Steve, Luci and Cypress - Northern Forest

Steve lifted his head when the vaporeon returned. "Oh, hello again. You know...I had not thought of that." He answered.

"Oh! She's right Horns! The others could be at that tower!" Luci piped up, rising from Cypress for a moment, only to land on one his leaves.

"Where is this tower?" Steve asked.

Foresight- Ecruteak

Foresight had almost drifted off when a pokemon clung to him, having been rejected by every other ho-oh thing in the room. He yelped, scrambling to his feet. The Pokemon retreated, starting to cry. He sighed. That was not what he had in mind. He flattened his ears, frustrated and exhausted.

Catharsis - Ecruteak

the Yveltal-Blessed Ninetales hesitated as she gazed over at the tower from where she was still concealed within the undergrowth of the surrounding forest. A few moments passed before she shook her head and threw all caution to the wind as she padded up to the tower's entrance, before calling as loudly as she could.

"Excuse me! I need to talk with someone! It's important!" She winced, a growl of pain leaving her as she felt another of those Arceusdamned headaches caused by him trying to wrench control back from her. "Please!!"

Ghost Girl - Ecruteak

Ghost let out a sigh of relief as some of the Pokemon let her go, but her relief was short-lived as they started to panic again. "Giratina take me now. Can just like.. Feed these things to like, the Legendary Beasts or something? Maybe Lugia?" That did it, of course, and the Wraitheon let out a loud groan as the refugees began to screech and shriek in panic.

Yet she paused as she managed to hear another voice over the panicked yelling. Turning, she spotted Catharsis nearby. Grumbling as she tried to maneuver past the refugees, she padded over to the Ninetales, forcing a smile. "Uh, hey. You need something?" She asked, having to raise her voice so she could be heard over the noise.

Catharsis - Ecruteak

'No! I will not give in!!!'

Catharsis was beginning to tremble, and she could barely make out that one of the Wraitheons was now standing in front of her, their question sounding slightly garbled to her currently frazzled senses.

"Not as.... they seem...!" A shriek left the kitsune as she collapsed to the ground, and she clamped both paws against the sides of her head, hard enough for the tips of her claws to dig into the skin through her fur. Anything, anything to help her with the struggle currently going on inside her mind.

Murkuro, Koishi and Kaname - Burned Tower

"Loud."
"Yes darling I know they're loud. There's nothing I can do to stop them."
"M-Maybe we should ask politely if they'd quiet down?"
"Unlikely. Stirred up."

Three Pokemon sat in a corner of the Burned Tower. A Marowak, with a wound on her arm, a Luvdisc in an orb of water and a nervous looking Swoobat.

"Should I ask them to heal your wound love?" Said the luvdisc, looking at the Marowak nervously. The marowak blushed under her mask.

"N-No. Not needed." She stuttered. The luvdisc only sighed.

"I wish I knew healing moves. I'd be able to help you Murkuro."

"H-hey, it seems like there's something going on outside." The Swoobat noted, floating above of the rest of the refugees. "Should I go check them out?"

"Unneeded Kaname." Replied Murkuro.

Solara
Burned Tower

Solara saw Catharsis collapse, and recognizing her, she leaped down from her perch, soaring down and using Morning Sun on the Yvetal-Blessed. "Hey, you okay?" She said, tilting her head and catching the tail end of her statement. The wraitheon scowled. Between Catharsis and what she heard, the Blessing had to be up to no good. There was no way this many people were all arguing against them. She looked over towards Ghost, tails lashing, then back at Catharsis, still using Morning Sun on her.

Ghost Girl - Burned Tower

Ghost blinked in surprise as Catharsis collapsed. "What in the..?" She returned Sol's look, then added her own healing to the other Wraitheon's.

Catharsis - Ecruteak

The combined healing energies allowed Catharsis to regain control, but she knew that it would only be for a short amount of time. She had to talk fast.

"I can't fight... for long..." She wheezed, waiting a moment before she stumbled rather drunkenly to her paws, all nine tails dragging limply on the ground behind her. "The Blessing are not as they appear. I-I... I've seen... things... These refugees have every right to be afraid..." She slowly raised her head, her senses still swimming a little, before she regarded both Wraitheons. "Thank you..."

The Pokemon that had woken him up slowly creeped back, and he let it stay. Soon enough, most of the shiny refugees were huddled around the champion. He gave a small sigh and resigned to his fate, the quiet sound of crying all around him as he drifted off.

((Ugh, I'll do something with Asher later. I don't want him hearing what Catharsis is saying, not right now anyway. Will figure out where to put him later on. Maybe he and Sphinx/Trick got sidetracked by something in the city proper.))

Venin and the Dumb-Dumbs - Northern Forest

"It's to the south, more or less." Venin replied with a nonchalant flick of her tail fin, padding a little closer to the six refugees, surprised to see them looking rather calm. Or at least less clingy and scared. Either way was fine with her, the less that ruddy aipom pilled at her fins, the better in her mind. "If you know where Ecruteak city is, it's sorta north-west of there. Big ol' burned tower. Home to a few stragglers normally, maybe a legendary or two. Can't say what's there now though.
"If you're going to be heading the same way..." She continued, a slightly calculating look on her muzzle. "We could travel together, assuming you're not allergic to eeveelution fur. You can help us to keep an eye on these guys, and if trouble rocks up Phantom and I can kick their asses. Sound fair?"

And once both groups were happy in their ruin of a building, she and Phantom could hopefully get back to not having to give a damn about others. There was a nice little babbling brook in their territory that she was missing something fierce. Some time to nap by that with the sun on her back, maybe with her paws dipped in the water? Heavenly, especially after all this nonsense.
Or maybe a trip to Kallos. She'd heard some interesting things about the region, and it'd be good to get out of Johto for a time while this Brouhaha nonsense was happening. Sneak about a human ship, maybe get into a couple of fights with uppity crew members. Yeah, that sounded great to her. She'd have to run the idea by Phantom later.

Solara, Forrestal
Burned Tower

The wraitheon nodded at Catharsis, growing solemn. "I'm not letting the Blessing take them back, then. But they can't stay here in the Tower. Maybe we can bring them to your home, northish of here? They can lay low there while we figure out this mess." Solara said with a shrug. "Either way, we've got to do something with them."

Forrestal flapped over, hovering over them. "I can bring them north. We need to start investigating into this Blessing thing immediately. If the Yvetal-Blessed is correct, we're going to need to dig deep and soon, in case they truly are a threat."

Catharsis - Burned Tower, Ecruteak

"I cannot go back, now that I have told you, but..." She clenched her teeth and shook her head hard, eyes squeezing shut as she tried to maintain control. She drew a shaky breath before she forced her eyes open, turning her blue gaze to them. "Th-there is much I still need to tell you, however, I-if I loose control again, I beg of you, restrain me by any means possible! I don't know how much longer I can hold him off...!"

Ghost Girl - Burned Tower

Ghost nodded, glancing at Forrestal, then looking back at Solara and Catharsis. "We should definitely get moving on figuring out what the Blessing guys are up to. I kinda wish we weren't right in our suspicions, but it looks like it turned out that way.." The Wraitheon's fur began to bristle a little at the Yveltal-Blessed's comment on 'losing control'. She wasn't sure she completely understood what that meant, but it sure didn't seem like a good thing.

Peter
Outskirts of Ecruteak

Peter had followed the group that left The Blessing's encampment to make sure everything had gone smoothly. Everything seemed to had gone perfectly until Catharsis had her little break down. A burning sensation rose from the depths of Peter's belly, and he wanted nothing more than to kill her right then and there. She betrayed them! She betrayed The Blessing! How could she do such a thing!? Peter shook his head and growled. He couldn't kill her, not yet. He then hopped from tree to tree away from the city and towards The Blessing's headquarters where he would relay the information to those above him.

The wraitheon really wasn't liking what was going on at all, and like Ghost, she was becoming uneasy. Catharsis' comment didn't exactly help alleviate that fear either. Still, whereas Ghost sounded a bit disappointed the Blessing wasn't truly innocent, Solara couldn't help but grin inwardly. She knew something was up! "Alright, we'll hear what you have to say. If something goes awry, Ghost and I can stop it. Forrest, you start taking the refugees and heading north, away from the tower, in case our friend here loses control."

Steve, Luci and Cypress - Northern Forest

"I think it would be for the best if we went together." Steve confessed to Venin. "My group and I don't know our way around here."

"HA!" Luci shouted contentedly.

Steve glared at her. "Besides, I think your little group is fond of me." He continued.

Solara (Forrest is kind of there too poor bastard)
Burned Tower

Trying to get all the refugees to follow Forrest hadn't exactly been easy. But eventually the Ho-Oh did manage to round them all up and convince them to follow him. The fact he was a legendary did help a bit. It was a good thing they left when they did. Solara had spent her time pacing the Tower, trying to figure out their next move, when she paused, hearing something going on outside. She tilted her head, ears pricked, and padded to the entrance where she heard the commotion. A mob of pokemon had formed outside, all gathering around the tower and making noise. Solara frowned at the sight of them, and ended up baring her teeth as the commotion got worse when they saw her. She could hear some of them shouting--calling her a murderer, a destroyer, slaughterer of innocent.

Well. It had been a long time since she was called that. The wraitheon wasn't sure how to react. She was almost positive it wasn't because she had been Dusk at least. Unless that got around. ...Maybe she oughta go get Ghost and Foresight. She retreated back into the Tower, the noise still barely audible. "Hey, Ghost! Did you do something to tick off the entire town recently? Just out of curiosity?"

Foresight flicked his ears up a little bit as he woke up. Something sounded wrong. And Sol hissed into the tower. "What's going on?" He asked groggily. He stood and padded over. It didn't feel like he had gotten much sleep, and he probably hadn't. His wings drooped and he couldn't help but yawn.

Venin and the Dumb-dumbs - Ecruteak/Burned Tower

Finally. It had been a long damn trip, but the addition of the the two bushes and a bug had helped out more than she'd care to admit. More people to keep an eye on the dumb things, or to calm them down when they got scared of one of the leaves in their path or some damn thing. She had a feeling that, if she and Phantom were still trying to deal with them by themselves, either they're be ripping each other's fur out, or there'd be six corpses hidden away in the forest discretely.
"Here we are." She said, a triumphant grin on her muzzle. "Burned Tower, place of refuge.... for angry mobs it seems."
There were quite a number of people crowded around the entrance, and from few words she could hear from where she was standing (at the edge of the forest), they were none too happy with the residents inside. Murderer was a word being thrown around a lot at the least.

Just absolutely friggin' perfect.

"Couldn't we be greeted with Arceus-damned ice cream and hugs for once?" She growled, her tail thrashing behind her in irritation. "I mean, it's not much to ask. We help a few things not die, we get ice cream, we go home and not have to deal with an angry mob and maybe some sort of Burned Tower Killer."
Still, whatever it was, it was serious. She half expected to see Buzzard fly out and start burning people, crying about how being under the control of a rage-virus was a good thing.
"I'm gonna see what's happening here." Venin turned her head to address the dumb-dumbs. "Stay here and keep hidden. Icefurface, make sure Loudbutt doesn't say anything."

With a look to Phantom, Steve, Luci and Cypress -silently asking if they wanted to come along- Venin loped down towards the burned tower. She slunk her way to the back of it, hoping to find a hole she could push through. Waltzing on through the front entrance while there were people screaming for blood seemed like an unwise decision to her.
There was something tickling her nose though, a scent or two that seemed familiar, but was different. Made her fur itch though, like a bad memory.
