That explains that alot, also the Black/Purple Snapdragon Terrormaw has Tamable listed on it now but its only level 121 so wont be available until Shadowlands or until they make one spawn a level lower.

Porkchop and The Scrap King are still untamable.
Dreadfang is not tamable.

I think that it has had that data since 8.1 or something. Shame that it isn't tamable :/

Yep
i even went to check Spires of Arakk for the Riding Wyvern but its been so long since WoD i forgot it only spawns for Horde questing in there and its friendly to them, sad too cause i slaughtered their whole outpost to try and spawn them too xP

It doesn't look like Obnoticus on Mechagon (for the rocket chicken quest) or Deepclaw in Aszuna are up today, so still haven't confirmed those.

Oof. Makes me wonder why they made Rukhmar tameable then? People usually are waiting for that mount. They were when I tamed too. Feeling kinda bad now, ngl.

Speaking of which, has anyone checked Galleon or those Cloud Serpents that are classified as beasts for some reason?

Somebody on the secret finding discord claimed to have checked Galleon. Not tameable.

I seem to remember a conversation back in Legion as to why they might not work as a hunter pet. I think the model itself is composed of multiple separate parts, the tail isn't actually connected to the body, and I guess it's finagled together as the raid boss but as a tame it wouldn't be able to retain that functionality.
I could be misremembering but, I would really love to have them too, they're gorgeous models.

Yeah, they would have to either be specially managed or the parts would have to be attached, because otherwise upon taming them, they would just lose all the parts that are separated pasted on. Lol.

I *did* check the scorpions in Nighthold just to be safe, but yeah I recall them being made of several parts too. I suspect the only tameable things this hotfix are akin to what we’ve found: mobs existing and being changed to beast/flagged tameable. I love those scorpions too haha. Maybe we’ll see them again in the future.
Still a great patch for tames now though, wowww.
And I’d like to echo thanks to Wain/Valnaaros/everyone as well.

Considering they share the same basic framework, they'd probably scale similarly and do the same thing, yeah. Same for the N'Zoth lampreys.

Has anyone been able to tame Beast of Jade in the Greenstone Village scenario yet? I did manage to see it two times, but each time the Pandaren NPC just kept hitting it and keeping aggro away from me. I've been tempted to wait it out to see if the quilen can kill him, but it was late and I really needed to go to bed.
