So, my new idea. It didn't take me long to figure out how weird it was for a Worgen to have a pet cat. I mean... That's like a dog having a pet cat. It sounds... odd. So to fix this, I came up with a shiny new idea. When I first thought of it I thought it wouldn't work, but it turns out that it will. I'll basically have my own 'wolf pack' of pets - I'm going to tame all of the wolf family skins. There are 19 skins in total, less than I assumed to start with, not including the colour-changing worgs. Plus the two spirit beast wolves and that's 21 pets, which still leaves me room for four more pets. I don't know which four extra pets I'll get, but I assume I'll decide this at level 85. I'll probably end up with Terrorpene though, since I love that skin so much and I'll need a tenacity pet.

So first into the family is Ashes - a Blackrock Battle Worg that Glaine 'stole' from the Orc clan inhabiting the Redridge Mountains. These wolves are actually harder to tame for a lower level than you might first think; they're level 16-17 elites and even at level 27 I had to have a few tries before I successfully tamed one without getting killed. The reason for this is that you can't aggro one on it's own, once you start the tame on one, a whole pack of them come running. And since they're all elites, they kill you pretty fast. I had to get JUST within taming range for it to work, and even when it did work, I still died just a second or two after the tame had finished. It was fun nonetheless though!

Unf I love the idea of having your own wolfpack.
Terropene can be like an adopted brother.
Also, the spirit wolves? great for the same buffs the cats have anyways. You can have your cake and eat it too! <3

It's a bit of a shame since I do love the saber cat model. >: But I'll be getting Sambas to match with the Golden King that I'll (Hopefully!) get one day!

I've had no updates recently pet-wise since I've grown really attached to Ashes and don't wanna have another wolf to add to the pack quite yet. Also the boyfriend came over for a couple of days so I didn't exactly do much WoW-related stuffs. But Glaine is level 32 now and seems to be flying through the levels! I'm convinced they lowered the amount of XP needed for each level...

Oh I will. He looks so adorable, he's sure to be a favourite as well. As I said before, I'll be taming all the wolf skins/models eventually.

Ur worgen fits with the black wolf perfectly!!!. Love that wolf. I used to have one, but releaced it, when i decided that my character should have white theme kinda. So now i have a white wolf. The best wolf model is that model. I dont like the other wolf models. Exept Skoll. he is blue awesomeness! <3

They make such a lovely couple, Glaine and Ashes. :3 I'm so attached to him I haven't been able to tame another wolf yet!

You two look great together! I can't wait to find the right wolf for my Worgen. I've settled on a darker one as well since they look less "ratty" then their lighter counterparts, IMO.

I find I actually really like the Mulgore wolves, the pale coloured ones, especially the ones that bark after you tame them. They're so sweet. Might grab one of them very soon. <3

I'm pretty much going to turn this into a leveling journal, of sorts. That means that anything interesting that happens to me as I level Glaine to 85 will be recorded here, such as reaching a level that means something important to me, taming a new companion, anything like that. And then I suppose this journal will end once I've reached 85. But no doubt I'll be making pet/mount journals in the future.

Since it's now the weekend I plan to get to at least level 45, level 50 if I work at it hard enough.

I decided to change Glaine's look around a bit to match his pet and some of his upcoming pets. I decided having a stable full of wolves would leave me almost no room later for other pets I might want, so I decided to basically tame whatever I want with a slight theme. I'm going to tame some black pets; I found myself liking a lot of the looks of the dark-coloured pets over the lighter ones. I'm not going to tame all the black pets there are, just some that I like, such as his current wolf, Ashes, Humar the Pridelord, a black devilsaur when Glaine is level 60, etc.

Plus I found myself quite liking this new look.



Obviously, his fur colour was changed from brown to black, his ears are now longer and more pointed, his beard has gone and he now has an extra tie in his mane. One reason I quite liked the facial hair the way it is now is because the hair ties are purple, so they match his eyes. I know you can't change the face at the hairdressers but I wouldn't have changed it anyway, I love the purple-eyed face. Purple and black seems to be Glaine's thing, hrm?

Made maself a new siggy. I was gunna wait until I got to level 60 before I used that gear in a signature but... I couldn't wait. xD Yay for brightly coloured signatures.

Tamed a new companion today! His name is Cole. AKA. Humar the Pridelord! He is now Cole the Pridelord. And now me and him sit and wait for Takk's nest to spawn.

Got 3/4 nests without even trying! o: I logged off around where Takk's nest could spawn, logged back on a little later and it was there. Then I went to check on Dart's and the Razormaw Matriarch's nests and they were both there as well! Obviously I can't check for the Ravasaur Matriarch's nest just yet, since that's in Un'Goro... That'd be a little tricky for me at the moment, lol. Glad I got them with no hassle though!
