I love wind serpents. My favorite being Seiryu, my classic dark blue one.

Second is the riding/saber models of cats. My main has Rak'shiri (named Byakko - will have to change pets when Rak changes colors). My alt has Shadowclaw. I find that the riding models tend towards a fiercer attitude for the pets.

And third is Genbu, my ancient turtle (Gamoo-ra).

on any of my characters I always try to pick up the RidingSaberMount: Aqua (Rak'shiri), for my troll hunter i usually carry around Skoll or Arcturis... non exotic pet of choice would be the White Worg-- aka Ghost Howl/Timber/Death Howl/Alterac Wolf, worg, something..

Undead Hunter: Diseased Wolf ftw!

Worgen Hunter: Black Worg ftw! (my furs blacka dn i have blue eyes, black worgs also have black fur and blueish-grey eyes)

Dwarf Hunter: White bear ftw!

Tauren Hunter: Lions, shes a gorgeous red so she likes Araga (for female kitty) or just a regular barrens lion (for male kitty)... WTB Red skinned cats TT_TT

Edit: I totally forgot about whats coming in 4.1, ive always been in love with the Winterspring Huntress but i dont like the cat models, with the exception of the lions and im really excited to start running around with a pure white RidingSaberMount: White (and Ice, if i like that model... i dont have PTR so i cant see directly into the game)

Kyra has been with me longer than any other, and never leaves my side.

Nanaki, my Red hyena. We've been partners for I guess 3yrs now. We've been through so much together, and our bonds have been tried so many times, and despite it all, we're still buddies. from solo to raiding, he's alsays buy my side, happily grinning as he rips things to shreds. Patting happily back to my side whenever we've taken on and won against increadible odds. He's tanked dungeons, both normal and heroic, and never backs down. I never feel right unless Nanaki is with me, atleast in my portable stable. Despite all the other cool pets I've tamed (chromaggus, Korama, Loque, a seagull, Terropene to name a few) Nanaki is the one that shines above all the others.

I hardly ever use him (for whatever reason, my cunning pets get nearly two-shot by mobs in Vashj'ir, which my hunter's currently leveling through), but Sporey the blue Sporebat has to be my favourite pet (even over my Grimtotem wolf and my Durotar Tiger that I dragged my erstwhile NE hunter all the way down to get as soon as she hit 10 and finished the old "train a pet" questline, back in 2005). When I was mindlessly leveling alts—of which my hunter is one—back in Burning Crusade, I would wander around Zangarmarsh thinking about ancient Draeneic customs. I had this idea in my head of a draenei children's holo-program, whose main characters—Sporey the Sporebat and his trusty sidekick Cheesy the Wombat—taught Draenei children about all those nifty things Draenei children would have needed to know back before Magtheridon Mannoroth and the orcish betrayal.

Most of the rest of my pets I've gotten because I really enjoy them visually and many got mini-RP backstories in my head (though I'm not on an RP server) after I got them, but Sporey's the only one who ever had his own TV show.

Xella, the idea of Sporey and the holo-program is SO cute, I wish Blizzard would make a reference to it!

Like a quest in Exodar or Shattrath where you have to go save the holographer-team of Sporey, and you watch the most recent episode to find out where they are. And there'd be little draenei kids with you watching the show, talking about how they want to go to Zangarmarsh to find their own sporebat friend when they're big enough... And maybe you'll advice them to get friendly with Sporeggar

Favorite pet by far, no contest, is Krush <3
As soon as I saw him I went right to researching, got my stamina and haste gear, stacked up the needed pots and flasks, and tamed a crok named NotKrush to start a very long, multiple day camp xD
It was all so worth it!



On my server, a LOT of people identify me by seeing Krush (I'm pretty much the only person on my server that uses him. Yeah, you see people with a green devilsaur on occasion, but it isn't common.). I'm glad Krush is a rare spawn, but even if he wasn't he'd still be my favorite. ^-^

Now I have the Ravasaur Hatchling and Swift Razzashi raptor to be his buddies
Something about green dinosaurs just makes me happy!

I have a very definative list of pets I can't live without, others have come and gone, but these have always stayed:

Now I've had Frëki, my Barking Prairie Wolf, since The Burning Crusade, when we only had 3 stable slots, and I had a Cat (Erulisse), Frëki, and a Hyena (Kibaka). Throughout my entire lvl 70 life those were my 3 pets. And when WoTLK came along, Frëki stayed as the others moved on. You can say he is the Pikachu to my Ash. =3

I tamed Xena, my Gezzarak, way back when she was a near-impossible tame. When she was broken, unfeedable, unusable. I held in there because it was my favourite Warpy skin, and Warp Stalkers are just beautiful. They're like wingless dragons =) My perseverance paid off when they finally fixed her! I thought I was the only one on my server who had her, apart from the hunter roaming around Dalaran. I got comments whereever I went, by hunters and other classes alike. She's my girl!

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEE! <3 Ickis has been my PvP companion since we got exotics. He's come and gone because of stable restrictions, but he's always come back to Mamma and he will always remain. <3 The colour is just so bizarre. I hate yellow, but it just REALLY fits with them, and the movement! So scatty (so like me! Haha). That and I love how zerg-like/Starship Trooper Bug-like they are, brilliant family overall =) And the web! I love it with spiders but this one does damage too! Coming back to my side after mauling a Hordie always makes me smile <3

Krush has been the newest addition to my stables, but I've wanted him ever since I saw him. I didn't care that he was rare, I just desperately wanted a Green Dinosaur. And I absolutely adore Devilsaurs in general, they have SUCH personality, the way they run, the way they stomp and bite and headbutt. :3 It's stupendous and they will always be a favourite family of mine.


There are more, of course, more recent and I still can't live without, but if I could go back to only having 5 slots, I would have those, and Loque. =3
