I know Cialbi. Like I said, in general, it feels like a meh project for me when they eventually get around to it (preferably fixing other artistical stuff first, I'd hope). It also brings up the question of why genderless demons get to differentiate between male and female and druids are still predominantly male looking (excluding night elf cats which are more feminine). I know the player models are harder to do and have a lot more animations to cover, but it sucks watching my female tauren turn into a clearly male cat. =/

Anyway, I'm happy for all the people looking forward to this. The only one I'm interested in seeing is the Incubus.

The succubus/incubus and felguard are the only ones I think that would actually have a model change for different genders (doomguard maybe) the rest I think would just have a color change.

Edit: Actually hoping for this as the new incubus

I think this will be very neat to see implemented. I look forward to what they come up with in terms of the models. ^^ Sure it's not exactly 'needed' or inherently useful, but then again neither are different pet skins really. ;) Just some extra flavour to the game.

I don't know how I feel about this, but I'm leaning towards not really liking it no matter how you turn it. Then again, I know that people have been begging non-stopasking for something like this for a while, so I'm glad to see that they are listening to more than just the hunter community.

Aside from the traditional Succubus/Incubus, I don't really see a point in demons having a gender at all - you could even question it with those two, if you really wanted to.

Besides, if you want some dolled up bondage boy you can get much better elsewhere. ;P

I actually rather like this idea considering, perhaps - the male "Incubus" as they are known - maybe slightly less annoying than their female counterparts. I hate standing in the AH and looking at stuff and then a human lock will walk in with his Succubus out and the annoyance starts. The Succubus have this strange need to slap their thigh and stuff and that is very annoying to me, it can be heard all throughout the auction house. I hate it.

I think perhaps the Incubus will be very much less annoying than the Succubus, oh and did anybody read the wowikki on Incubus?

http://www.wowwiki.com/Incubus

It says that the Succubus - for some strange reason - like to spread a rumor that they devour their own mates and that they are slaves to the females on the home planet. I think this is rather funny and what would happen if the Incubus ever knew that their mates spreaded such rumors about them what they would have to say. XD Anyway...I look forward rather to changing the gender - if it does become available - of my Succubus into an Incubus...And now have found a reason to level my Inscription on my warrior. :P

"Do you have a mirror? I haven't looked at myself for the past ten minutes."

And I can't help but imagine a male blood elf warlock having a rivalry with his incubus on who's more dashing. >.>

I like this idea, but my warlock, Emielee, is already so attached to all her demons, I coudn't bear to change them now, especially her voidwalker, Throkmon and her Felguard Skelshetor. I was devestated when their names got changed right after the Shattering.

But, if got to keep our current demons, and had the option of summoning their opposite-gender counterpart, I could see this working. I'm curious as to what a female felguard would look like, but not to the extent of losing my Skelshetor Besides, who wouldn't want a demon whose name is so much like a certain 80s cartoon villain?

After reading various posts about this on MMO-C, I feel like I'm one of the only straight females that loves my succy succy. XD I would totally use an Incubus though just to piss off all the dudes that are crying about being seduced by a male demon.

Other than the annoying sounds she makes she's okay by me. Only demon that keeps on doing acceptable damage while OOM.

I love the sounds the succy makes. >_> It's one of the reasons I love her. My bf thinks I'm weird, especially because I'll randomly make the noises while on my lock.

I tried reading the MMO-Champion comments, but the stupid... It BUUUURRRRNNNNNS!! I will never again doubt people who say that the gaming world has an unfair amount of complete and utter idiots.

I'm hoping that the Incubus gets his own special model. I know many people want Illidan, but he's a very special case (and not an incubus, just a Night Elf Demon thingy). A male Blood Elf model with adjusted legs and ears, added wings and horns, and a more muscular texture would work wonderfully.

As for a female Felguard, we already have the perfect model:

If the felguard gains a female counterpart, I'd prefer it to be something really badass and able to take a beating. The Shivans are too sexualized for my tastes, that's what the succubus is for. Just my thoughts. There was some decent fanart posted in one of the many MMO-C threads. I may have to go digging around for it.

Even then, the Shivarra are priests, not warriors.

Here's my take on what they might be doing:

Imp - I'm guessing they'll take the current imp model and feminize its features a bit and give it hair. Perhaps they'll give it a different color too. My only question is what kind of voice and catch phrases are they going to give it?

Voidwalker - Knowing Blizzard, they'll take a copy of the current Voidwalker model, color it neon pink, give it a feminine voice, and call it good. Aside from giving it feminine clothing, what else can they do?

Incubus - For some reason, all I can picture Blizzard doing here is making a demonic looking blood elf and having it wear a pirate / swashbuckler type outfit while wielding a rapier covered in fel flames.

Fel Hunter - All they'll probably do here is add feminine sounding names and let your imagination do the rest. It's not like anyone really cares with these demons, they're essentially demonic animals and most beasts in WoW are gender neutral in their appearances.

Fel Guard - Blizzard has a lot of room on Fel Guards. If I had to guess, they'll go with an Amazonian looking demon with a strong, feminine voice. Another possibility would be a demonic looking Valkyrie, though that might bring them too close to the Valkyr in WotLK.

I'm hoping they leave the genderless demons out of the change (ie the voidwalker, Fel Hunter, Infernal and potentially Doom Guard).

Fel Hunters (aka Fel Stalkers) reproduce via mitosis.

Voidwalkers are created from the Twisting Nether itself.

And infernals aren't even true demons.

And as far as I can tell, felguards aren't described as having a gender.
