It would appear Nef's screen shot is gone.

With the remastered edition coming out later this month, I've been thinking about this game a bit more. These have probably already been posted a few pages back, but I kinda miss both my ladies.
If I wasn't so snowed in on WoW right now, trying to level a priest so I can do dungeons with my hubster, I'd probably be playing Skyrim again.

I'm also sorry I haven't been posting around in this thread (especially since I, y'know, made the thread in the first place orz)
My gaming laptop's battery died (~$150+ to repair that I don't have ugh) and lately, Skyrim has been having a few crashing issues when I start it up. As in, it likes to crash my entire desktop lol :s with this being my only computer right now until I can get my laptop fixed, and with my desktop having the off-chance of refusing to start up if turned off, I haven't wanted to risk something like that happening again.
I do still lurk around and see all the posts when there's new ones though <3

I totally did not know a "remastered" version was coming out.
I have all the addons so from what I am reading it's free??? I play the pc version through Steam.

I *believe* you are understanding that correctly! I have the game on both PC and XBOX 360, so I'm unsure which platform I'll stick with. On one hand, I love mods. On the other hand, I love my couch, and they are planning on doing console mods a la Fallout 4. So, I'm torn.

Why not do both?
This is DEFINITELY going to make me play again. Supposedly by what I've read there are going to be new quests. I wonder what they'll be tied too. I might start completely over (again) depending.

Hmm, I thought I read somewhere that they said they weren't doing any additional storyline stuff. Unless there are
other other quests?

Regardless, it might be nice to see Skyrim with shiny graphics. Although, I kinda felt like it already looked pretty darned good on the PC.
This is the character that I probably won't even finish the main storyline on. Part of me wishes I hadn't even started the Dragonborn thing. I think she'd have been better off just being a vampire babe, hearing stories of a possible Dragonborn but not actually being the one. Oh well.

I think, for me, right now I may just not muck with it till the remastered update happens. I am really really considering starting completely over.

Dang. Already in that dragon plate too!!
FYI guys:
Yeah I'll be starting a whole new game.
Bethesda’s Todd Howard also confirms that Skyrim saves on PC should transfer to the new version of the game.
That’s obviously big for those that invested a ton of time in the open-world RPG. Unfortunately game saves will not transfer from Xbox 360 to Xbox One or PS3 to PS4.
A few other notes:
* Skyrim Special Edition will be its own entry in your game library (not a patch).
* There won’t be a Skyrim Special Edition Collector’s Edition released down the road. What you see is what you get.
* The game will be released in the languages supported by the original version of the game.
* You’ll be able to re-do trophies and achievements. For a list of Skyrim’s achievements, take a look at this long list.
* Digital pre-orders on the PlayStation Store will net you a Skyrim Dragon Symbol Theme.
* Don’t expect Bethesda to do a Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion remaster.
* Prima Games will re-release its Skyrim strategy guide for the Special Edition. The guides, both the physical and the e-guide, will be released on October 28th. You can also purchase these guides via the Bethesda Store.
* If you’re looking for a deal on the Skyrim Special Edition guide, take a look at Amazon’s offer.
* We still don’t know how big the file size will be. We expect to have the exact file size figured out much closer to the game’s release.
* The company won’t open up console commands on PS4 or Xbox One.
* Character creation will be the same as it was in the previous version.
* Skyrim Special Edition pre-orders are finally available on Xbox Live after a short delay. If you wish to order via the Xbox Live store, head right here to do so.
* The company notes that it will be supporting the new PlayStation 4 Pro with native 4K resolution.
We’ve been getting tons of questions about the Skyrim Special Edition PC spec requirements. Bethesda hasn’t confirmed the minimum or recommended specs just yet but the thinking is that they will be similar to the spec requirements for Fallout 4.
Here are the minimum Fallout 4 PC requirements:
Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required)
Intel Core i5-2300 2.8 GHz/AMD Phenom II X4 945 3.0 GHz or equivalent
8 GB RAM
30 GB free HDD space
NVIDIA GTX 550 Ti 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or equivalent
Here are the recommended Fallout 4 PC specs:
Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required)
Intel Core i7 4790 3.6 GHz/AMD FX-9590 4.7 GHz or equivalent
8 GB RAM
30 GB free HDD space
NVIDIA GTX 780 3GB/AMD Radeon R9 290X 4GB or equivalent
Look for the official Skyrim Special Edition specs to emerge soon.

Woot! I hope they don't change too much of the Kit, I like making my own mods like Nighteyes toggle and my Umbra-Touched Khajiit (they are all black fur color and have the Ebony Mail spell effect when they sneak)

And looking appropriately ferocious in that armor.
@zed: I am also torn. Part of me wants to continue my adventures. The other part of me wants to finally make a mage. Also, PC or XBOne? Waaaah I can't decide!

The funny thing is with that lady, she's a bosmer and thuss like half the size of everyone else.
