So just saw a story on the news of a man buying what he thought was a poodle puppy but it was in fact a ferret on steroids

I giggled so hard. It's just so crazy.

Today has been one of the greatest days of my entire life and I can't stop crying. Maybe some of you remember this thread:
http://forums.wow-petopia.com/viewtopic ... 34&t=20187
If you didn't see it before, basically, almost two years ago now, my cat Poppy went missing. Today, a vet contacted my mother via Facebook, it was a complete coincidence that she'd seen her name. Poppy is alive. Someone had found her, taken her in and when at the vet, she'd scanned her for a micro-chip. She found my mother's name on it but our old address, so she couldn't get into contact with us. But she had seen my mother's name on Facebook... and now I know where my cat is. For two years she's been no more than a ten minute drive from our house.
I can't begin to explain how happy I am. I don't know if this lady will let us have her back now that she's been adopted, but for now I'm just so, so happy she's alive and well.
Edit: In my grandmother's face who kept trying to convince me I'd never see her again. Fuck you, seriously, old bat. I *never* gave up hope. Not even for a second. And look where it got me! I knew I'd see her again one day. And no, I haven't seen her yet, but it'd be rude of the woman who's looking after her right now to deny me of even seeing her once more. I really hope we can get her back, though it might be hard for my mum since we have three cats now, four including Poppy. Also... the woman who took her in called her Nancy... WTF. -____-

Wow, Snowy, that's some amazing luck. I'm so, so glad that Poppy is okay. <3 I can't say I would have kept my hopes up for that long.
Edit- got a chance to get the Realm First kill of Nalak. Easiest world boss ever, and apparently a generous one; I got a PvP necklace and 522 gloves. Too bad I don't PvP and I don't want to use the gloves until I have another piece of the set. >.>Stiil, nice to know he's not a pain like Oondasta, definitely farming Nalak for the mount!

I'm going to see her today! I don't know if I can have her back though... My mum went to see her earlier when I was at uni, she put a picture on Facebook... I burst into tears the second I saw the photo... I can't believe that's my cat... I'm going to see her in a few hours. I'm so excited but so nervous... The woman who's looking after her loves her a lot, apparently. But I want her back. :/

I don't know what to do... I'm happy she's alive and well but I want her back... But I feel it might be best for her to stay with the woman who's looked after her and loved her for a year and a half now. She saved my cat from certain death, she took her in when she was basically on death's door. And now I've seen her, I didn't want to let her go. I'm happy she's alive and I was even happier to see her, but I burst into tears and just kinda stared at her for a moment when I walked through the door. I just couldn't believe it. The woman said I could visit whenever I wanted to if she kept her but... I don't know... Frankly, I wouldn't see her often anyway. I don't live with my mum anymore and I can't have pets in student accommodation so I'd probably see her just as often anyway. But I don't want to give her up either way, and I don't think my mum does either...

SHE'S HOME SHE'S HOME SHE'S HOME SHE'S HOME EEEEEEEEEEEE
She looks like such a melon! I swear that during July while I'm home I'm putting her straight on a diet.

She used to be such a dainty and photogenic kitty! See...
But frankly I'm just so happy to have her home. I'll probably go home next weekend to see her. I wish I could this weekend but sadly I have plans and it's a bit late to change them!

Thank you Lupis. <3 I actually managed to get home for tonight thanks to my mum who realised just how much I wanted to see her. Sorry for spamming about my cat guys but I really still can't believe it. (:
