It's normally one of my main four: Apollyon (King Krush), Tetsusaiga (Echeyakee), Vulkoor (black Madexx) or Naphthali (Razzashi Broodwidow). Every once in a while I'll whip out Kybele (Princess Huhuran). Speaking of which, I really don't like how tiny she is now. She didn't need to be huge like she was before, but did they really have to make her SO small?

I can't see her cute puppy eyes anymore unless I zoom in.

Even though everyone and their cousin's dog has tamed Loque by this point, I can't but help falling head over heels for him every time I pull him out. What can I say? He's my go-to spirit beast. After that, Skoll. And when I'm in MM (since I haven't run across Sambas as of yet) I have Echeyakee out.

I'm probably going to get drummed out of Petopia for this, but...I usually put my pet away when I'm in town.
When I do pull a pet out, though, it'll probably be my white cat. (The old non-sabercat version.) It's not "rare" or "unique", but I like the way it looks.

Usually Rak'Shiri, as he's Arrothin's partner in crime. Same pet for over five years. Other times its the last pet i used in a dungeon/raid battleground. Its not that i forget to switch them out (okay sometimes), but i feel they most recently helped me out so they should get a chance to see the world a bit. Rarely it's whatever rare trophy pet i recently tamed (although i havent currently tamed any new pets or am in the market for anything other than Chronmaggus) or am currently enamored with (Karoma last week).

I don't see any problems with running around petless in town.

That's one less thing to cover mailboxes, quest givers, etc. Everyone plays how they want. ^_^

If I am in engaged in RP then I either have no pet out, because it's unlikely that my hunters would take their animals into pubs and things with them, or if there is a scene I need them for, or am walking around town aimlessly, I will usually go for the following:
Hunters whose out and about pets are pretty much settled on:
Mozag (Troll): Mortician
Lomelinda (Nelf): Sweet Pea
Lazuli (Goblin): Pearl

and Gem
Alburga (Worgen): Byron
Then for the hunters whose out and about pets will most likely still change as they evolve:
Garshanga (Orc): Artaxias

and Boudica
Dawnsong (Tauren): Sunwind
Salariel (Belf): Thais

and Lais
Gunhilde (Dwarf): Breeze

, Firecracker

and Kalliope
Keziah (Human): Windy
And the rest don't yet have any pets like that.

Hmm, I usually like to have one of my Spirit beasts or King Krush out, just because

Sometimes I'll take out Dart though, because I like his skin/whatever

Depends what gear I'm wearing actually, and I use certain pets for certain things -
I PvP in BM spec, so I always have my lovely Myst (Loque'nahak) out and about for things like that. Plus he matches my blue PvP gear.
For PvE content I use Nightbane (Humar the Pridelord) and he serves me well for any kind of dungeon or raid!
I also use Nightbane when I RP most of the time, unless I want a pet with me that happens to match whatever I'm wearing.

I just pull out whatever I'm currently using. Once in a while I'll pull out Mazzranache for people to giggle at.

for Bitka... I sometimes bring out Clutchmother named (PMS) ... I do occationally get comments on the combination.
Most times though it's whoever I have out at the time. I like to rotate my pets so that I can play with most of them.

I'm sure folks in the AH and bank and by mailboxes appreciate it.

And up until recently when happiness was still present I'd often put my pets away if I was just hanging around for extended periods of time.

I like to walk around town with Tiamat (ghost hydra) most of the time, mostly because it's awesome. Otherwise it's my raptor Goreclaw (named after the NPC) or Hiro, my black warpstalker. Sometimes, I'll pull out Oblivion (Chromaggus) just for fun or if I'm running as BM.

Since I'm a Troll Hunter, I usually have Fenrir out, the wolf from Shattered Halls/Hellfire Ramparts because he looks like my swift grey wolf mount. But since a friend helped me tame the Flaming Armored Boar last night, I'll be rocking that until the burning sound effect gets annoying.

I did this too, but rather than dismissing them I'd just mount up on something.

So you will not get flogged by us, we promise.
