*shrug* Maybe US servers are nicer than EU ones. I have to say that it would be a long shot to find a PUG on my servers (especially the Horde one *cringes at the very idea*) where people would be all happy about you coming in to tame something. They'd probably see it as a "huntard" thing and more of a distraction. You're lucky you're on a server with such understanding people.

But, this will probably degenerate into the "Special skins should only be for BM hunters, and what's more, hard to get"conversation, if I don't stop now, and it's not the place for it.

I would be happy if these became tameable in the patch, for the reasons stated in above posts. My two cents given. :D

I'm not gonna throw a hissy fit over it or nothin. Not THAT big of a fuss. But still....makes me sad at the thought.

Moon Guard, despite how many jackasses we have, does indeed have a ton of nice people and rpers.

*winces* I knew I shouldn't have posted here.

Taluwen, I've given it a lot of thought, and I'm going to have to decline joining. :/ For one thing, you told me Vent is required for raiding. I can't use Vent or voice chat at all. I just can't. The mere thought of it scares me like you wouldn't believe and I feel safer just using text. Also, every time I've been part of a guild, and this includes MMOs aside from this one, they've always, /always/ ended up falling apart in some manner, and I'd rather that not happen to yours. I feel like a jinx. Leveling Rhilla has also slowed considerably now because I'm playing her with my best friend, so if I ever get lucky enough to get the cat on anyone, it'll be Toph over on Shadow Council.

Also, there are people like Merlynshade (I'm sorry if I didn't spell that right) who haven't been having luck at all finding a group for Ulduar to get the cat there, so this may end up being their only chance to get it if the ones in ZG become tamable.

Had to let that out. Not having a good morning at all. I'm sorry for this exploding into what it has. -_-

We do require vent but I've told you...it's just for listening. You don't have to talk. It's just for raid instructions and is much easier than typing out the instructions. Our main tank uses vent but he couldnt talk til he got his mic fixed. Still, things went smoothly even though he couldnt talk. But anyway, if you change your mind, let me know. The offer is always available. :) My guild is a lot friendlier than you think.

Gotta keep trying to get a group together. Offer gold or something. You can 5-man the 10-man practically.

I can't even use it to listen, that's how uncomfortable it makes me. :/ It's appreciated but my answer's going to stay the same as it is because there's just too many things that could go wrong. PuGs are something I definitely can not do. I'm not comfortable around people I don't know at all. A friend of mine on Shadow Council may be helping me to get one soon, but if that doesn't go through then this will be a skin I'll have to admire from afar. And something absolutely crazy just happened to me, so I' starting to not mind about that now. @_@

Really, really not. Maybe on your realms, sure, but not on all of them. I try to find a pug or even a bloody guild doing the non level 85 raids like this and I get laughed at on my realm. And I'm sorry there is no way I could pay for a full pug to get me to where I need to go.

I'm sorry that its going to make yours less valuable-and I can understand the sentiment-I was pretty upset when my blue Madexx I spent weeks hunting was going to be a common mob there for awhile-but I don't think that the situations are the same. With Madexx it was a matter of camping him in one area-one area where everyone could get to. With the hunched black cats-they are not located in a place where anyone can get to them-I sure as heck know I've not been able to get to them alone-and trust me I've been trying for a group.

*shrug*

It is nice of you to offer to help others try to get there. Know anyone who can hit it in Garona?

Bah, nobody but people who rabidly foam at the mouth to raid or be jerks on my server these days. If I could I'd move most of my toons to another server-even if my brother would kill me for leaving him behind.

Maybe you could try getting a group of all hunters ? The first boss where everyone gets vehicles should be doable with all hunters, and so should the only other boss you need to defeat to get to the cat boss if I am not mistaken (nuke it). Everyone gets to tame when you get to the cat boss.

The shortest path to cat lady is through Flame Leviathan, XT, and Kologarn.

FL can be undermanned easily and by any composition of raid.

XT should be easy enough to nuke down - just push him to a heart phase and you won't even have to worry about the adds because he'll be dead before any reach him to heal him.

Kologarn shouldn't be too bad either, in theory, since you won't be alone and the arm that grabs people can be nuked if necessary to save the trapped.

The amount of trash is minimal - two packs before XT, a handful before Kologarn, and a couple of packs before engaging cat lady. The rest can be avoided/skipped.

Basically, yes. I think Kologarn is the 'hardest' part just due to his odd fight mechanics but overall, we like 5-manned all the way up to her practically.
