make an account on http://imageshack.us/ or http://photobucket.com/ and (if you use image shack,) use the direct link (upload one at a time) and use [ img ] [ /img ] (just with out the spaces in between) to post images.

You can also, like I do, click on "full editor" next to "submit". Then there is a space under where you write, where you have a box you can upload your pics, so they are added to your message. If you click on them while writing your report, they open in a new window and you can just copy the url (something with wow-petopia in it) and put it in [ img] [/ img] like starkittens already said.

You can attach the pictures to your post as an attachment and insert them into your post with image tags from there. Or you can set up an account at a website like ImageShack.com or Photobucket.com and copy the direct links from there (on Photobucket they have a preset image code that already comes with IMG tags so all you have to do is copy and paste the link).

For example:

Code: Select all

I use photobucket and just click the forum image code thats already made. I just have to hit ctrl+v to paste it in and its really fast.

That's what I use as well, which is what I used to generate the example code as well. XD

This time around I was assigned the blue jormungar. I was pleased by this match, since I love the fuzzy worms and find the Burrow Attack ability they have amusing. I typically have a purple jormungar in my stables, but he's a pet that I abandon now and then for stable slots when I go on my taming sprees, since he's an easy to find mob. I've been wormless lately, so playing with one again was fun.

I found my blue, fuzzy worm in the Storm Peaks of Northrend. I'm never not BM spec, so I didn't even think twice about taming an exotic. Jormungars have this adorable, muppet-like quality to me. They're just so derpy and seemingly good-natured. I named this one Snuggie.

Image

Jormungars are HUGE. That's one of the things I really like about them.

Image

They wiggle while they "walk," the two flipper-like spikes at their sides waving in an enthusiastic manner. They also make everything they attack sound delicious. They have a bit of a drooling problem, but it's really not very noticeable.

Stealthoworm!

Image

I like to take my jormungars to solo dungeons that have packs of mobs to aoe. When using Burrow Attack solo, you have to keep in mind that it drops aggro, so be prepared to position yourself and your worm in the right place (and be sure you can take the damage). Heroic UP sounded like a fun thing to do, so that's where we ended up.

Image

I misdirected the huge running pack of mobs before Skadi at Snuggie (to position them around him), and then had him Burrow. They died phenomenally quick, and just left two pulls after that. I think that was my fastest UP run ever.

Image

Snuggie looked so confused at having done such a good job. "What just happened?"

Image

(Fast forward a few hours)

Being Tenacity pets, worms can be spec'ed for Thunderstomp. The spell effect for them is HUGE.

Image

I noticed Snuggie got quite pink in Icecrown from night time lighting.

Image

I used Burrow Attack on lvl 80 quest mobs. It made doing tourny dailies go much faster.

Image

Their other ability, Acid Spit (which increases physical damage), is ranged. Good for shooting at pesky mutant bat things.

Image

By the time I was done, I missed my usual Snuggie and swapped out the blue one. Much better. Welcome back, Snugs.

Image

Jormungars are awesome and amusing pets. Their Burrow ability is fun to use when solo, but even better when used in group AOE situations (where you don't have to worry about aggro), not to mention what a great buff Acid Spit is. I love my derpy muppet worm.

My challenge for my baby hunter, Lyalla, was a white wolf. So I flew to Dun Morgh to tame one of the Winter Wolves there. Turns out I could have just tamed the one of the ones right outside Darkshire but I, apparently, must do everything the hard way. That and the fact that I'm very unfamiliar with the Alliance zones contributed I'm sure.

The tame was easy as these are like lvl 6 or 7 beasts. Nothing notable here!
Image

I named her Ayla because I think its a pretty name and it just came to mind.
Image

The first thing I did was take her back to Darkshire and continue questing. She does decent dps and I didn't pull off her hardly at all. This is impressive as at lvl 25, I dont have MD yet. I also don't do a whole lot of damage yet either! Her combat animations are lots of biting some lunging and occasionally she'll get low to the ground in her "I mean business" pose. She does lots of yelping and growiling during combat which I love. I love talkative pets!
Image

Her idle aminations are some scratching, sniffing, and bobbing up and down. She's pretty active when idle and I like that.
Image

My favorite thing about her is the way she runs. She looks so happy (even with the perma snarl) and she does these bounces and jumps that are adorable.
Image

I wandered around the inn to see if there were any spots to take some ss's. When we ran into the room upstairs the first thing she did was hop up on the bed and turn herself around like this. I didn't have to pose her at all. So I made her stay and hoped up to take a shot. Apparantly all dog's love beds! It reminds me of my non-pixelated dog the way he hops into bed and stands on it waiting for me to get in so he can snuggle up beside me. How cute!!
Image

While there were some really cute things about Ayla there were also some things I just couldn't stand. For one, she is so 2d and very dated looking. Wolves are one of the best most iconic hunter pets, probably second to cats, and for their models to be so terrible is just sad. All the wolf models need some serious tlc from their dev's. Anyways! From the front she looks cute, white, and pretty! But it you look at her from the top or back she looks like she has some sort of mangy skin condition. It looks terrible and it's stuck in my mind making it a deal breaker for running with a white wolf. I love the sounds and movements of the wolves as opposed to the stiffness of worgs but thier models are just too lacking for me. Here are some ss's from the front...pretty and cute...and the top...gross bald skin and mangyness:
ImageImage

Wolves, with their 5% crit buff make them a necessity for every hunter's stables. It's too bad they're all so rough looking. Running with the white mangy Ayla, as cute as she was at times, made me want to try out one of the darker ones and see how we click. I tamed a black worg I came across while questing with Ayla and named her Akela. I'll see how we click until I'm able to tame one of the saber wolves, my favorite wolf model.
Image

So while there were some really cute things about Ayla, her model needs a lot of updating and tlc from Blizz. I love the idea of a white wolf so hopefully Blizz can make them as noble and beautiful as they deserve to be. Till then Ayla was released to go run around and sniff stuff to her heart's content! Maybe we'll meet up later!

They would go out if I had the time. I do have this thing called real life (mostly work) that gets in the way from time to time. ;) I was also waiting for other people to present reports so I could do a bunch of rolls all at one time since they take a pretty big chunk of time to do.

I apologize if that comes off a little snippy, but they've upped my hours at work and it's exhausting. I'm still trying to finish getting over a cold and I have this huge sore in my mouth that won't stop hurting. I just haven't really felt like logging in to do these yet in my spare time.

Animations: Quite boring, flap...flap...FLAPFLAPFLAP

Model: I didn't really notice any obvious flaws.

Skin: The flesh color with the green is just...bleh.

Sound Effects: Good for people who like quiet pets. Not a sound when hovering by your side, a couple of odd noises I cannot describe in combat.

Tanking: Not the best...but then again it's ferocity.

Dps: It's alright, but I'd take a cat or wolf instead if I wanted to do a dungeon.

Special Ability: Probably useful, but I didn't use it.

Utility: I guess they can be useful, but i'd take a cat or a wolf over this any day.

Roll me again! :D
