My boss decided to increase my hours from 12 to 24, may not be a lot but its sure helps take the stress off. On top of that he's going to let me do some legal research for cases, that has me super excited I LOVE research (yes I am that boring)

Holy crap, I'm making salmon like this more often. Adding tons of port = tons of flavor! Though I think piling the top of each piece with garlic and onion powder helped too.

Went to Lindsey Stirling's concert last night. I was superbly amazing!

She has such energy and passion for her music that it's just about palpable, and the music is just so... real. She (and the band) gave so much much it's a wonder there's still something left of them!

I must say her show ranks as one of my favorite concerts of all time, easily - it was an hour and some of music-induced euphoria! Today my ears are still ringing, my hands are sore from all the clapping, and the rest of my body is reminding me I am nowhere near as fit as she is  - all in all a great concert!

If you get a chance to see her live, don't miss out! If I could afford to I'd be heading over to Sydney for tonight's show too!

UGH I'M SO JEALOUS! Like.. did she play elements? Or shadows I think is the name. Those are two of my favorites!

Wish I could share the experience with you! And yeah, she played Elements, Shadows, Transcendence, Crystallize, Moon Trance, and several others, including the Zelda medley and the Skyrim theme. Some I heard for the very first time as I'd held off buying her album until I could get a real copy at the concert (and she signed it!!!), so I'm not sure of their names. I can't say enough good things about Lindsey though, she's just awesome, fantastic, immensely talented and skilled, dedicated, passionate, graceful, gracious and in general a great person - she could impose on me any day (if she even knew I existed).

I really hope you get to see her some time! I'm not sure she'll ever be back to Melbourne, especially since the crowds here are very, um, stationary. I don't get how anyone could stand still with her playing her music though! It's just so... engaging! Felt bad for her and the band giving so much on stage and getting so little back most of the time. Also felt a bit bad for getting her to sign my copy of her album at the end of the evening as she looked rather tired, but she did ask if anyone else wanted something signed, so... did I mention she's gracious?

I think I put the equivalent of a cup or more of cream sherry in that salmon fry pan. So worth it.
