I will admit, I am grateful there's a common yellow spider. I just hope I really don't like the others or I'll be at it again.

I hate the idea of an entire family of rares, so I refused to get a spirit beast before Ghostcrawler (who seemed like the first one to have a reasonable chance of taming without camping). But after a while, I decided I would really prefer an opaque SB, so was lucky enough to snag Loque after a few days of fly-bys.

With a dislike of transparent SBs and gem skins, I was down to the spiders. I like them, and will probably eventually tame some of them on alts, but my main prefers her current spider.

So I won't be taming any of the new ones, but I don't mind. I don't have to like the pets in every patch, that would be unrealistic.

I feel the same way.

I think the new critters are super cool, but unsure if I'm gonna grab any.

As much as I like spiders, I've never been able to bond with one and I have the same issue with the jewel looking creatures.

I miiiiight get one of the ghost kitties on my other hunter when he hits cap.

But I may end up doing what I do with a lot of cool, but not omg must have beasties, and just fawn over the ones friends and guildies tame.

All I have to say is.... I've gotta cap one of my baby hunters before the next patch just incase.

Yeah, my wee inscription alt hunter is coming up in the world. >_>

I don't want to see a million and a half spirit beasts, mind you, but at least not just more Gondria wannabes.

Granted I don't want to see another spirit beast.... other then that fox in the art section... Ya... I'm attached to that thing now.

I'm not hugely excited or dissapointed in the new pets. I think some of the looks are cool, but none of them made me go 'EEEEEEEEE, I WANT ONE!' I was in a Firelands raid today and I saw those burning hound things. Now THAT made me go 'EEEEEEE!!!!!' I soooo wish we could tame that. The boss that wonders around on the outside has two of them as his pets, so I think that's a valid reason why we should be able to tame them!

I am happy to see that so many people love the new pets and I love all the excitement about people getting their first new rares. I need to run around and collect them at some point for a video, but I think I'll let them run free after they spend a few days filming with me.
