Bahahaha got the Black Drake on my second try. The first time I lost the roll by two, the second time just now I won with a 98!

Woohoo new shiny avatar/signature! The other one was nice, like I really liked how it came out, but it bothered me cause it was too large.

I'm like... super-duper OCD about some of the craziest things. My posts on this forum have to look purdy and nice, that's why I center my font and stuff. I would add colour like I used to but I realised that when I get a different 'theme' for my signature and stuff, the font on older posts don't match and... yeah. xD

Since my stable was packed full of cats I never used, I decided it was time for me to have a bit more variety in my pets. So I looked at every single pet species in order of how they were listed here on Petopia and made a list of the pets I would like to tame. I'm going down the list from there, starting with...

Gemma, the Emerald Skytalon.

I've never been too fond of pets and mounts that can't land but something has always interested me about these birds. I'm not even sure if they're actual birds, elementals maybe? But they also have a very subtle hint of one of my favourite colour combos, green and purple. Green and purple is the reason I've always liked the Phosphorescent Stone Drake and Gezzarak the Huntress so much. Gemma's original name was going to be Jade but it wouldn't let me have that for some reason. Then looked up Latin words and found that Gemma means 'jewel' or 'gemstone' and this seemed to fit perfectly.



[Oh and I also finally got the Darkmoon Dancing Bear today but no screenshot since I don't like that mount at all rofl. Me no like 'silly' mounts.]

And here's my new companion, Caramel! I had her a while back because I just adored her colours, the light yellow and pink just seem to fit together so well and create such an eye-catching mix. I went to re-tame her and by heck was it a challenge. The first time I tamed her was after a wipe in Zul'Aman so I simply ran back to where the dragonhawks and the tamers were and I carefully placed my traps so that I could grab one. This time though I had to sneak in all by myself and be very careful, took me a while to get to where I wanted! And after a few trial and errors I finally grabbed back my pretty girl! I honestly have no idea why her name is Caramel though. The name just... came to me. Apparently something about her reminds me of caramel? *Shrug*

So this afternoon I went to tame my second companion - Saphira the ice serpent. I was quite stuck between taming the blue or the black and white version but in the end my heart won over to the blue wind serpent. And she reminded me so much of Saphira from the Inheritance Cycle (No I haven't read Brisingr or Inheritance yet so don't spoil it for me. xD) that I just had to name her after her.

Thank you! 22 pets left to go, 16 of them are rare oh god. xD And hrm I really need new transmog gear, as much as I like the level 70 PvP stuff it's getting ooooold.

My signature isn't intended to be depressing or anything. I just... miss her. A lot. Tyvm to the Fox and the Hound for the song that got me in so many tears last night.

And thank you to The Hunger Games for being AMAZING and giving me the inspiration to finally give Chaoyll a proper name! For ages now I didn't feel Chaoyll properly suited my hunter since it doesn't sound very blood elf-y and Chaoyll/Chao has been my nickname for over six years now - Chaoyll is 'me', not any of my characters. So after a bit of thinking I thought Everdeen sounded like a more blood elf-suitable name. And HOLY CRAP IT WASN'T ACTUALLY TAKEN ON MY REALM. Lol I was so shocked, I didn't expect it to be free. So I snatched it up right away. And I checked for Katniss too, just in case, it was taken and apparently there's 229 characters called Katniss already... and that's only on the European realms. xD

Decided to move my pet-hunting stuff into the 'show & tell' section, like I should have done before, haha.
