Big ol cranky butts.

Exactly! I'm from the South and I have a soft spot for Snapping Turtles, even if they are mean things. I had one as a kid for years until he (she?) got too big for his tank. I let him loose at my grandmother's house and his grumpy old self is STILL out there and huge.

D'aww, I adore alligator snapping turtles! Actually our current Vanilla turtles have always reminded me of them with their spiked shell and tails.

I love aligator snapping turtles <3 i care for the ones at the zoo and personally they're sweethearts, so long of course as you dont piss them off or try to handle their legs or around their faces.
However. Common Snapping Turtles are a whole different ball game. Much, much more dangerous. Their necks can let them stretch their mouth across half their body and in every direction except underneath them so you gotta hold them by the tail (which hurts and hard to get a good grip on, thick bony spikes running down the length of it) and carry them with their underbelly facing your leg. They also will actively pursue you. They do reasonably well on cement. Chased my teacher around a bit while he tried to get the turtle in a proper position for me to grab (he was training me how to approach and pick snapping turtles up).
Now, aheam.. KOI PEOPLE???????
I cannot stop thinking about the episode of Family Guy with the merman who saved Louis' wife and wanted to have sex with her.. I just.. i cannot stop thinking about that.
And living the lip rings on the yak people! They uh, kinda scare me tho..
I like the Mogu, they look pretty neat. Strange, but i dont oppose to them.
Its just the Koi people that are weirding me out. I did not want all these akward images in my head XD Its bad that i even have akward images to begin with *runs around in circles*

The Koi dudes where some of the first races they released if I'm correct. There at war with the Monkey people. Horde allies with Monkeys alliance Kois.

I'll never be able to look at the Jinyu without thinking they are Zoras from the Zelda series.

Zora weird me out, except for the females in twilight princess. They look more natural, the ones in ocarina of time and majora's mask creep me out sooooo muuuch.
I soooooo gonna be sitting in their town or village or whatever if they get one and just watch them
Were they really one of the few races first shown? I dont remember o.O

Yup. I'll google a Zora as I don't play Zelda games. I think in the jade forest one of the alliance towns is one of their villages or something.

Thanks for these, Wain! I particularly like the brown tiger, the snapping turtles (DO WANT, may even place my ol' faithful beetle if these guys are tameable turtles!) and the black cloud serpent. I'd LOVE to see those tameable, but of course they'll probably not be.
I had to drag the two orange tigers into PSP9 and overlay them, and switch the layers back & forth to see the difference (eyes/nose)--very subtle!

Hurr, the yak men weird me out...cause afaik we get yak mounts.
So.
Weird.
I recall someone cracking a joke about them like a yak man would say this to someone on the yak mount "Hey! Get off my sister!!" XDD

We already have them as a player race though!

It kind of bothers me we haven't seen a female of the jinyu as of yet. Maybe they're all androgynous?

Blizzard doesn't seem to like making female copies of the "bad guys" a lot of the time.

Well seeing as they are fish they most likely don't look differnt from males. Most fish don't and it would be werid if they had breasts or something. Why would an egg laying race need breasts?

Kinda disappointed in the lack of new skeletons. It's very obvious that the jinyu are male night elves, the mogu are male draenei and yaunka... I think it's obvious enough.
Also, yaunka? Like... taunka..? Really Blizz? Lost some inspiration there much?

Yes but they are not natural they are mutants. They are most likely a throw back to their elf ancesters like how humans have appendix's. But I'm putting to much thought on this anit I? XD
