Rise of the Shadows!

[Kira]

Daray nodded and gave Molly an innocent sort of smile. "Yeah, and maybe it'll get bigger."
(( Not so subtle hint that they needs to make an Egg! ))

Remi rested beside his mother, waiting for her to wake up. He took the Mewtwo egg into his paws and closed his eyes, seeming to be communicating with it.

[Kamalia]

((*snicker*))

Molly blinked, then ducked her head and flushed. She looked back up, a sort of halfway shy, halfway amused look on her face. "Maybe, indeed."

[Kira]

(( *Gives Kam puppy eyes* ))
Daray laughed and then looked at the egg as a simple yip came from it. "Um...I think it's hatching.."

[Azunara]

Solara glanced at Soundwave, ears pricked, looking slightly confused. She looked back at the grave, Buzzard and Baaz. Her tail flicked, and she seemed somewhat relaxed. Slightly nervous about Baaz's presence, but the Dawn didn't seem aggressive. And he was alone, so even if he considered attacking he'd be outnumbered.

[Kamalia]

((I approve of a little Raltsly. *nodnodnodnodnod*))

"Hmn?" Molly blinked and looked down. "Oh! I thought it was going to hatch soon. But not that soon." She set the egg down and stared at it, waiting.

[Kira]

"It's the love around." Daray said as he nodded, then snickered. "Nah, I think it just wants to hatch to see it's pretty mommy."

The egg gave another little shake, then growled and rolled over, a whine coming from it afterward. Another little wiggle came from it before it rolled over again, the side starting to crack now. The sound of paws scratching at it furiously from the inside could be heard.

"Okay...It's not even hatched and that's got to be one of the cutest things I've ever heard or seen." Daray said with a smile as he watched the egg.

[Kamalia]

Molly chuckled, watching the egg roll around as the little creature inside tried to make its way out. "Well, guessing by the colours of its eggshell we're going to have another fuzzy and purple little bundle on our hands." She pricked her ears as she heard some small sounds coming from within the eggshell.

[Kira]

Daray nodded, smiling a bit. "You can never have enough purple." He said seriously.

The egg gave a little shudder and a growl came from it before it was struck in the side again. The egg broke apart and the little pup inside continued to run, then tumbled and rolled until it hit Molly. It landed on it's back, a little whine coming out of it. Bright red eyes looked up at Molly as the head tilted. It looked like an Eevee but with a Growlithe like mane, tail, and tuft on it's head. Red stripes were scored through it's fur. "Mama?" The voice was obviously male, his eyes huge as he stared up at the Gardevoir.

Molly gave him a broad smile, sat down and gently picked the pup up. "That's me." She studied him for a moment, then rubbed her nose against his before setting him down on his paws. "Are you okay? That was a bit of a tumble you took there." She paused to look up at Daray. Another little boy. All we need now is a little girl, hm? She gave him an almost impish grin.

[Moonlost]

"Many of us lost kin unnessicarily in this war. On both sides." Baaz looked back at Buzzard, trying to think how to best phase his thoughts. "... I know you feel your cause is lost. But look back to the warzone. Dusk, Dawn and Sunrise mingle together now, healing those who need it. They cry collectively over their dead, some celebrate being alive. It may not be the peace your brothers envsioned, but it is a peace nonethe less."

[Kira]

The pup blinked before he smiled and nodded, his tail wagging. "I'm okay!" He said cheerfully, turning to see where Molly had looked and falling onto his back as he did so. He stared up at Daray, his eyes wide again. "Daddy?"
Daray smiled back at Molly, his eyebrow raised for a moment before he turned his attention to the child. "That's me."
The pup rolled over and tilted his head before he charged at his father, leaping onto him and knocking him to the ground. "Daddy!"
"Ooof! Strong for a little guy!"

[Kamalia]

Molly laughed.

Olivia watched from a small distance away, a grin on her face. "Looks like I'm an aunt again." She said to herself, chuckling.

[Lupis]

Buzzard gazed thoughtfully at Baaz, silent for a while before answering. "...Perhaps. It isn't a peace I can trust. My kind did horrible things to your kind, and yours did the same to mine. Such things are not easily forgotten by any. While I may be willing to forgive, not all are. But yes. Perhaps for now there is a sort of peace." He grimaced. "I have a feeling that even with our best efforts, something will break it. Something always does. I simply hope it is not one of us."

[Moonlost]

Venin sat up, stretching herself. "I think I've had just about enough of watching the Dawn and Sunrise pat themselves on the back. A little sick of the Dusk moping about too. How about we get away from here Phantom. Take to the roads so to speak, see the world. Cause havoc in our wake and all that good stuff." She grinned at the Smolderon.

"Nothing lasts forever." Baaz responded, shuffling his paws in the ground as he spoke. "It is both human and Pokemon nature for us to battle one another. I expect a time of peace while people rebuild, but there is always another war on the horizon. As to what may start it, who can say? But war makes the peaceful moments all the more important, all the more precious." The arcanine smiled weakly at the Charrosaur "I hope that you can find some solace in this peace, something to hang onto."

Seventeen and Gamin stood side by side at Scarab's grave, silent. Eventually, Seventeen placed a paw on the grave mound, taking it away to leave her pawprint. There seemed no right words to say, so the two of them opted to send him off with a howl. Their voices reberverated and twined with one another, hers higher and his deeper, and echoed across the former battlefield.
They dropped their heads, their song fading to the winds. They looked down at the grave one last time, before turning to pad away.
"What now?" Seventeen asked, looking up to Gamin.
"I want to get away from here. Far away. I just... want to leave this stupid war behind us. Leave the Hounds and everyone they hurt. Start again in the wild somewhere." The Muayena responded. Seventeen licked him in responce, and the two loped away, disappearing into the forest.

"Sounds like a good plan to me!" Phantom replied, grinning.

[Magnakilro]

Chomp smiled as he approached the former Dusk, picking berries as he walked by, "Hey....I thought I'd make a peace offering...."

He held the berries out.

Soundwave decided to ignore the feeling and sat there, rubbing Sol's back with a wing.

[Kira]

Daray rubbed the little Eevlithe on the back as he looked at Molly. "Got any name ideas? Cause I'm totally out."
The little Eevlith seemed quiet happy, tail wagging as his foot began to move when Daray scratched Just the right spot.

[Kamalia]

The Gardevoir blinked, then scratched the back of her head as she pondered. "Names, names... hmm..."

Buzzard nodded. "Perhaps. You are right, you know. I am completely idealistic. People can never live up to what I want them to be. I surround myself with those who come the closest. This.. is a reality check." He sighed, standing and shaking out his wings. "A painful one, perhaps, for all included. The Dawn and the Sunrise won in one sense of the word. Lets hope that's enough, yes?"
