Raaaandom curiosity: Does anyone know if an add-on exists like NPC Scan Overlay that does it for the rare hunter pet's paths?

I find myself enjoying helping other hunters find the pets, but a lot of the time, I'll lose sight of some of the harder to find tracks, and have no clue where to even begin looking again.

And constantly having to find the map for the pet tends to mean they're too far away to reliably look at it.

Not for the 'rares' of Pandaria because technically they're not labeled as rare.. They're just golden dragon elites with a short respawn.

Oh, I know NPC Scan Overlay doesn't have them.

Was asking if someone knew of another add-on like NPC Scan Overlay that does it.

NPC Scan Overlay sticks their pathing tracks on the map, it's not the same as NPC Scan that alerts you when you pass by a rare.

I was explaining why NPCScan Overlay doesn't have it. They stick to labeled rares. I haven't found an addon like that yet.

Wonder how hard it'd be to make an addon like that from pre-existing maps. xD

I'd have no idea. I dunno how to make addons like that.

This has probably been asked a couple of times already, but I'm going to ask again since I'm too lazy to read all of the posts in this thread; when is a good time to look for Loque'nahak? I've been hunting him for two months (or longer?) and I've tried about everything - going to Sholazar Basin and visit spawn points at random times, logging off at a spawn point and logging in again at random times, cruising around... hell, I've even tried camping. Still haven't got him. The method of randomly visiting and going to spawn points worked fine for Skoll (which only took three attempts, including him being killed by an Orc shaman on the first), but Loque seems to be taking the mickey out of me.

I will scope out my server every so often to see if I can catch him up. Send me a Btag invite so I can contact you in game if/when I see him. JaredKorry1232.

I am trying really hard to find Karoma, but I am on a hugely populated server:/

If anyone sees them on their server and wants to help out a fellow hunter my btag is Numbz#1921

Adding you now Our server is busy but I have had fantastic luck recently in off hours. I have also had 5 pets with me and seen rares and haven't been able to find a hunter who was interested.

Is Chiaa phased?

The hunter I tamed her on definitely has never done a single Burning Steppes quest, and I was able to see her just fine. So no, she shouldn't be phased unless something has changed since the release of the new rares.

Perhaps you aren't going high enough in the mountains to find her? She is quite large and obvious, so if you're in the right place and she's up, you can't miss her.

I've been trying and trying for sunwing but she gets killed in front of me every time she spawns..hate CRZ.

ok sense the CRZ started it been crazy to find rares.i used to now the times they spawned by heart and used this nolige to help others get there pets such as loque who a guilde has been wanting so bad.however the CRZ is messed up my campings.on to my hunt question.

anyone that shares a CRZ with muradin server know what times skoll has been spawning?last time i went for him it was usally around 8 i found him but i want to see if skoll is spawning at a different time now.

Anyone that has tamed Bombyx, knows if he still leaves a track of heavily chewed silkweed?
