Zaruuk - Elwynn
"Don't apologise. You have nothing to be sorry for." Zaruuk responded, leaning up against a nearby tree with a small smirk on his face. This youngling had some fire in her. "You're entirely correct. I have a bit of a personal ventetta against our own kind. I take this out on any other draenei I see, whether or not they deserve it."
He fell silent for a few moments. "How old are you? Wait, don't answer that... Do you remember much of Draenor, or our time in-between dimensions before that?"

Elwynn
Kozri nodded, "Between the two of us, I'll bet we can find her."

Decay - Elwynn
"Wrong.", Decay replied simply, tossing the swords up into the air with a quick flash as the ice formed. She reached after them, looking very concentrated, and made them stop mid-air. With a quick wave they slashed after the tree, cleaving it. Decay pulled her hands back and the swords followed, at which point she thrusted forward, piercing the tree with both swords, hitting almost exactly the same spot as before. "Huh. My accuracy is declining.", she said with a slight frown.

Myriana and Swift - Elwynn
"I do not mind your guidance, just please, do not take your anger about whatever happened on me, please." Myri was relieved that Zaruuk seemed to be done berating her, at least for now. Leaning back against the tree, the hunter closed her eyes as she thought about her answer to his question. Forcing her eyes back open - damn she was tired - she told the older draenei what she remembered. "I was born on Draenor, but I was a no more than a child during the wars. I remember being on the Exodar, but I have to say I can't remember many details. I had sustained a pretty severe injury when it crashed. " She smiled wryly. "My mother said it was because of that injury that I am not a Shaman like my father was. I was always off playing with animals rather than meditating about the elements. Ahh well. I am not sorry for the path I have taken. I have been to Outlands - Draenor - on several occasions, but Azeroth is what I remember, so Azeroth is my home. " She was silent a moment then added, "I don't care what the others say" under her breath.
Swift relaxed as he realized the male draenei wasn't going to upset his master further. The fox lay down next to Myri, idly watching his surroundings.

Indigosa--Elwynn
Indi looked impressed. "There's no way I'm going to be able to do that," she replied.

Decay - Elwynn
"It's only really a neat trick. It takes too much concentration for it to be a viable strategy, really. Either way, my point was to show that you can manipulate ice like that as well. Try forming it around you as a shield."

Indigosa--Elwynn
"I see. I suppose since I showed off earlier it's only fair." Grinning, Indi purged the area of heat around her, forming ice crystals on her body and solidifying them. Unfortunately, in her overzealousness of getting the hang of mastering frost, she made the ice to thick and fell over from the weight. "Help!"

Decay - Elwynn
Decay put her hand in front of her face and sighed, and then quickly cast the spell herself, forming a layer of ice at least as thick as that of Indi's over her own armor. She bent down and easily lift the other death knight up, putting her back in a standing position. "The trick is to use the frost magic to manipulate the ice, so that you use it to add to your strength. Frost isn't about physical prowess, it's about control and discipline."

Zaruuk - Elwynn
Zaruuk was secretly pleased that his earleir guess was right. No wonder she was more tolerable than most other draenei.
"I returned to Draenor but the once, I did not stay long." Zaruuk said, his voice taking it's usual bitter tone at the end of the sentence. His green eyes unfocused and he stared ahead, lost for a time in memory. Enkaat and Halaa little more than ruins. Shattrath a foul mockery of the tragedy that had happened there. The moment passed quickly and the mage jolted back to reality.
"I don't want to keep you much longer." He spoke as he moved away from the tree he had been leaning back against. "I suspect the last thing you need right now is me prattling on, considering your earlier injuries. I'll leave you to your peace. Should you ever find yourself with the insane notion to learn about our people's past, I would be happy to tell it to you."
Zaruuk began to walk away, taking a few steps before stoping.
"By the way," He said with a soft tone of voice, still facing away from Myri. "You asked earlier why Swift had no issue with others of our race, but did not like nor respect me. The answer is that I am Draenei in the truest sense of the word. An exile. I have thrown away the gifts the Naaru bestowed upon me. Swift is trained to hunt down the monsters that threaten you. And what else but a monster would dare to throw away gifts bestowed by divine beings." He spat out the last few words before moving away again, resuming his search though the campsite ruins.

Indigosa--Elwynn
Feeling embarrassed, Indi nodded. "Quite a bit different from that of blood," she commented. Before attempting to move, she redirected her attention to actually controlling and feeling the powers of frost, once she felt she had a firm grip on it, she lifted a leg, pleased as she was able to manipulate the ice to move with her.

Myriana and Swift - Elwynn
Myri took a few moments to absorb Zaruuk's last statement. Feeling further explanation was needed, the hunter hauled herself to her hooves and hurried after the mage. "It is not that Swift does not like you. I said that to be hurtful." she explained with another blush. "He thinks you are easy to pick on and enjoys getting a reaction out of you. Although, after the last outburst, I think the rogue learned his lesson." She continued in draenic, somewhat shyly "I do not think you are a monster. Angry yes. I understand that. But, if you had truly thrown away the gifts given you, would you not be akin to the Broken?" She felt silly asking it, but he had offered to teach her more about their people, and there was much she didn't understand.

Zaruuk - Elwynn
The draenei stopped in his tracks and turned to face Myri. She was not repulsed by his implication that he rejected the Naaru and all they stood for? Interesting.
"Not entirely," He said, thinking back to what little time he spent with the Draenor broken. "The broken and lost ones don't worship the Naaru like other draenei. Not because they chose not to, but because the Naaru turned their back on them. They were mutated by the fel energies of the orc warlocks when our settlements were destroyed. Apparently, the Naaru do not accept those who are less than perfect in their army of the light. For a time, most of our race felt the same. They were cut off from their worship, rejected by so-called divinity. I freely gave up mine. The difference is slight, but it is there."

Kozri grinned wickedly. "Well, there's already been enough chaos, and we're a good distance away from any town. Ever flown on drake-back before? We'd be able to see her a lot better in the skies."

Myriana and Swift - OCC
Myri was silent for a moment as she considered Zaruuk's words. The younger draenei couldn't particularly blame him, when he put it all that way. His was a story she definitely hadn't heard before. She wasn't particularly devoted to the Naruu herself. She prayed to them every now and then, but these days she found herself swearing more towards The Light the humans and dwarves worshiped more than anything else. The thought of giving up the gifts her race was given hadn't even occured to her. Not that she was planning on doing it. That small healing gift she had came in handy and she would not be willing to give that up. Deciding that the talk was getting a little to philosophical for her liking and not wanting to pester Zaruuk, she replied awkwardly "Thank you. I'm sure I'll have more questions later. "
She looked around what remained of the old camp. Brightening she said "I wonder if they left behind any chain mail. I need a new tunic." She looked down at what remained of her tunic and shirt from earlier, and was horrified to realize that she had been talking to the older draenei with practically nothing on. Granted, she was better off than Indi, but not by much. "Uh..yeah. I think I'll go look over there" she waved vaguely in a random direction and hurried off, mentally berating herself for being so stupid.

In reply, he took a few steps back to give himself space and let his human disguise fall. The drake grinned, "I love flying." He said, more to himself. "Right, you're pretty light, so this shouldn't be too bad. Watch the wings though, they're still pretty tender." He added.

Kozri
Elwynn
Kozri flared his wings, flapping hard to take off. He hovered for a second, wincing as his healed wings stung in protest. Finally, he headed higher up into the air, pushing through the treeline and flying above it. He glanced around, looking at the forest below. "While we're looking, maybe we'll find where those Cultists went. I'd rather not be caught off-guard by them."
