Been a good day, despite the fact that school started again. A very good Figure Study art class started up today, and due to carpooling I'll be having two of my friends over every Monday after school until this art class ends. It's definitely a good class for me to take. I'm terrified of drawing humans, and that's the only thing we're going to be doing. Of course, it did slightly stall my work on the mounds of homework I have tonight. >.<

Also got to give and receive late Christmas presents. I got an amazing octopus stuffed animal from one of my best friends- it's amazing.

Harvest Moon 3DS: A New Beginning arrived today. It's a silly game for all intents and purposes, with no stress whatsoever and very simple gameplay, but it's exactly what I was looking for from a Harvest Moon. It's fun, relaxing, and therapeutic.

Edit- SO RELIEVED. I hate conflict in all forms and I had a friend call me quite a few nasty things the other day before saying he didn't want to be friends with someone like me- all very sudden and without reason. Turns out my brother screwed up (and he admitted it, I don't really blame him) and told said friend a few things that I'd ranted about in private, just to vent. All seems to have worked out though. Phew.

Eee~ Yesterday I got a call back, someone wants to hire me! Well, they want to interview me and potentially hire me! And maybe put me in training camp but I'll take it! GIVE ME WORK! *rolls the dice*

Happy because I got the Feldrake, Grand Black War Mammoth and Onyxian Drake all in less than two weeks.
A little bit mad at myself though because I normally two-man Onyxia with my boyfriend but I was bored, soloed it and it dropped. And it's his birthday today. >___<

Squeeeeeeeeee! I got my lavender dragon! Thanks DS group on Feathermoon. :D

I also finally caved and got a 3DS XL. I'm bummed they don't come in purple yet, but I'm totally digging the new Harvest Moon.

No one felt like shopping today, but the HMV sale was on... So I went on my own and didn't mind cause I went nuts with it! Came home with a giant Pikachu plush, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, Rio, Quest for Camelot and two of the newer Pokemon movies. And then somehow later I found myself on Etsy and now I have Horde logo and Rainbow Dash cutie mark necklaces being made! (:

My full-sized Squishable Cthulhu came in today (link, for anyone curious), and oh, I thought my mini Squishables were the best things in the world, but this guy proved me wrong in an instant. He's HUGE and fluffy and exactly the right amount of squishy and he has great wiggly tentacles and, and... <3

Well, after many trials and struggles (read: the stupid thing refused to download, and my computer is probably having some serious hardware space issues, which I should fix at one point), I finally managed to download Photoshop. It's that older version that's been going around, and it was also rolled in with Illustrator, Bridge, and some other fancy programs I don't know or won't use.

Played with PS for five minutes last night. Defiiiinitely going to need to look up some tutorials. (My pen tool kept filling in? It was really irritating?)

Looked out the window first thing this morning: Meh, gloomy clouds and cold.
Looked out the window an hour later: SNOW!
Looked out the window right before going to class: 10cm of snow on the ground and still snowing heavily. o.o

Luckily I only have to walk like two minutes to get to class since I live on the campus so the snow is more pretty and nice than annoying for me. (:

Um my PS is newer so it might work the same but I use the pen tool lots. Mine has a option of fill in or stroke. Try to see if it has stroke as that will colour in the line you make with the pen tool. Hope that helps :3

This kind of post sounds like it would fit into the rant thread a lot better. :P

This thread inspired me to order a mystery squishable and a puffersquish keychain. Let's see what I get! :D Well, got. It should be here today.

Ooh, let us know when you find out! Or at least let me know. I'm so curious. I'm always tempted by mystery squishables, but the risk of getting an Android stops me from going through with it.

Yeah, I was kind of worried about getting that Android, too. >_> I got a Sabertooth squishable! I was lured in by shot at a retired one. He's not what I expected, but he's growing on me. :D His derpy expression is cute. I like my pufferfish keychain squish, though I wish they'd bring the big ones back.

But squishables are really soft and plushie. I'm amazed.
