Banthalos is up
Banthalos is up
At the time I was helping a new friend camp a very stubborn Magria, and another friend of hers was there with us (let's call her Jules). Our camper-gal urged Jules to go get him. We waited at Mag's spawn point for almost 10 minutes, and I finally decided to go check on Jules. She was panicking, no idea how to get him. I tried to get her into a tree; she couldn't. It is very tricky, after all. I pulled Ban for her, froze him in the tree until she could do it. ...What's this? Another hunter! She landed on the cliffs near by and shot him, I still have aggro, and he kills me, and she's pulled him away! Argh! ...No freeze trap? lol. Nuked. Ban resets.
I rez on the tree, Jules gets in position on the cliff. Sets a trap. I pull Ban down, he hits my trap. I FD, she pulls him over, Concussive Shot, tames, he slowly went over, froze, and Jules had a birdy!
Then we went to our camper and had a little party. I don't know if she ever bagged Mags or not. I was exhausted and went to bed =(

Rehomed Deth. A friend was totally confused and had no clue how to get into Molten Front, so I told him to just do all the quests, which he did and finally got in. Deth was STILL up at this point (no one ever wants him), so he rushes over to tame him, only to be told Kirix is up. So he goes for Kirix first, thinking its going to be an easy tame. Boy, was he wrong. He died about 12 times even with my channel's advice and gave up, eventually deciding he'd just take Deth instead. Even after all that time, STILL no one had tried for Deth. Me, another RareCampers hunter, and some alliance friends helped him out on Deth because he really had no idea what he was doing. With all of us (the gnome helping was a DK and army of the dead drops his health FAST) he was able to tame Deth in about 5 minutes.
I told him that Deth is way better than Kirix and that if he really wanted a green spider he could just tame a baby. He was happy with his "purple people eater" (star's words) and was excited to hear how much more rare Deth is than Kirix. So he got his first ever MF rare in Deth'tilac. He still hasn't named it. "Spider" is just running around MF. -.-

Just got a whisper from a hunter friend notifying me that Terrorpene was up, was sat camping Skarr so not to much of a long run, flaming turtle pet to join my merry band of misfits

Still no damn Skarr though. Had a random check on Madexx and nothing there either.
Just gained some Karma, saw a hunter trying to tame Karkin, was about to kill him with the fireball tame stun until i charged in and silenced.

Rehomed a Skarr!

While Kirix was murdering faces, I spotted a lone dot to the north - Why it was Skarr! Sitting on the rock as cheery as you please. So I called a friend over. Woot.

Rehomed Gondria. She was so happy. Said she'd been searching for Gondria for over a year. Here's a pic of the happy couple.

No pics, but I rehomed Loque earlier. He was just up as I did my typical "I'm bored" circles, so I whispered the first (only) hunter in the zone and she came and tamed. She was very happy, and had been looking for Loque for quite a while.

Rehomed Skitterflame to a NElf while on my NElf druid. He was having trouble, so I offered to root Skitter for him, explaining that if he's rooted, you can tame him right off and don't even have to worry about traps/slowing. So he pulled with concuss, I rooted him, and he had Mister Big Red 10 seconds later. He tried to pay me. I declined. I wasn't even out there to help, just saw him trying and failing at Skitter (I gave him a few chances to do the challenge on his own, since some would rather try it on their own than get a freebie) then offered to root. He was very pleased with his red spider.
Edit: Also rehomed an Ankha on my NElf druid. A worgen hunter kept dying and failing (fully clothed), so I whispered him and told him he had to be naked. As soon as he stripped, he tamed her without even going below half health and was super happy and thanked me profusely. Another worgen hunter started cussing the little worgen who'd tamed Ankha out in general saying he stole his pet. Well...if it was "his" pet, why wasn't he taming it? I followed Ankha around for 20 minutes trying to get her a home, and did not even see him try for her. I did see a tauren warrior in full T12 try and kill her. Lets just say...1 shot. And butthurt worgen hunter got torn into by general chat for acting like a baby and saying the pet belonged to him even though he was nowhere near her. So grats, Mr Lucky Worgen dude who happened to be in the right place at the right time.

Im shaking right now, Thraxas logged in and i know hes after Krush so i ask him to not kill Loque if he sees him. Guess what? I thought Thrax was being funny when "Rare Seen: Loque'nahak (cache)" so i was gonna be like har har har but then it said "Rare Seen: Loque'nahak (target)".
I flipped out in my chair (didnt flip in guild tho

i leave my extreme reactions for my cat to see

) and im a damn half bar away from 76, but i remembered i had dungeon quests finished so i handed them in, Thrax summoned me, and now i have Loque!!! And guess what!?!?!? He found King Krush moments later and now we both have our desired Sholazar rares!!!!! I had hearthed so no screenie of Krush but heres Loque and a photobomb my SilverDragon and half of Thraxas' pet Skoll rofl

Somehow, a lvl 85 NElf hunter was dying while trying to tame a green Madexx in Uldum. I was doing flybys looking for camel statues and saw this poor hunter somehow dying to a non elite while trying to tame. He kept breaking his own trap and standing in poison. So I fly down and drop a trap and the poor guy finally tames greenie. The NElf was at about 10% health at this point. He /thanked me and flew away with his new green friend.
Also rehomed Gondria by telling a lvl 78 hunter questing in the area that she was up. She was happy to get her first spirit beast on her lowbie hunter.

Well.... wow. I had no trouble taming the red one with no traps and even standing in the poison. Maybe he wasn't wearing enough armor or had really bad lag.

So i've just returned to the firelands from SW to start camping Skarr again. I see one of my fellow hunter friends and we start showing eachother our newest tames and what were camping for, him Karkin, me Skarr. I quickly flick my mouse over my minimap without really paying attention. see one little red dot which makes my eyes roll. Charge over there, tame, silence, detter, retame. Boom. New awesome kitty for me. Named it Guen after Drizzt Do'urdens panther because it reminds me of that alot

Forever a Rehomer.
Today was the fourth time I saw Deth up, already being kited around to be tamed.
So I'm always helping someone else tame him...and never a chance to tame him myself.
They've all offered to help...but that doesn't do me much good if someone else is there first.
Not that I'm complaining...I mean, he's being tamed rather than outright killed but I want a purple people eater too.

Saw Skarr up, tell Rarecampers, this guy is super excited and begs me to "hold" Skarr for him. All I did was stop a shadow priest from killing him by telling him he drops nothing. You can't really HOLD pets.
He got his Skarr though. He wants to name it Facepwner... =/

Not so much a rehome, but instead it was a "watch and give a tip"...
Skitterflame was up again, and only two people were interested in him. One was a warlock who tried to kill him twice but failed, and the other was a worgen hunter. The hunter failed three times at trying to tame him. One attempt nearly cost Skitter his life cause his energy bar reached 1.... was a close call but the worgen died and he reset. The final attempt I told him to scare beast and see if that would work while taming. It did, so its not hotfixed yet, and I will say he did use two traps, yet the buff hadn't worn off. (He threw down a third trap, but thankfully Skitter was scared otherwise that one would have killed him for sure) And then he tamed him successfully. He was pretty happy about it too.

I was lvling up my mage and I seen Arcturis up. So I asked in guild if someone could ask in SW if any Hunter wanted him. So I got a reply from this very eager hunter who had been looking for him, she got the tame off and and told me she was also looking for Skoll and Loque'nahak. So I keep doing my thing and I come up to Skolls spawn point and he is there, so I message the same hunter and she tamed him as well. So the next day I see Arcturis up again, I couldn't find anyone to tame him so I just left him there and went on with my way.
I get to Shozlar basin via questing and the Hunter I helped before sends me a messages asking me if I have see Loq. I told her I just got to the basin but I will go check to see if he is up. So sure enough I get to one of the last spawn spots and he is there waiting to be tamed. I quickly send the hunter a message and she is freaking out. So I ported to SW and ported her to Dal, then I got her to follow me to the quickest possible route to basin when the horde are controlling Wintergrasp. I brought her to where he was and she was able to tame him as well. So overall I made one Hunter pretty darn happy!

Helped rehome Magria. A guy who was mad at some other guy in rarecampers for "stealing" Magria earlier today was on, so I went out of my way to ask him first before any one else. Sure he was a bit childish when he accused the other person of stealing his tame, but the other person was being childish and bragging about how he got Magria sooo easy and how I helped him (I did, I didn't know he was gonna be a douche about it to someone else who really wanted her). I felt bad for the person who really wanted Magria, she set off my alarm, so I whispered him instead of telling the channel directly. He knew how to tame her and stripped naked, started his tame, then a notorious alliance dick hunter appears and shoots Magria, interrupting his tame (hilariously killing the fully armored ally dick) she went back to my friend, but he was so low on health that Mags killed him too. I mass rezzed him, hoping he'd beat dickface to the tame. I stripped naked as well, fully intending to interrupt ally dick's tame if he tried to tame her, but not planning on getting one shot.
Fortunately, my friend beat dickhead to Magria and finished the tame before he could shoot her again. He had to be settled with spamming /spit on my friend. IMO, that emote should be removed from the game. It is so disrespectful. I'd rather be /rude or teabagged 1000 times than spit on once. It just offends me on so many levels. Either way, the ally died hilariously and my friend got a new blue kitty friend.

So this morning when flying over to do my Molten dailies, my NPCscanner went off saying Anhka was up. I had just tamed her the other day so I did a search for fellow Horde that might want her. I only got one response but sadly they where phased because they had not finished the last few Hyjal quests. D: So I ended up seeing a Worgen hunter who I had met a few days ago who is really nice. So I quickly made a Ally toon and pst him to see if he wanted him. He already had him so I did a /who hunter for the Alliance and found a hunter and told them to meet me in Hyjal and I would be on my toon. They agreed. Tame went very well
http://i54.tinypic.com/xm5uls.jpg
So then about 10 mins later the Horde hunter had finally finished the last few quests and had phased where I could see him. Like as soon as that happened Ban'thalos spawned above us. xD I was like, well you want him for now? xD He was really excited so I showed him how to get on the tree, lay the trap and tame. Everything went very well and he got his Ban'thalos.

Also got a guildie Sambas yesterday morning. I told him about him and he was interested. Told him we might see him since I have dumb luck with Sambas. Get there and Sambas was just walking around minding his own business. xD God I just wish I had that luck with TLPD or these mounts I have been farming for in dungeons. lol

Rehomed a red Madexx, Sambas and Deht'tilac on SWC. Although poor Madexx will probably grow old in the stable. But, better than being killed by a lvl 83 something for a quest!!
