The Regrowth and Molten Front Daily Quest Hubs preview:
If you unlock the Druids of the Talon dailies, your journeys will take you into the shadow of the Furnace, an area wreathed in constant flame; the Molten Flow, a river of lava inhabited by flamewakers for as far as the eye can see; and Fireplume Peak, a floating island protected by hot-tempered fire hawks. If you opt to unlock the Shadow Warden dailies, you'll lay siege to the Forlorn Spire, wresting it from the enemy's grasp and establishing a new forward outpost. From there, you'll be poised to attack the Widow's Clutch, the breeding grounds for hordes of fire spiders, and Wildflame Point, a base of operations for the nefarious Druids of the Flame.
So I'm hoping some spiders will be available in the dailies area!

Yus, the fire spiders are apparently in the new questing hub area and NOT (as I previously thought) trash for the spider boss. Or at least not exclusively.
Though they might still be elementals, this does sharply increase the possibility that they may be beasts and tamable.

If the spiders in the first pictures are tamable that may be the one spider pet I will ever have that I keep. Those things are sick looking.

Oh that's Fandral Staghelm again! : ) But... his area looks very different to the open zone that scorpid is in. I don't think that's him in the original pic.

Yes, that's Fandral's scorpion form during his fight, but not the one from the picture. It uses the original scorpid base model, while the scorpion sighted in the other screenshot is clearly a Madexx model.

There isn't a flaming Madexx. Fandral's scorpion form has some fire on it from the looks of it, but I doubt that will be tameable.
In one screenshot a scorpion sillhouette was spotted in the background that looks very much like a black Madexx. Check the previous page with the image I posted.

i think fandral does use a maddex skin as base seeing the curve in his tail

Hehe, the difference is that the Fandral form is a slightly altered version of the regular scorpid model. He has some details like armor and such, including the stinger shape, but if you watch the Blizzard preview video you can see it long enough to recognize the basic scorpid model.

All for the better. Scorpid > Madexx by a LONG shot IMO...

I'd say it isn't too far fetched given Terrorpene and other non-beast beats. (Shale Spiders, Undead Spiders, Undead Hawks)
