Aye, I have. It's how I managed to get my Shiny Charmander. But it should be mentioned that even though it increases the chances of finding a Shiny, it is still a stupidly low chance to get it: 1/2048. Don't expect that just because you use the Masuda method that you'll get your shiny after a few eggs.

Or you could do as my brother did and farm Ghastlies for...er...

A ghastly army. >.>;

He wanted to fill an entire box with ghastlies in my Fire Red. He got about half way into the second row and found a shiny ghastly in the process before I wanted to restart Fire Red. Don't worry, the ghastly was saved and sent to Leaf Green, as was my Charizard, legendaries, and anything else of interest.

Ah. Thanks for the info. And grats on the shiny Charmander.

Beat the Elite in Black version, and had a stressful gauntlet battle happen, faught and caught Reshiram, N healed me and then chellanged me to a battle with no chance to save...ok, beat him pretty easly, now save right? Nope, bit of dialogue and thrown into a battle agains Geechisu...good think I kept my 7 max revives because the fight was so tough I used them all as well as a good chunk of my full health potions...save now? nope....lots more dialogue then endcredits and the game finally gets saved!!! Whew! that was a pretty tough fight!

Now I can appearently go somewhere and transfer over pokemon from my SS(jp) game. Theres also the other half of the region to explore, trainers to fight, a lv 70 Ulgamoth to find and catch, as well as that awsome Ice/dragon. National dex aquired and now I can also find/catch prev-gen pokemon! Oh Flygon where are you?? *wonders off on a pokemon hunt*

Pokeshifter was not easy to figure out, especially since I can't read japanese!!! But after much tinkering I figured out how to do it...why cant I be this smart with everything else?
so, instead of catching the pokemon on the recieving game cartridge, you catch them via a bow n' ball method on the sending cartridge. In this case my SS-jp was sending pokemon to my Black-jp game. So I had to shoot pokeballs using a bow, at my pokemon and it only sends the pokemon I've managed to catch, and sends the rest back to my box. I also found out that I can send pokemon from my english games, over to my SS=jp version, so I am hoping to try and test this with a shiny Riaku or the celebi...see about getting my Zoroak :) I'll save that testing for tomorrow though. I am hoping that I'll be able to trade pokemon between my Black-jp and my Black-na in march, might make playing the game through a 3rd...4rth time more interesting.

I have been evil and must confess.

You see I told my cousin not to buy Black or White.

What it is is that he's always whining about the new Pokemon. And whenever he does I always tell him he doesn't have to catch the ones he doesn't like and use those he does for his active team. Play and get to the point in the game where he can go to the Wi-Fi club and trade for the older gens. Or just wait until someone comes up with a code to get the earlier Gens to play.

But since nothing sinks in and its getting tiring listening to him comparing the old to the new I just told him to not buy the games.

I am always missing you Felidire! Sucks that our nights/days are switched. It's been awhile since I've been able to battle anyone.

Arwyn, I didnt really like the new pokemon either, infact, there are A LOT that I've simply refused to catch, and others I thought I wouldnt like that have somehow wormed there way into my catch list.
Then again, there are still some pokemon from prev gens that I dont think should be pokemon *bidoofcough*

Tell that to the Dream World Bidoof. *Holds up a thread on Smogon about a battle where someone used an Inconsistant Bidoof to own a whole freakin' team*

(Warning: Incoming rant. None of this is really aimed at anyone here on the forums, just people in general who whine about this sort of thing.)

Also. Honestly, I couldn't care LESS what Pokemon it is, or how stupid it looks/is... It's STILL a Pokemon. No one really has any right to say it's not. From Bulbasaur to Genosect; They are all Pokemon. Some may not look 'Pokemon-like' or be as epic as some idiots want them to be, but they are still Pokemon. Nothing people who whine about it can do can change that. These Pokemon aren't making your life miserable, now are they? No. They are just creatures in a fricken GAME. So please, just suck it up and move on with your goddamn life.

Perhaps Bidoof has a surprising place on a team. (Although I call pics or it didn't happen)
But it and it's evolution are still the most derp pokemon in existance.

Yeah. I make it a point NEVER to have one on my team. I can't stand them. Just...ergh. They make me cringe.

Then again, I'm very choosy about my pokemon. They have to look neat. >.>;

Interesting....
I guess I don't hate Bidoof/Bibarel with the intense fury of a thousand suns, but it's just so... derp. I feel bad capturing and using one, like I'm forcing a sweet but ever so slightly brain damaged kid to go fight dragons, wolves and Anubis.
They do make very good HM slaves though. >.>

(By the way, completely not a slur against mentaly handicapped/brain damaged people in any way.)

What's so bad about it being derpy? That's the best part about it! That's what makes it adorable! <3

Though I may just be biased cause of the Bidoof character in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2... He's freakin' adorable <3 <3 <3

And.. Well, I hate the idea of HM slaves a lot. Never used one. Sure, I have a few Pokemon who I never use except for the occasional HM thing, but I'm not about to take a poor little Bidoof/Zigzagoon/Sentret/Rattata along with me for ONLY HMs. That and I like having a full team of battling Pokemon.

Same as Senna. Closest I ever got to an HM slave (I regret it to this day.) is my Charizard on Fire Red. He knew Fly, Strength, Cut, and Blast Burn. He was also the strongest of my pokemon. *tacklehugs Max.*

I'd rather balance out the HMs among my team. I have hit an issue with my Sapphire though...None of them can learn Surf, so I'll have to get a water type. Which means finding a new flying type for my wingull. So I may end up finding some Sapphire water type I like and pick up a skarmory.

Eh, I agree with that to a point. But at the same time I don't like feeling forced to surrender one or more slots of my pokemon's attack moveset *just* so I can progress in the game. Especially if the HM in question is one I'll never use in battle.
Like as not though, I only use a HM slave if I'm going into a place I expect to use those HMs, I keep a full team otherwise.

(Okay I'll stop posting up bidoof pics stop punching me owowow)

I usually have an HM slave that stays in the pokebox until I need to go somewhere I might have to use HM's. in my Black game though I did give my water starter Surf, since its also a very useful move, and my feathered Dino has Fly, which is a life saver!

I think the last pokemon movie I actually watched was the one with Jirachi-wish maker. There's a lot I havent seen, I should really catch up on them before the newest one comes out in NA.

As far as I remember, the only movie I have ever seen was the one with Mewtwo, years ago. I remember it rather well, with the evil clone things that were superpowered and fought against each other...

I think that was the very first pokemon movie! It was also the best movie (in my opinion) as it actually made me cry when they where all fighting. Even the very first episodes where full of heart & Soul. Ash standing infront of the swarm of spearow to protect pikachu who didnt like him one bit...And now they're the best of friends.

Sadly now, the pokemon episodes and movies seem to have lost that in the shear amount of mass production. Not to say they are not good, just not AS good as they use to be when pokemon was new.

Was watching some clips on youtube about the Deoxys movie...I want to train up a rayquaza now!!!! Love how they look on PBR, especially the Shiny version. Might have to make my Team based on Pokemon I like and disreguard the fact that some are "ubers" and "Legendaries"...Darnnit! So many pokemon to raise and train, and yet so little time!!!!!
