I've kept Anhka from being killed by my own faction, not long after she got tamed by the other faction and I was happy to see that she got a home. I've shared info with a couple other hordies who ask how things are done with Ban'thy, but sadly, I have not seen one Molten Front rare up at all since the patch hit. I've given a good friend of mine info on the spiders' tames, but he turned around and asked me if the commons were the same model. I said yes and the next thing I know....I'm fighting off insta-spawns of the yellow spiders and catch a glimpse of a freezing trap go off in the corner of my screen.

He opted to take a common home until he could find Anthriss. <3 It's kinda a prideful moment when you see a hunter you've been helping get something they really like, common or rare.

I just helped a hunter get Magria. My NPCscan went off, but Mindala (my 85 hunter) is MM, and I've decided to not dual-spec and thus not tame exotics. So I messaged several hunters, the second on my list wanted him. He had to fly to the stable master to free up a pet slot, though! So I waited with Magria to make sure nobody killed him. Told the guy he had to strip naked to do it and thankfully he believed me! Success!

i've helped a friend get anhka and i've helped a drani get deth (though i wanted him) helped queit a few poeple get kirix by either stopping griefers or telling them how to get it/ core hound.

Once, with Deth'tilac by a warlock. I paid him 2k for his efforts.

I told an ally hunter once how to tame Kirix, which he got him the next time he patted back around. I also tried to help another hunter tame Deth. I was on an alt when it spawned. I came all the way out there on my main that has Deth just to try to help whoever was gonna try to tame him. An ally hunter and I worked for about 15-20 mins sending our pets in and setting down frost traps only for Deth to kill itself in the end cause it got too close to the hunter while he was trying to tame him and deth striked himself and the hunter. Needless to say I didn't think I would be so bummed about it but I was, I was really hoping he was gonna get the tame off.

I've helped my brother get Deth and Ban (As well as camped for a week with him for his Skarr), a guildie get SKitterflame and Kirix (within 5 minutes of each other), and other hunter's I've found trying to get the other spiders. Just today I helped a MM hunter get Kirix, he only knew half of the strat and I told him what he didnt know.

I'm not helping anyone anymore, but it was a good feeling, wasn't it? Knowing you just made someone's day absolutely that much better.

I help where I can, when I can. I've spent a lot of time explaining the mechanics of the tames to players who don't frequent the forums, though for the tames I've not done personally, I tend to copy and paste information. Apparently I'm getting a reputation for helping, because I've had some people ask for help recently. O_o

I'm not really after anything anymore out there myself, so I'm not camping like I used to, but I do try to help. I've re-homed many a Karkin while camping for Skarr and have helped others get Deth and Kirix (and even Kirix-look a likes).

I wouldn't want to play a game that makes me a vindictive, out there only for myself or my own, type of person. Its not in my nature in the real world, and I'm not going to let a group of small minded, egocentric idiots determine how I enjoy my free time. Yes there are jerks and rude as hell people in game, but I don't let them ruin it for me. And when I can, I don't let them ruin it for others.

So yeah, I'll help out.

I always help but i guess that is just who i am. I don't care if your ally or horde when it come to finding a new friend i will always help. I tried just yesterday to show a fellow hunter how to tame Kirix but sadly another hunter who was quite rude and died 5 or 6 times got him.

I help every time I see someone attempting a tame. The only time I'll ever not help is if someone is ignoring what I say.
I'm very strict with myself about my "The first one there is the one that gets the tame" policy. When I was camping Karkin, the second Karkin that spawned had a troll there, waiting to tame. That time I just hung back, wished him luck, and heck, I silenced the Barrage. I help as much as I can with any tame.

Today, I got to help a fellow Hunter tame Deth. I was sitting and waiting for Solix, and I get a whisper from him asking me if I could come help him out since he was having issues solo-taming it. And I tell you what...have two hunters, both with spider pets, both using traps...it was a peice of cake. It took -maybe- three minutes between the two of us. All I had to do was concussive shot once his health was down while he tamed. Was the easiest thing ever.

He said he wishes he could trade me his Solix. I wish he could have too. >.< heh.

Helped quite a few people uhm:

Skarr once this troll chick was camping him and I was just sitting beside her, I left after awhile and came back to see Skarr sitting there I was halfway through my tame when she ran up to me and /begged for me to let her tame it so I feigned death and let her have it. She named it after me, then made a char on alliance side to tell me how happy she was etc, even named the pet after me. So when I tamed the same cat later I named mine after her and then we /hugged and went and sat down me with my Alliance balloon her with her horde balloon and our two cats named after eachother and took a screen shot .

Helped a couple hunters get Kirix because they couldn't figure him out, even switched to a horde toon to tell them how.

I've used my silencing shot to help with skarr and karkin tames.

It musta been good karma because the same people who I helped in turn helped me tame deth'tilac and I wasn't real sure what I was doing but by the end of that I got deth striked and finished the tame.

Also switched on and off with a guy who was wanting Ankha while I wanted Magria he'd wait and watch on his toon while I did dailies, then id wait while his char did dailies.

I found so many more nice people than mean ones on my server actually. Of course I did get the occasionally horde who freaked out and thought I was gonna take a pet from them then they attacked me. But those guys got a rhino horn toss off Fireplume peak for their transgressions. Even had one log in to alliance side and laugh because it was so funny and i was like 'I'm not gonna take the pet lol i was just looking'. D:

I've helped 4 Hunters tame Deth'Tilac, 3 for Kirix, 3 for Solix, 1 for Skitterflame, 2 for Ankha and 1 for Ban'Thalos.

I was happy to do it.

Now here comes the shitty part. I killed Deth'tilac while a Hunter of my own faction was taming it with the intention of having it dead.

Why?

Because he broke an agreement we both had.

Him/Her: Wanting Skarr (me having Skarr)
Me: Wanting Karkin (him/her having Karkin)

I tell him "Skarr spawns, I'll help you tam with Ancient Hysteria" (handed him/her a Potion of Speed) "as well as kill any Ally that come our way trying to fuck with you.
He/she tells me "Karkin spawns, I'll do the exact same.

I get bored of camping. Shoot the man/woman a tell "Hopping on my War to FC some Rando's with friends. If the Crab spawns, lemme know." ~"Kay."

30 Mins later....
Me: "You still out there man?
IT: "Erm, NE Hunter tried killing it but died so I tamed it."
Me: "..."

I didn't get my PST from the man/woman, the NE Hunter had died and it was clear the Pet wasn't going to anyone. I got fucked.

20 Mins Later I'm back at the Molten Front on my War to scan through the place while making some World PVP Happen. See him kiting Deth'Tilac (Who's at 4mil HP, time has already been wasted...the chump doesn't even know that he's tamable at 17 Mil.)
I walk up get some decent threat, wait for the Deth'Strike and BAM. Dead Deth'Tilac.

At this point he's mad as fuck.
At this point I'm bitter as fuck.
He sends me hate tells.
I send him sarcastic tells in reply because, bitter.
He sends more hate tells.
I tell him he fucked me over.
He gives me some lame excuse and tried to say he was going to send me that tell he promised.
Call him out on his bullshit because a tell takes 2secs tops.
He stops sending me tells.
~Not a single fuck was given.

Lesson learned, don't trust pugs and vengeance IS justice.

I kited Solix for someone since they tried n tried n couldnt successfully tame, they were very happy and tried to pay me but i was like nahh, im just happy to see him go to a good home

ive also-- it wasnt helping cause they were already there prepping to tame him-- but i cheered on a hunter (took my Kirix earlier that day ;_;) who was with his guildy trying to tame Karkin, i think he remembered me from the Kirix incident cause he saw me die many times over trying to get the green spider but he seemed relieved and went forward with his pull/tame when i pulled out my matching Karkin and jumped around /cheering XD

I also have Kalli and another hunter on my server to thank for teaching me the proper non-evade way to taming Kirix (the hunter of my server gave me some speed pots as well as tipped me in the first place Kirix was up)

I've helped a hunter get Deth during a busy daily hour. I was on my paladin and my friend was on his warlock I said that "we should help" and told him to send his minion over two times. The hunter was keeping his own spider just shooting webs and only occasionally sending it to it's death. I whispered him that we just want to help him so that we get our daily hub free of big purple spider walking back and forth. I went to occasionally whack the spider a few times, since it was content on ignoring me. (Guess plate doesn't taste so good.) There was tons of pressure from the side watchers as Deth got lower but finally tamed. We /cheered him and continued our dailies then.

I haven't really had an opportunity to help any hunters with the new challenge tames. So far, I've only ever seen Kirix and Deth. The first time I saw Kirix, I tamed him. The second, he was busy on a big ol killing spree and I didn't see any hunters actually trying to tame, just a lot of people getting whacked by him.

The time I saw Deth was just seconds before a Dwarf hunter finished taming him. He had some friends with him so I assumed he knew what he was doing. I cheered 'im once he succeeded. I'm not sure I would've helped if I'd gotten there sooner because I really only know the basics of taming Deth and wouldn't have wanted to screw it up for the guy.

Now back during my months-long search for Krush, I found homes for Loque and Aeotona when I ran across them.

Quite often! When I didn't know really how to tame them, Kalliope was there to help! Kalliope hasn't posted here but without her, I'd have a few less pets. lol Kalliope has even had me 'tell him/her, they need to do x x x ' since she's on my real id and she can't actually talk to the horde hunters.

I've helped horde and alliance alike. Though, I'm getting less and less likely to help the alliance because a lot of them apparently see me standing there and take it as a treat and try or do kill me when I'm not even doing anything but watching. I've had hunters /w me on my hunter if I'm doing dailies to see if I can come help them tame. It's fun and they always seem appreciative! I even had one guy want to pay me 100g for Loque this morning and I told him I had nothing to do with knowing he was out that it was Kalliope and I wouldn't take his money anyway....he just has to agree to provide my favorite spirit beast a good home! Love on him often! He had me thank her...and he went to Org to show off his new pet!

<3 Rox! Between the two of us, we've gotten a fair few hunters hooked up with new pets! Including Loque last night, yay! <3 Very sweet of him to offer to tip; I was just glad to see him get homed as well. Then to see Aotona and King Krush up right after....that really made my night; had never seen all three up on the same server right after the other like that before.

It's really been a great thing to know that hunters of both factions are getting a chance to know who's up and have a support system. There are so many wonderful people of both factions who have helped - numerous horde hunters and non-hunters from both sides who were just there to hang out and watch tames.

Been seeing more of the horde hunters taking potshots at me as well over time, though 99% of the time, I just put 'em down afterwards. Even the ones I don't get a direct message to seem to understand that I could have destroyed them when they first approached if I'd had the inclination to....but I don't.

I try to help the best I can when I can, horde or alliance.

I picked up Solix on my radar so I went into the cave to check it out. There was an Orc? Hunter currently trying to tame it but had tons of adds following them and was low on health. So I ran around with them grabbing the adds off them until they tamed Solix.

Another time at Solix I asked to make sure the Hunters staring at it knew what they were doing. They claimed they did.. yet died instantly every pull and I never saw a trap go down. I wasn't sure if I dropped my slow traps if it would screw up their tames so I just sat back not sure what to do and killed any adds if they popped up. Eventually a Troll Hunter came up who knew what he was doing and kited it around then tried to tame. I'm not sure if the other Hunters killed it.. but it died right as the tame was about to finish.

I tried to help a guy get Magria. He had no Spirit Beast when I first talked to him and I was camping for Ankha at the time so I friended him and told him I would let him know if I saw any. He was a little too slow getting there and I had to explain to him how Magria/Ankha worked. Good news was he got Skoll earlier that day and I was a "luck charm" for him. After talking to me he finally got a Spirit Beast after a year of hunting.

I somewhat helped a NElf tame Ban'thalos. He was setting himself up in the tree and dropped trying to hit Ban'thalos but failed to tag it. I tossed him my racial heal just to heal him up quick so he could try again. I kind of regretted doing it a day later when he announced in region "sorry to other hunters after banthalos i just tamed him again for shits n giggles" or something like that. It really rubbed me the wrong way. Some of his other comments in tells to me also helped to further the rubbing in the wrong direction. (It wasn't about Banth. He was asking me what I was camping and started chittering about things.)
