After seeing it mentioned here that hatchlings were down under 10kt I was kind of surprised that the little male I had on the AH sold for 15kt; I thought I was going to have to relist him so I guess it's just a waiting game now to get babies to sell. I would think that if they have decent colors they should still go for over 10kt (I personally think 50-60kt on white and obsidian primaries for starter breeds is absurdly expensive; I paid way, way less than that for the white gal and obsidian boy I have, but I did get them from Petopians as well).

i made a suggestion where you would get 15k for exhalting your dragons thus stabilizing the market... but ppl been shooting it down...

still i think its a good idea... i hate the idea that i have 2 eggs and maybe only will make 20k... LONG LONG LONG way cause the breed/gene scrools are too expensive with the hathcling being so cheap

Well, I haven't seen any hatchlings for under 12kt. Which is low, but not 8kt.

I just wish the cooldowns for -everything- wasn't so farking long. I know they're doing it to spread out hatchling 'dumps' and keep people revisiting the site (for more revenue) but it's aggravating to me personally. Especially since you have to wait like a week -after- a hatchling has grown up (which takes a week) before they're breedable.

idd i think the cd for normal breeds should be 7 days and special 14days (maybe 3 weeks?)

Tarn - I'd even be happy with 10K, because it won't stop people from trying to sell their hatchlings first to see if they can get someone to fall in love with them. But if they don't sell for x amount of days, and you really don't want the dragon either, it's still worth exalting them, although worth less than selling one to another user. I also really don't understand why other users don't like the idea, I mean are they happy that their own babies won't sell and even their special breeds and special genes will eventually go for peanuts? I saw a dragon with speckle gene and eye spots going for 40K a few days ago. That's simply not worth it for the amount of money you put into making the parents special, even if the dragon was a hideous orange and pink combo. Unsurprisingly it also sold within the hour.

Same Tyger, I am very glad my three purchased obsidians went for less than 35K each, because although I really love black and wish to have a mainly black lair I am not going to be paying absurd prices like that unless there's something pretty damn special about the dragon that I can't resist. Like tiger stripes. But nobody is selling those for only 60K of course.

But woot. Boreas and Tornado had their first clutch, a cloudy pair of girls.

I'll probably keep the platinum tundra... not too sure about the guardian though. She does look like a gathering stormcloud though.

the dragon i gave my daugther grew up

shes very happy about him

and she had her first batch of hatchlings.. shes very unhappy that there are no pinks or puple among them; i post them in the sale and trades incase some of you think they are lovely

Holy cow, I cannot believe that I got lucky two days in a row. Yesterday I got a light egg from scavenging and today I got a lightning egg and out popped this pink little beauty.

Gurthok is still homely as an old boot, but I've checked his offspring possibilities with my females and actually, he promises to make some pretty babies, which is why I've kept him.

Uh.... Is anyone else having a sudden problem of the page not loading at all for FR? It just stays white. I can't get it to load. :/

Haha, yeah, she turned out super lovely, I love her blood-colored wings. Now if I can just keep her from making Pink Horrors I'm set.

The person who was supposed to buy my lightning egg didn't end up sending anything in response, so I just ended up hatching it. Another mirror male? They must like me.

I'm not sure if I like him, though.
