Woot! I am so happy for you! I had Hawkbane long ago, and never understood why they took him out with the patch.

Speaking of, anyone hit up nagrand and see if our old owl friends are back?

I can't wait for this patch to go live. And it took everything I had to keep from bursting into tears earlier. Unfortunately, I don't have the PTR, but I'd rather wait till this goes live so I'd be able to keep him. <3

*smiles* Thank you, it wouldn't have been possible without you guys rallying behind me like you did, though. And we have Noah to thank for him coming home, too. THANK YOU SO MUCH, NOAH~! The night before this goes live, first thing I'm doing is taking my butt out to Skettis and praying that he'll be there waiting for me as soon as realms go back up and I'm not gonna budge if he decides to play hard to get and not appear.

All that's needed now is the swarming guardian skin outside an instance (I'm not a dungeon crawler and am scared of large guilds) and I can die a happy hunter. But I know that'll never happen. XD

And the pic Senna posted of Hawkbane eating at the dead arakkoa really made me crack up. Poor guy's starving after being trapped in that cave then trapped in limbo for years.

I think he still has a ridiculously long spawn timer. Finally found where he's supposed to spawn, but he wasn't up.

Well, Hawkbane was thirsty, decided to trek down the mountain... and after a few years now he finally made it back up.

I didn't see a map (pardon if I missed it) and had a bit of a hard time finding the spawnpoint. It's behind Upper Veil Shi'lak if I'm not mistaken, behind some buildings (you'll know because there's a few neutral Skettis Kaliri clustered about the building).

Dunno if this is his ONLY spot, but hey

Indeed it is! Sorry I forgot to mention a location. I just flew around till I saw some dead Arakkoa... I guess cuz it's PTR it's pretty laggy, took a sec before Hawkbane loaded.

And yep, seems the only location, since I first checked his old cave and he wasn't there.

I missed Hawkbane the first time round, congratulations on everyone who's been wanting him for so long =) Might pick him up on another hunter ^^

I just now this very second saw him spawn in front of me! So ~6 1/2 hours.

He totally noms OCJ-style!

Oh gosh, I just hope he doesn't chew on any of the nearby houses. XD I'm cracking up at all these pics of him eating the dead arakkoa, but at the same time, he looks so adorable! And six and a half hours isn't too bad. Better than it being days. Oooh, 'nother pic...

This is....actually the first time I've ever seen Hawkbane in person. I forgot, since he's been so alive here!

Grats on your baby being one of only two mobs with this skin now - and the only one who is rare.

I think it's also very nice that, when they reinstated and moved him, they were able to illustrate why his name is Hawkbane.

I also give my thanks to that hunter as well, whoever they are! And though the frostsabers have this skin (I'm so happy about that upcoming change) this is pretty much full circle for those two cats since King B and Hawkbane both shared this skin back in the early days of BC as well, after all. ^_^
