Frida Kahlos (our chicken twins), you guys are DUMB. When an egg hatches, you don't bite the chick until it bleeds. That's bad. We now know to never let you two near chicks, lest you try and kill them again.

Happy thread, however, because we put the two chicks under one of our silkies and she took them in instantly, and it looks like their wounds (big bites on each cheek of both chicks, bloody and nasty) will heal up fine now that they're not being bitten.

I just started playing OFF a couple of hours ago, since it's been all over my dash on Tumblr lately and the art people do for it looks pretty interesting. I discovered very quickly that I'm an idiot who can't navigate repeating mazes to save her life, but WOW THIS IS COOL. I can't wait to start really putting things together about the world it's set in.

My son got an A on his high school freshman thesis paper and presentation.

Got accepted as a volunteer at the local humane society. Really happy about this as I haven't been able to find a job and this will atleast help keep me out of the house and for a good cause. It will also help in my therapy even though I'll mostly be working with animals, I will still have to deal with people. Hopefully I can handle the anxiety and not freak out. Not sure when I start as I just let them know my availability and areas I'd like to work.

Oh, that was... actually very nice. One of the stack campers who kept camo-d behind a tree ended up showing himself after I mounted my bat mount and showed off his bat too. Then we showed off all our mounts (we basically had exactly the same set of mounts) and emoted at each other for a while, and eventually he wished me /luck and flew off.

That made me very happy. I like people like that.

I just finsihed the Dragon lady quest. Whoo boy Rathian's are a pain. Once I got that tail cut off I hardly got poisoned anymore, must remember to get that off as soon as I can XD

I am happy that the toothache I had for almost a week is finally completely gone. I can sleep and talk and concentrate properly again!!

I was leveling an alt (who will probably become my main) in Arathi Highlands a few nights ago. Voice Chatting with a friend while I do, because we play our characters together and RP together and we VC all the time anyway.

I start humming "The Hills Are Alive" for some reason and she starts laughing because she'd just been thinking the lyrics in her head.

Arathi is always going to have that connotation, now.
