heard a dog walk across linoleum? That's kinda what I imagine a raptor on stone floors would sound like, from the claws tapping as they walk.

Hello Lurker and thanks so much!
It's really lovely to see the developers listen to the community and all the new pets and appearances are wonderful.
The only thing I miss right now in that department is a white demon dog that isn't ghostly, preferably very rare too!
But what I really would like is such a silly thing as "Abandon" changed to "Set free" "Return to Wild" or something that isn't so harsh. Sometimes you have to let them go for stable space or other reasons and it would feel a lot better if the process didn't feel so cruel, especially if it's a pet that's been serving for a long time.
Anyway that was my wishlist.
Have a happy hollidays and take care!
