Corrupted Ashbringer. Thaddius' encounter whispers were also very scary when i listened to it. After you hear the Help me! Save me! you hear Thaddius(?) telling her 'Stop Screaming' *shiver*

Trumps everything that has scared me in the game so far, by far. I wish i could of raided old Naxx...

LOL Azun i remember someone talking about it a year or two ago so while it was fresh in my head i let myself die and i stood real close to her so i made sure i could hear and she was trying to brainwash me XDD

Already mentioned Kara Crypts. And the Undercity elevators. >.> They'd occasionally cause me to fall through the world and my corpse would end up in the Stonetalon.

Omg.. im not the only one who has ended up stranded in Stonetalon when my map says Tirisfal Glades O_O

Unless you mean a different UC elevator/stonetalon experience happened..

I rezzed at my body and 2 abomination guards fell with me into Windshear Crag and well, i was drowning on land, fish swam in the air, shamblers in the trees, murlocs guarding the way out, minimpa had legions of undead marked but i could not see them... yeah... i didnt go to stonetalon for 2 years after that.

Creepiest think for me is the naked woman-trees in the Shrine of Aessina in Mount Hyjal. No, really.

the demonic children near Goldshire I think.

Ok, watched all 5 vids, completely freaked, and have to go to work. At midnight. Alone until about 6:30 am.

Lame, I had some ready to share but (as it does) the thread distracted me with awesome vids etc. I never knew that about Thaddius, and I raided Naxx all that time... haha. Definitely an extra level of creepy there.

Oh! I just remembered. The first half of the Zul Drak quests get to me. They don't freak me out as much as upset me, really (which is bad, because ZD and SB are my two favourite Northrend quest hubs). Those quests about finding those three blokes... One is being scourge-ified alive and wants vengeance before he becomes one of them (or dies)... One is just floating, in mid-air, suspended by something and as far as I know/remember he has this section of the map just for him and no additional quest info or anything. That whole lower section of ZD really gets to me in general... it's so depressing

The old gods whispering things were great til some addon (forget) made it so when you dig up an arch fragment, the sound file will play. Now I hear it so often it's lost its awesomeness.

The ambiance in Twilight Highlands. Turn your music off, your dragon's wingbeats, everything except for the ambiance and just sit there.

Scraaape, scrape...weird little crumbly, thumping noises....the occasional owl.

I sat out there for Karoma for so long it really started to bother me and I eventually muted it. Every time I fly by I get the shivers. :l

Vashj'ir never really bothered me, I don't mind swimming with whale sharks - it's just the Highlands that bother me.

Also, the add on that whispers you for Archaeology is Deadly Boss Mods. :) There's a checkbox in the options that says 'Make Archaeology More Interesting' - it plays both C'thun and Yogg-Saron quotes when you loot a keystone. Particularly funny when you have a friend over and she's out in Crystalsong and starts freaking out because she heard things. I would love to see Blizz put in something similar, though.

Thaddius scares me more than a video game should... He's SOOOOOOO CREEEEPPPPPY.. The dreaded screams of "Please!! Save Me!!!" make me wanna clap my hands over my ears and save them.

Argh I still can't believe that Thaddius thing, the screams and stuff I just got used to. Now I'm disgusted with myself lol >.>

If you have updated DBM, it won't do it--but if you still want to hear the sounds, get the plugin "DBM Archaeology." They moved it to its own plugin
