Well take this, since the actual reset didn't happen. His timer would be sometime ...lets see. If he spawns at 72 hours on the dot. So normally its, what, (this is for US) friday at noon server then again monday noon then next would be thurs at noon next being sunday noon. That's only if he's been spawning on the dot and being killed on the dot. x: (72 hours is 3 days if that helps)

Okay so server *resets* will reset the timer as well, but server *restarts* won't reset it? Oh god wat. xD

Supposedly that is the theory. Resets (maint) cause all the rares to have their timers set to 0 as if it was just killed when they come online, and restarts don't change a thing...the timer keeps ticking away as if nothing happened.

Well I never saw him spawn after a restart but I was probably just not online when he did since I am forever chained down with parent controls. QQ moar. I have seen some good proof of him spawning some time after Mobus though. A friend mailed me saying Mobus had been downed in the AM and I got my seahorse a few hours later. Others who have camped have had the same thing happen and from time to time a see a new poseidus in the AH a few hours after npc scan finds Mobus. From what I gathered from fellow campers; (The ones who were kind enough to not ignore me) they have all see him spawn early Saturday morning (4-6am) to mid Saturday afternoon. Makes sense since he rarely spawns right on the 72h mark.

P.S If we were on the same server I would totally help you look for camel figurines meggs!

Someone suggested to me that I should hide behind the statue myself and let the pet stay on the side facing the main room when soloing Kael.

I quickly agreed that this was genius.

/facepalm why did i not try this? >.< have you done it like that yet? I always have problems getting my pet to not bug out on the wall when I send him behind the statue.

I haven't yet, since I heard about it after I banged up my wrist and it is not quite...feeling up to that level of clicking about. I think I'd be a lot less likely to bug out on the wall than my pet though! Only trick would be getting Kael to come to the pet.

Hmm yeah getting him to come down from the stairs so you can actualy los him without having to do a tone of risky running back and forth would be hard.

Well I have been chilling in deepholm all week now. I leave more often then I would like since I have guild raids, tk/ony/maly kills and then have to help guildies do their mount runs since a lot of them are too squishy to do it themselves. =P but they have bee very considerate of my camp time and leave me be for the most part and wish me luck.

It looks like I am going to be doing the same thing I did when camping my seahorse but instead of giving out tons of gnome hats I will be giving out jadefang pets/tames since I can reach him as a whisp. Already got the companion for my druid and a guildie :=) come on good karma come and get me!

Good news: there are hardly any campers! I can also keep myself buys by writing stories, playing on dragon cave, watching movies ect ect. Something I didn’t do until the very end of my TLPD camp. >.< its helped time pass much quicker then in previous camps since I can just stay in one place and do a lap around the pillar every now and then so I don’t go afk.

Bad news: I have found NOTHING. A full week of camping and I haven’t even had the luck to find Bloodseeker. >.< It would be nice to find something now and then so that I knew I was free to go do other things for a bit. Also even though only a handful of the campers I have seen have had the willpower to hang around for more then thirty minuets, they are all rather rude. They aren’t too talkative and like to camp right on top of me even though they know I was there first and they wont move. >_> I hope I can be lucky enough to tame Bloodseeker so I can use him to keep the rude campers off my spot. xD

I know reading is the only thing that helped me camp Aeo, if I couldn't do that...I wouldn't have done the camp.

Good luck with that, since I'm not sure if you can reach it from any of the places to stand on nearish where it would spawn. XD

taming it would be hard but there are a few spots i could probably drag him. I think he still despawns way too fast though but i would accept the challenge and give it a try. xD
