Reset timeout may need adjusting to your preferences but this should at least get you started:

Single Target
#showtooltip
/castsequence [mod][btn:2] Icy Touch;reset=6/combat/target Icy Touch,Plague Strike,Obliterate,Blood Strike,Frost Strike,Horn of Winter

If rime procs, use right click or left + mod to use IT, otherwise it will cycle through - on change of target it auto-resets to allow you to apply fresh diseases

Alternatively if you have an extra hotkey available I'd recommend splitting IT into its own slot, with the macro directly next to it. That way it's easier to see when rime procs.

yeah I can definitely split it. Plus it says to use Howling Blast once I get it, instead of IT unless Rime procs.

I've always wondered...is it bad to use DnD for like a single target boss fight?

Yes, it takes too many runes away that you could use for 3 Obliterates.

Also as per rotation link, thats wrath dated, there is no rotation, it's a complete priority system based on current procs, as well as if you're mastery or haste build (frost), ect. :/ Sorry, mains a DK.

Shame on me for telling them that a non macro will sig increase their dps? Or that a DPS macro for a dk is ineffective? God forbid I try and steer them in the right direction.

And if she really wants to ezmoad a dk, she should try the addon CLC DK which essentially tells her what button to hit for a relatively proper priority.

Not so much EZ Mode. I'm just trying to learn it. I've never been good with macros so I was wondering because of the priority system if a macro was possible.

It's possible if you want to do terrible dps and look bad, if you want to LEARN the priority I suggest installing CLC DK, its a rune bar but also displays your priority and monitors your procs(you set it up by which spec you are at the time ) and it'll tell you what button to hit based on your current runes/procs ect for single target damage until you're more comfortable with the priority system and know it based on timing mostly.

As per AoE, DND is fine in AOE. Dot, Pest, and spam HB. Avoid Icy Touch. Repeat, AVOID. Be it single target or aoe.

As per favoring frost or ob, that really depends on if you're mastery stacked or haste stacked. (go haste, but build up your mastery as well), you'll get the hang of it, and eventually not waste procs on fs. Also, DPS in Unholy Pres, regaurdless of whatever DKs still stuck in the last patches/expansions may tell you, it is better unless you have a TOTAL mastery build, and even then it's really subpar.

That addon reminds me Feral By Night, which does the same thing for Kitty/Bear druids. and yeah the site said Unholy Pres. My DK is only 67 so I dont have HB or Unholy Pres yet.
