Mindala respects the killers more than the challenge-free tames. She feels a kinship with that kind of efficiency.

SAME! I think these new tamables are fuck as fuck. It's not your typical "run up, arcane shot, tame. yay."... It's more along the lines of:

The Kirix tame and Deth'tilac tames were by far the most fun for me. Solix (after I actually read ALL the way through) was simple as hell but still kept me on my toes because of the rate at which he ran.

Kirix tame made me elated. The adrenaline rush, along with eventually taming him, and him being my favorite color...he owns Firelands. Right now, he's going on a killing spree at his spawn point. People are trying to killing him and he's just poisoning them and stunning and likely doing a spider-laugh.

You may all hate me, but tamed Kirix myself on a whim when no other hunters wanted him, without any deaths.

Simply put nature resist on, hit tame, took his punt, disengaged at the highest point and landed, taking no damage and tamed. One try, and the molten green beast was mine. He hangs out in my stables since Deth runs with me, but do have to say he's a stunning creature - despised or loved.

Hopefully after he has gained your trust after so many kills he will earn himself a name from you. Congrats :)

He is so loved by me that I can't even bring him out of his stables to be used as cannon fodder! Deth serves that purpose pretty well.

Oh but he IS my cannon-fodder pet. He'll rarely be used. ;-)

@Kall, he loves NO ONE!
Or just ME, because I was the one who was strong enough to enslave his mind, thus proving my fortitude.
Nah, he loves me for sure. ;) He lets me pretend to tame him to show others how to do it the fun way. :D

He just came to me, cuz he knows I appreciate his beauty! And his evil tricks and poison! And speed, man he can run! So I tamed him from a floating rock. Haha. Can't stun me from there, eh, Kirix!?

I like to think of the disengage method as Kirix playing with his food future adventure companion. ;)

Now that's just bad manners. It's best you use the Tabletop (Skarrock) method. It's clean and efficient. NO MESS, so your guests don't get all weirded out.

The disengage method is clean and efficient when executed properly. :D Been doing it that way for about a month and a half, so no muss OR fuss. :mrgreen:

STOP BEING SO ARGUMENTATIVE. -giggles-

I'm just inept at the disengage method. I panic like a motherfucker when it comes to taming, so the method that requires me to be at the safest distance works best for me lol.

Aye, whatever works. There is some level of hp/haste required for him in most cases.

The point is that it's not really Kirix's fault if a hunter continuously fails to get him. ;)
