Yup. I give up. Ankha spawned for the fourth time in a row. It's no longer worth my time.

I.. I... *sobs a little cause hes a gorgeous spider* im sorry Solix... i tried... you killed me 6 times before i got your energy down to 30% but my trap persisted... and with 3 seconds left on the tame you died... ;_; i want my Soliiiiix, i never knew his color was so gorgeous till i saw him chasing after me (i was initially taming because he was a challenge pet)

You guys keep confusing me. I keep seeing people posting about Solix's energy and them failing the tame, but on the Petopia and Wowhead pages, it says it's Skitterflame who has the energy bar you need to watch and that with Solix you need to kite him with ice until his debuff disappears. So are the websites backwards or something? *is confused*

Skitterflame you need to trap with ice trap two times I think before his debuff wears off. Solix you have to kite around with freezing trap and get him to lose his debuff then tame or else his energy goes and he dies

That didn't really answer the question and makes them sound nearly identical. As I said, both Petopia and Wowhead say the opposite of what I keep reading.

yea, and of your debuffs on him it appears to destroy i guess-- if both are the same way in energy bar, their energy, i was CS'ing and it was ticking his energy down little by little, same as the ice traps, unfortunately when i started to tame he was still CS'd and in my ice trap at about 27 energy and then he broke from at least one of them, im not sure if tame beast can lower their energy (would def make it challenging), began to kill me (slowly though) and then suddenly he dropped dead and i just stared... i was so sad, he was the first challenge beast i could attempt without anyone else around, banny got murdered, and i havent seen the other rares

i dont know skitterflames fight but solix you kite and the traps/CS will whittle his energy bar down till he becomes tameable-- the ice trap (puts down an area of ice that slows movement) is the key to solix's fight

My confusion arose from not seeing it mentioned anywhere that Solix has an energy bar--I see it in his comment list now.

Also, I just read Digger, an online comic... Yeah, I'm not sure if I want to cry from sadness or happiness. I guess a bit of both. /cry.

I died 4 times trying to tame Kirix only to have the person who announced he was up tameing him for a 2nd time 'because no one apperently wanted him'

LIKE WTF I WHISPERED YOU PERSONALLY TO SAY I WAS COMING, i also talked to you earlier, you KNEW i wanted him, I KNEW you HAD him ALREADY, and you just went out and tamed him so you have 2. You saw other hunters as well trying to tame while i was still claiming my body and several others after you tamed came to his spawn since they were across the zone

Edit: its been 14 1/2 hours now since Banny's last spawn and ive been here for about 10 of those hours...

It's just been one of those days...

ready to be done with finals and on my one week of vaction getting so aggrivated ._.

Why won't you spawn, Kirix!? You are the only one to have me gasp out loud whenever my NPCScan goes off.. Only to find it's just a pet. I learned a brand new spec just to survive the masses of Horde that go around killing everything in sight - only so I could spend more time waiting. Every other Hunter comes and goes as they please, but I am always here, even if you don't see me...

As for RL, I really wish I wasn't such a major procrastinator... That assignment for a summer course I took has to be finished, but I just can't find the inspiration nor energy to finish it.

Just a quick rant...

Deth'tilac spawned on my server (Boulderfist US, I'm Horde) a short time ago. I ran in, and attempted the tame twice until I noticed another hunter standing there. He whispers me, and I say I'm happy to switch off attempts; find out he was just clearing out a path to kite Deth. I apologize, say "I must have swooped in when you were clearing the trash, sorry!". Proceed to follow him and take off a couple adds for him while he makes two or three attempts. He then says "bah! your turn", so I jump in for a third try. Going really well, revive pet and do the trap dance. Get him low enough that the debuff drops off. An Ally hunter jumps in and starts dpsing Deth. I figure I have enough aggro, but the tame keeps dropping. The Ally just keeps doing dmg to Deth, then turns and starts killing me. I drop the Ally, then proceed to retry taming. I'm about halfway through when the Ally rezzes, then just...kills...Deth. Out of spite, or stupidity, I don't know.

I feel terrible, not because of what just happened to me, but because this means the other Horde hunter is out of a spawn too. I friend the Horde, tell him that the next time Deth spawns and I'm there, I'll help him get the spider. Just...pissed right now. PvP server and all, but c'mon people. That Alliance just kept two Hordies in the competition pool...and now we know his name.

I wish everyone would stop arguing. It annoying.

Every one on DA only wanting these DA point commisons and not wanting normal ones. It's not like you don't have to buy the points with real money oh wait you DO buy them with real money..... So whats all the normal comisson hate then? How are people wanting real moeny for a commisson greedy? Cos they want to beable to use their pay anywhere?

I ... wait, isn't that what a commission is? I prefer just paying cash because DA's point thing makes me uneasy. >_>

What's driving me nuts is rude people who call in for help and then do things like start pushing phone buttons if I don't give them what they want or slam the phone down hard. ><

You're not the only one with problems on that. I'm doing point commissions for exactly that reason, yet I've still got nothing.

Yet I see other artists whose works honestly sucks (really, really bad animu crap that I drew like six years ago) get RL commissions. WHAT.

And I need money for a Doctor Who convention. I'm tempted to just change it to real money and see what happens.
