Chubby females all the way. Absolutely. I'll play a female pandaren regardless of what they look like, because I like the idea of them and I want to experience the starting zone and all that, but I'll enjoy her much, much more if she's nice and round, as a panda woman ought to be.

if they screw the females up i'll forever pick male pandas, though i hope they get some other hairstyles, i like the one with the long braided beard but i want them to have some choice

The male pandaren are somewhat androgynous as-is for the Warcraft universe; they're not hunched over or rippling with comically large muscles. I don't think this will end up like the debacle of trying to feminize a big scary werewolf... You don't need to alter a male pandaren's proportions or aesthetic much to create great-looking female pandaren.

Nice to see so many folks agreeing with me - was hesitant to make the thread at first for worry I would be called some sort of fat fetishist or something for not wanting a "sexy" skinny female for the new race.

Ah crap. Another chubby female option is going to give me conniptions trying to fit one on a server. Naturally, that's likely the route these will go. WTB more character slots on a server please.

"Another"? There's just two - dwarves and tauren. how does that make your options worrisome?

Err, what? The chubby female part (the "other" I was only applying to dwarven women, btw; tauren are not chubby) only means that I have renewed interest in rolling a new character on one of my main servers. I have two main servers, both of which have 10 characters each. Plus we'll be getting a new class. I've already deleted as much as possible; what am I supposed to do come MoP?

tauren are "big boned" not chubby. But to a human they could look like there fat!

I just wish Blizz would release male and female models at the same time for once! We got lucky with goblins, and I suspect only because there were already female goblin NPCs in game. Worgen turned into this huge disaster (I had to delete my female worgen - couldn't stand the pernament TMNT sneer and the constant sniffing).

Hopefully, Blizz won't take forever this time to show us what fluffy, cuddly girl pandas look like, and they'd better be fluffy and cuddly.
